Bragi turned his giant head and looked at Nox, his form shrunk until he was a normal fox again and then it changed so that he was in his human form "i-m s-sorry i don't know what that was" he gave hitch a small bow and silently walked over to Nox sitting on the floor next to her, he gave an adorable scowl when he said something about spanking "i said sorry" he mumbled and laid his head on Nox's lap.

Somewhere in the void of space, the rotation of a spiral galaxy was I temporarily interrupted as the darkness sighed heavily.


'I am too old to be trying this hard to fit in, constantly.'


Nox patted Bragi's head and sighed softly.


"Just think before you act, Bragi. Animals may act on instinct, but you are not an animal."

"i might as well be" he mumbled and leaned into her touch adoring the attention "so if Odin did not want me to have my memories then..." he didn't finish his sentence and just sighed "c-can we get on with teaching me to use my powers so that fox thing doesn't happen again" he asked quietly playing with his shirt.

(hitch does not bow. Neither do I. Not out of arrogance, but out of a natural hatred when people insist of authority. That's a part of why both liked trying to  kick the arrogance out of The fox.)

"Yes, I supposewe should do something more productive than talking to Hitch in a huff. I-" Nox was interrupted as her form flickered.


"Oh my. That's... Different. I don't like 'different'." Her form flickered again and the shadows in the room faded somewhat.


"It would seem that I'm not allowed to be here right now. This is happening too soon." Nox's mask disappeared and he illusory eyes wavered. She covered them with her hands as her eyelids began to dissolve.


"Ilim, Hitch watch Bragi for me. I'm needed elsewhere. Unfortunately, this is a phonecall I can't ignore."  The only darkness left in the room was Nox's own shadow.


"I have a sneaking suspicion that this is your fault, Fyre. Be good Bragi." Nox's form faded into darkness that broke apart and floated up into nothingness like embers made of darkness.


The shadows returned to the room but there was something lacking in them.

Fascinating. Hitch turned to the boy, who was still sitting there, having not yet reacted to her leaving. "Control you say? I am a master at Focus if that is what you want? It has aided my powers greatly." He spoke as if he did not notice her leaving. He finished off his drink and signaled for another, along with a cheese and Ham sandwich, just to fuck with the high class kitchen.

(... Okay. I am being a concerned ass to most people here. Maybe hitch just needs someone to decrypt his heart. Maybe he should try this kind of thing. I should find someone intelligent that can understand why Hitch thinks like he does. Do we have a god/goddess of Logic?)

(Yea, would not work. Hitch is far too quiet and reserved when in private. His partner would need to be someone who would not irritate him, would rather sit by a fire and read a book with him, than try and climb a mountain. Alas... I fear that is impossible - flails dramatically!- Also, most of the people are way too aggressive and controlling. He would not appreciate that one bit. Probably tell them politely to fuck off.  xD  )

(Will loves to read books! Granted, many of his lifetimes he has had little access to sophisticated things like literacy. Yes he likes doing adventurous things like sparring a Capoeira partner *shrugs*. But he does like reading. Favorite subject is obviously history. Will irritates pretty much EVERYBODY so I think that would probably fail. Controlling? He's been through Slavery. He's probably the last guy to be feel right controlling anybody. Aggressive? Depends on your definition. Though I guess a guy who scalps his enemies for attempting genocide on his people is not the kind of person hitch would like I suppose)

Bragi whimpered when Nox left and he awkwardly sat in the chair "y-yea i need help controlling my powers i don't have  much control over them, but it seems some of my powers are rooted to anger" he said sadly averting his eyes so he didn't look at the gods.

Hitch, having been waiting for Bragi's response, had by now finished his second drink. The waiter arrived with his sandwich, and having anticipated Hitch's drinking pattern, another drink as well. He again, fled the room as Hitch began to eat the toasted bread with a knife and fork. He was shocked to hear that Ilim decided to join them, if not only Physically now, but also consciously once more. He ignored the boy for a moment, talking to Ilim First. "Beyond the general Updates that I have been sending to your Tablet, not much I am afraid. (He spoke around the small amount of food in his mouth, and he swallowed quickly and dabbed his crumb free mouth with a serviette, mostly out of habit) Uh, sorry. There, was an instance that did prove very entertaining to see. A few security cameras only caught most of the fringes of the interaction, but luckily - it was clear at the time, and I could get the full interaction from one of my observation satellites." He reached into his pocket and pulled out another, similar tablet than before - and gave it to Ilim. On it, queued to play, was a video where Jamie and the others were playing with what was clearly not a human. There were a few files about the lady they fought - but nothing really consequential. Hitch sipped his drink, and continued to eat his sandwich.

After having taken another bite, Hitch looked over at Bragi. "What do you know of mediation?" He sat back in his chair and looked at the boy, waiting for Ilim to watch the interaction.
