Fantasy When Darkness Comes.

"Seeing as my wolf is an extension of myself and fosters the same love for my babies here" she nods towards the mice, "she's easier to stop from killing. We eat, so I'm not starving. I don't care. I won't kill." She frowned deeply at Ewan. "This place is already plagued with too much death." "She'll screech and cry until I can't stand it any longer. I couldn't kill if I tried. Trust me, I've tried."

Amusingly playing with the little mice, she let them both run from hand to hand, possibly a bit more amused with the little creatures then she should've been, but who would blame her, really, not only when she had had a drink, but obviously hadn't had sleep in quite some time. "So tiny.." She mused mindlessly to herself.

He'd take a step back for a moment, and would begin to think about how to devise a plan, about how to make everyone happy. "I know Elizabeth is not in her right mind right now. I don't want to take advantage of that.. That will most defiantly hurt me later on.. But I need to know the status of Eliana, and James. So lets see with them we have a mechanic, a loner, I don't know how to classify Elizabeth, and three werewolves.. Hmmm, this shall be interesting."

LeaAnn leaned back against the house with a grin. I'm glad you enjoy them! I'm glad to finally meet kind people around here!

After about five more minutes Elizabeth appeared done with her little fascination for the mice, and offered them back to LeaAnn. "Here." She mused, the amusement obvious from her face, ignoring Ewan's step back for the time being.

Ewan would look around, and would look toward the wooded area down the road to the west. "What's taking them so long.. It seriously can't take them this d*mn long to to get back." He'd sit on a railing, and would begin to take a complete account of what was available to him. " Hmm…" "Plenty of buildings, and cars… we can use a house to build a fence, and make a perimeter.."

LeeAnn took them back, and began stroking them with affection. She pouted at Ewan. "Are you okay?" "Leave him alone. It's called privacy." her wolf scolded.

James.looked hungrily at the man who was perched on the railing, he would do nicely for a meal. He hadn't eaten in six days, and though he wasn't yet weakened d, he knew he soon would be with no meal in him. It was a level of hunger akin to if one was soon to have lunch, having missed breakfast, so uncomfortable but he was fine, currently at least.

But the guy had been talking to someone. Now this presented two eventualities. A, he was with allies, who might make him difficult to kill amd then feast on. B, he spoke to himself, like James had gotten into th habit of, because he was slightly insane, and he was not afraid to admit so.

James decided to try and get a closer look, to see which case was true, the former or the latter.

"Hey uhh Ewan, i'll bring this back to the house." He then swung the bag around, throwing his arm back through the straps. Thinking to himself, "They seem kind, and for battle capabilities, i know im ready. So is Ewan, but Elizebeth seems lacking. However, she has to have some skill to have survived this long. Leah, i cant really say. She is a werewolf though...hmm." He then opened the door, swinging the bag off of his back and throwing it onto the couch. Then heading back outside.

A strong stench, unlike any other she had smelled before, bombarded LeeAnn's nose. Her wolf whined in disgust. She spun around in a circle, searching for the source. Her eyes widened as she opened up her hands, sharpened nails glistening. She glanced nervously at Ewan and Elizabeth. "Do you smell that?!" she whined.

Ewan, would unhook his model 1887, from it's holster at his side. He'd gently pull on the lever, and check to make sure he had ammo. His ears tingled with the sound of the wind rustling, and the smell of week old blood begin to fill his nostrils. His hands reacted quickly,as he'd pull the lever back to its original position, and turned around in a rapid motion. The stock of his gun pressed against his chest aimed at the area which the smell of blood came from. "Too late for zombies to be out.. But not to early for ghosts to be out.." The nickname for vampires which he called ghosts, came from his military background. " Someone is out there.. and they are defiantly hungry.."

Now there was another guy. He would have to change tactics now, he supposed.

"Hey? You guys are survivors right? Zombies don't talk, right? Ah well, judt answer and we'll know." He called. He did tend to go on a bit. He didn't believe that that was part of going mad though,.as he had done it plenty before the bombings. Then again, he may have been mad all that time, but not known it. He stopped suddenly as he realised he had said all of that out loud. Woops.

Seth casually walked back to where they had gathered, resting his hand on the handle of one of his katanas. He then felt the wind blow, a strange scent hitting his nose, but one he was not familiar with. "What is that.." He said to himself, raising his arm to his nose as he rejoined the circle. He then turned his head toward the speaking man.

Ewan jumped down from the railing, not letting his shotgun move a bit. He'd come from behind the voice, and would have his gun pointed at the back of kid's head. " We have you cornered, you make one wrong move, and your head is gone. Now stand up, and drop any of your weapons on the ground right now. "

Elizabeth just looked at the people there in a dumbfounded manner, very nearly ready to pass out, which she very nearly did while she stumbled a slight step back, rubbing at her eyes tiredly. "I think.. We should go to bed.." She muttered, referring to Ewan, though she was already stumbling her way back to the house, very nearly tripping over her own feet, and at the same time almost going into another fit of laughter and giggles.

Fae sat perched on an old bench that was used to wait for the buses, Ferret on her shoulders, making little sniffing noises at her, no doubt as hungry as she was. "I know, I know." She murmured quietly. She hadn't had very much luck finding any food, just because something always frightened her off, whether that be a sound or a movement. Tail giving a flick, she stood from the bench, walking towards the nearest grocery store with a very nearly skip in her step.

"Hey whoah clam down, I'm definitely human. And I kniw anyone could say that but I promise. And I know anyone... uh... what was I saying? Ah never mind. Here, have my pistol, I never really liked it." He said, handingg it over, although his dusters were still in his pockets.

Catherine just now reaches the outer edges of the ruined city, lost and hungry she staggers along the streets through the rubble hoping to find food, safe shelter, and possible friends soon ignorant to the dangers that lie in this place. She walks around one of the nearby subdivisions not finding anything of use there and starts to journey closer towards the scene and not knowing what is happening ignorant of the hungry vampire and thus not bothering to try and cover up the new cut in her arm as she falls on a pile of rocks and onto some glass cutting her arm muttering to her self as she gets up "a-a-am I the only one left?....."

"Wh-whoa!" Seth said as he saw Ewan with his gun drawn on someone. He then drew both of his swords, slowly approaching the scene. As he was heading there Elizebeth was walking back. "Hey!" He said catching her as she stumbled forward. He looked at her with a concerned face. "How late did you two stay up last night?" He helped steady her then let her go, turning his head back to the scene.

LeeAnn furrowed her brows at this new person. "Don't trust him, pup.." She grunted in agreement with her wolf. Her ears perked up as she heard a body hit the ground. She took off in the direction of the sound, bare feet padding against the broken pavement. "Guys!" she shouted, upon the discovery of the cat girl laying in the rubble.

Elizabeth just blinked at Seth for a moment or so, trying to shrug away from him when she had been caught, murmuring something beneath her breath before answering, "We didn't sleep though.." Before again trying to stumble her way towards the house, ignoring the scene behind her completely.

" Your a vampire, now stand up, and drop your weapons." He'd put heavy emphasis on weapons knowing the kid most likely had more than one force for weaponry. " I know your not human, now you've already lied to me. Thats already a bad." He never took his eyes off the vampire, and kept his gun raised. " Someone deal with the Neko, I'll deal with this scumbag."

"Hah," Seth smiled at the thought. Of all the races on this desolate land Neko had fascinated him the most. "I'll help her!" He then dashed toward the rubble, crouching next to the fallen girl. "Well, this is some turn of events. Are you okay?" He then made an attempt to help her up.

"Oh hey now come on, scumbag is not a nice thing to call me! And besides, I'm not a vampire. These bloodstains are from zombies. I use my knuckle dusters to fight them. Oh I mean not my knuckle dusters. Or like I don't have knuckle dusters, forget I said that, all I have is that pistol whose return I would appreciate"

slowly sitting up eyes opening wide at the sight of others alive she stands up slowly shaking a bit dusting her self off some and looks to her new acquaintance smiling a little ignorant of all dangers that could come out of this "h-h-h-hi... A-a-a-are you all real?... or am I just hallucinating..?"

Panicking, she began to tremble. Key and Chaos gathered at her feet squeaking at the body. Fearful of the interaction between a cat and her mice, she picked them up, placing them on her shoulder. She knelt down beside the body speaking soothingly and nudging the girl. "I like her ears" she thought, refraining from reaching out to touch them. "Come on now, hun. Wake up.." Realizing she was bleeding from a gash in her arm, her eyes widened in fear. "Zombie?! Please not zombies..." "Watch yourself.." She frowned deeply at Seth, ready to pull him back if the body began thrashing.
