Despite the depressing aura she’d put around them, and the oblivious red-head just a ways across from on dance floor with someone else. Jace still managed to keep her mood up, shaking her head slightly and eying him with yet even more curiosity when he stepped in-front of her, Raven was glad she didn’t ruin anything by being herself.
Returning his smile with one of her own. Raven didn’t quite get why he didn’t hurry away from her. If someone asked Raven herself, she’d say it’s because of her amazing charm, who would dare to leave her attention? That’s what she’d say. But no matter what she did or with who, it felt like everyone was running away from her. Or maybe she was the one fleeing, afraid to get too close to begin with. Raven couldn’t help but give a genuine smile at his optimism. “Okay, so.. maybe it could be worse.” Giving a half shrug.
Out of the corner of her eye she’d seen beanie Jace, he didn’t look like he was enjoying his company very much. Drake was.. well Raven didn’t know him well enough to label him yet. But it seemed like a good time to apologize for the other day. Some may think Raven might not care about the people she upsets, but when the person don’t deserve it. Well, she can feel guilty.
“I have to go take care of something, so.. that means we’ll have to cut this short.” giving a fake pout, although it was fake. She actually felt sorry for leaving him, Raven would’ve spent more time with him if she didn’t have matters to attend to. “However, thank you for the highlight of my night, cupcake. ” Giving him a wink and a last smile towards him.
Walking up to Drake and Jace, playfully scanning them up and down. Grinning at Drake. “Don’t you both look so handsome?” Putting her hands up in defense. “I don’t mean to interrupt this obviously attention grabbing conversation.” Her eyes catching Jace’s and giving him a weak smile. “Take a walk with me?” Eying him hopefully, this time she’ll actually give someone a choice instead of forcing them to accompany her.
