Raven
Raven barely glanced at him when he sat down next to her. She almost rolled her eyes, he was really trying to make her.. feel better? Is that what he was doing? She shrugged at his words. Yes, he was right. It was stupid. But it bothered her. She furrowed her brows, if he thought that high school romance didn't last.. did he think that his relationship wouldn't work out? She sighed heavily when asked about telling June, Raven kissed her. That had to... didn't that say it for her? Or did she need another hint. Raven wasn't good at this. It was fairly easy for her to get with whomever, a kiss usually said it all. But it was obvious that June was different, and she hated it. Raven didn't know what she felt, even if she did tell her. What was she supposed to say? 'I like you.' Okay.. maybe that's exactly what she was supposed to say.
All of this was just making her angry, Raven kicked a pebble that was oddly on the stairs, how convenient it was there for her to get her anger out. She huffed a breath listening to Jace talk. Raven turned to look at him when he told her she was better than someone's second choice. Surprised as she was, and on the inside doubted it was true. Raven couldn't help but smile. He was trying, and the fact someone actually was trying... She pulled the beanie off his head and placed it on her own. "...Of course it'd be crazy. What sane person would pick anyone else over me?" Giving a half-shrug, putting her hands on the stairs and leaning back, eying him playfully. "Is this the part were we kiss?" Raven raised a brow, waiting for his reaction.
Not even a full second later, she couldn't keep a straight face, and laughed so hard Raven was sure she snorted. Although she might've thought it was embarrassing. What was he gonna do, tell people? "Relax, beanie boy. I'm kidding." Letting the silence fall over them once again. After a few moments she nudged him softly with her shoulder. "...Thanks." Turning to look at him and giving a small grin. Okay, so he tried to make her feel better.
He succeeded.
