why do good girls like lone guys? (Blaine x Pica)

"Honestly just listening to you is interesting enough, so I don't mind. We could watch a film though."

He wondered what to watch, since he didn't have a particular preference in films.

Ami turned red at Jono's remark. "I-I am..? Well.. Uh.. Thanks.. Uh.." she stuttered. 'Oh God, learn how to speak first!' her conscious said, mentally slapping her in the process. "W-well, what do you want to watch..? W-we have a lot of movies here.." She said, pointing to the case that had all their cds in it. "Go ahead and choose.. You're choice" She added, smiling at him.

He looked the movies over from their spines to see what to watch.

Mean Girls? Not exactly the right time for that.

Juno? Might give the wrong impression.

Twilight? No...just no.

And then he found one he liked "Do you like horrors at all?"

He had found The Conjuring on the shelf.

"H-horror?" Ami repeated, gulping audibly. "Y-yeah.. It's fine." She said, taking the dvd from the case and putting it in the player. She then went to take a seat beside Jono, the remote on the coffee table in front of them. Taking the remote, she pressed play, making herself comfortable beside him.

He naturally from earlier put an arm around her and watched the film. For himself, he didn't get particularly scared by horror movies, but enjoyed watching them. He didn't know how it was for Ami though.

He wondered how she would react to any jump scares.

As the movie progressed, Ami inched closer and closer to Jono, obviously afraid. She tried putting up a brave front, but the jump scares were to much for her little heart. Another jump scare appeared, making Ami jump herself. "Ahh!" she cried out, burying her face in the crook of Jono's neck, clutching his shirt as she was shaking like a leaf.

Jono chuckled at her reaction and held her closely. At one point she basically dove into him and he didn't resist. She was shaking while holding to him for her dear life. He look down at her, her face millimetres away from his.

"You want me to turn it off?"

Ami looked up to Jono, she could feel his breath on her. "I-it's ok.. W-we can still-" Just as she was about to tell him ok, another jump scare appeared out of nowhere, causing Ami to jump onto Jono. "Turn it off, turn it off, turn it off!!" She cried out, shaking in her place, wrapping her arms around Jono's neck.

He pressed the remote from his hand, turning it off.

It didn't help the awkward situation though that Ami was basically on top of Jono, who was really unsure what to do at this point. It could go so many ways from here.

"..umm...."

Ami didn't notice the awkward position she was in and looked up to Jono. A few tears came from her eyes, obviously still scared.

"I'm sorry... This night has just gotten.. Worst.." She murmured, looking down to her hands, resting her head on Jono's chest.

"It could be worse. Like you getting angry with me or similarly bad situations."

He gave her a kiss on her head from where she was.

Then he had a mild inner panic.

Shit. Why did I do that. It was in the moment. But I...

Ami blushed uncontrollably, looking up to Jono after he kissed her.

"M-me..? Get angry?.." She repeated, the idea a weird one.

"And.. d-did you.. uhm.." She said, stuttering, her blush deepening.

His eyes looked away as he scratched the side of his face nervously. He never expected to get so caught up like this before.

"I....well..."

He didn't really have words in his mouth and if he did he lost them instantly.

Ami looked to Jono, who seemed more baffled than her.

Smiling a little, Ami seemed to calm down somewhat. "Jono..?" Ami called out to him, placing her hand on his face, making him face her.

She then gave him a little peck on the lips, a mad blush on her face.

His face went red as he was kissed. Well then...

"I...well...this is all bit new to me. I've always been a bit of a loner so I never experienced...well..."

The words were stuck in his mouth. Knocking people out was his territory. How to deal with love and such was completely unfamiliar to him.

Ami chuckled a little. A blushing Jono was something she has never seen.

"Well.. We're on the same page then.." She murmured, resting her head on his chest.

"And.. If you don't want anything to do with me... You could just say so..." She added, her voice falling to a whisper.

"Its not like that, i do, its just...I don't know how to go about with it." He gave a nervous chuckle as he looked at her face. It was cute and her skin looked to be soft like her hand. Also was a deep crimson colour at the moment.

Ami smiled and played with Jono's shirt, drawing circles on his chest.

"Well, we could always take things slow.." She said, looking up at him. "Besides... We're both new at this.."

She then proceeded to give Jono a kiss on the cheek, blushing much more than normally.

"True." He chuckled, adding "Well I didn't quite expect this outcome from saving you."

He gave a kiss on her lips back and relaxed. At least he wasn't the only klutz at this.

Ami rested her head on his chest. "Well, I'm glad you did save me.. I might not be even alive if you didn't save me.." she murmured, getting comfortable. She started getting sleepy again, her eyes beginning to close.

"Well whatever outcome it could have been, its been averted." He smiled and closed his eyes, resting his head on her embracing her and also dozing off rather comfortably.

Just as the clock struck 12 midnight, Christian and Emily come home to find Amelia in Jonathon's arms, sleeping quite soundly in the living room couch. "Well Christian, it looks like you're little princess is growing up." Emily said to her husband, smiling at the scene before them. Christian in turn, wrapped his arm around his wife's waist. "So it seems, love." He replied, kissing his wife on the forehead.

Emily went to the closet near the living room. She grabbed a spare blanket and placed it over her daughter and Jono. "There, now they shouldn't be chilly as much." She said, looking to her husband. "Well, let's leave them be, we need our rest as well, no?" Christian said, leading his wife up to their own room.

As the morning came, both Emily and Christian came down to find the two of them still fast asleep. "Well, aren't they sleeping like a log." Christian said, chuckling as they both made their way to the kitchen. "Well dear, looks like Jono will be able to taste your cooking today." He told his wife, a smile on his face. Emily then clapped her hands together. "Oh my, you're right! I should get to it!" she exclaimed, beginning her cooking.

The sound of a clap suddenly woke Jonathan up, his eyes shot open.

"Hmmm? What? I...ah."

He remembered last night, though didn't remember the blanket.

"Oh hello Emily and Christian. Didn't quite expect to sleep that long."

He noticed Ami waking up from the sound too.

"Mngghh.. Just a few more minutes.." Ami murmured, cuddling closer to Jono, the clap somewhat waking her up.

Christian looked over to Jono, a smile on his face. "No problem Jonathon. It seems you two slept soundly, we wouldn't want to disturb you two love birds." He said, chuckling a little. Emily was in the kitchen, preparing their breakfast. "Oh Jono! It's no problem! Although it seems Ami doesn't want to wake up yet!" She said to him, laughing a little at her daughter's demeanor. "Why don't you stay for breakfast? I'm making my specialty!" she asked him, a broad smile on her face.

"Sure. Though I'm not sure your daughter is awake enough to eat breakfast." He chuckled a bit.

Jono waited for the food as Ami stirred beside him, stroking her hair with his hand.
