he looked up and his eyes were glowing green and he turned in to a fox pup 'not again' he whined and jumped across the table laying in hitches lap and curling up into a ball quivering 'why does this keep happening' he groaned and gave a small bark

(Sorry for the delay, first time in months I get a good and reasonable amount of sleep in)

Hitch looked at the fox... He was going to comment on how 'by lesser he meant beings he considered far less than human' but it seemed that the Fox boy seemed to be in a predicament. The meekness now  seemed highly out of place, considering the past that was now running through Hitch's mind. The problem at the moment was that, should he give the memories back, it was clear that He was going to go back to what he was... no matter how much Nox was going to try and teach him respect, Thus disallowing her a powerful and malleable ally. Or he could not give it back, and give the beast a new chance at life... at the cost of giving Nox a powerful and malleable ally... decisions decisions. While he was pondering this for a moment he was unconsciously stroking the fox's fur. When he realized what he was doing he stopped, and picked up the fox at the neck - like a mother fox would - and put it on the ground. He got up and started dusting off his knees as if they were dirty.

"Unfortunately Nox, it seems that I do... not have the memories. I think it would be... best if you just train him anew." All the while he was staring at the fox that was now on the ground, looking up at him.

Nox reached down and picked up Bragi, placing him on her lap and scratching his chin.

"You mean to tell me that you invaded another God's mind and did not make a copy? For someone like you, I find that hard to believe. Now, I'll give you the chance to tell me the truth. Whatever your reasoning for refusing to assist Bragi and I, I will accept it and bother you no more on this subject matter. Only if you tell me the truth." Nox spoke evenly. She had no need to threaten or cajole him.

Bragi whimpered and leaned into the goddess hand "h-he doesn't have my memories w-what do i do know" he asked not knowing that no one besides animal gods and Lyker could hear him "N-Nox what do we do now" he whined again

@Delacare

(( no i had posted soething before you did but i deleted it.))

Bragi mewled and turned back into human, he was now curled up on Nox's lap "s-so what now" he asked Nox slowly getting off hr lap and standing next to her, after all he was the size of a twenty year old man he was sure she didn't want him sitting on her

@Delacare

((LoL. Them ticket prices. Ilim needs a girlfriend or something. He get more paranoid everytime Nox gets him to remember the truth.))

Jamie stepped out from behind Amanda so that the guy could see him.

"Hey Louis, can we go in and see the birds, please?" He asked timidly and smiled cutely.

"Well, if it isn't little Jamie! I haven't seen you in a few weeks. The birds missed you, Bluejay. Go on in." Louis leaned over the counter and ruffled Jamie's hair.

"Th-thanks. Come on Mandy." Jamie took her hand and dragged her past the gate, in through a restricted area door.

"Right behind you, chimp." She could use some rest after all this. Maybe some tea...

The ground in an alleyway erupted in a plume of fire. After it disappeared Ilim stood, hands in his pockets. He walked out into the streets, whistling without a specific melody. He could feel Hitch's presence somewhere around here, it was a lot more cubical than before. Oh, she was here. That took the spring out of his stride. This presented a quandary. He was here to ask Hitch what he had found out about Jamie, but with Nox here he couldn't really do that. He couldn't leave, Nox was bound to have noticed him by now. There was some strange white and orange presence that waxed poetic, but in a confused way. Now these three were strange bedfellows, what were they doing with Nox? Had Hitch betrayed him? Only one way to find out, he pin-pointed their location and started walking towards them. There they were!

"My, my! Isn't this a curious congregation? All well, I hope.", he said with a grin. All except Nox, of course.

Hitch looked at the scene - "And risk giving away a show of kindness. If you wanted me to be cruel, then fine. (He looked at Bragi) I have your memories - Obviously I lied, I wanted to spare you that, and make you think they were lost entirely, but merciful mother here decided otherwise. I will not give them to you. You do not deserve them." Hitch made sure to try and look as cruel as possible. Yes, the fox did not deserve the memories... The countless horrible things that he did, and the horrible things that made him do them... No, He did not really deserve them - neither as reward or punishment.

@Delacare

Though Nox did not protest the loss of contact, it was obvious that she missed it much more than she should.

"Well I'm sure that Hitch is about to be an ass about this. Oh and hear comes my favorite Fyre." Nox called a chair beside her and motioned for Bragi to sit down again: this was going to take a while.

Jamie led Amanda to the Tower Green. He knew that the ravens sometimes liked to walk around there more than anything. He noticed that Amanda looked to be in need of rest, so he sat her down on a bench and waited for her to collect herself; she didn't need to be frazzled when she met the birds, and there was really no rush. They had made good time and had a few hours to burn.

Nox ignored Ilim for a moment and turned back to Hitch.

"I wanted neither kindness nor cruelty, just the truth, and whatever that may or may not have entailed. I actually never expected you to return his memory if you had a copy. I just simply needed to be sure that there was a copy floating around somewhere. Make no mistake that if I wanted his memories returned, nothing would stop me from doing so. However, a deal is a deal. Unless you are here to make a total ass of yourself, Hitch, you are free to go, or you old wait for Ilim; I have the distinct feeling that he is not here for me." Nox turned and greeted Ilim with a chilled smile.

"Hello darling. Have you come to join us for lunch? I'm afraid to say that you are late. Bragi had already finished his meal, Hitch was just leaving, and I'm on my last glass of wine." She picked up said glass and took a slow sip from it.

Hitch stared at her. Oh come now, trying to play mother to him as well... working so hard to not look foolish. Pretending like she had some authority over Hitch, and saying it in a manner that betrayed no insincerity - all for the little fox. She really was an exquisite manipulator. He might have smiled if he had still that inclination. Ilim arrival made a flush of memories push at his mind again, and he had to close his eyes to suppress all of the torrent. When his eyes opened again, he sat down and gestured to the other. "We are here, aren't we. And I do not think we need fear her ire with the adorable little one present. Perhaps we might get something to eat? ( he looked over at Nox) What might you recommend?"

"w-was i that bad" he mumbled quietly and tears streaked down his face "i-is that why everyone hates me" he sniffles and his emerald eyes glow he turns back into a fox and jumps back onto Nox's lap shivering with sadness  "im a horrible person' he mewled still crying in his fox form.

Hitch's eyes flew to the thing, and a frown developed. "Understanding Individuality as being determined by one's memories - seeing as they form the basis through which all action and consideration are either shaded or determined, and then to place the blame of one - based on one set of behaviors driven by a set of memories - on another, one without said memories and thus entirely different understanding of existence - seems to be utterly illogical. It's blaming an Alzheimer patient for pissing themselves, because they could not remember where the bathroom is. You remember and understand that you have done bad, i.e, you remember the bathroom, but your inability to recall and re-produce the situation exempts your from blame. Thus, you can stop your whining. I am being harsh because I want to irritate Nox. I do not care about you. I am not giving you your memories back because then you will become subject that that original hate once more. Thus forcing me to hate you again... now i can blissfully ignore your existence. (He flicked his wrist to one of the waiters) Get me something mild, and soothing... perhaps a double Bains on ice." He sat back in his chair and rubbed his temples.

"I don't hate you Bragi, and I never will." She picked him up and kissed his head before placing him back in her lap.

"Now, Hitch I don't know what delusions you have about what I will or will not do in anyone's company, but you should lose them once and for all. Excluding a very specific set of boundaries I agreed not to cross, there is nothing that I won't do to achieve my goals. That includes finding a way to destroy you and everything you stand for." She waved nonchalantly at the irony of her statement.

"Yes, I understand that I've already made that threat and you've told me it undermines the warning I gave you when we first met, but it does not. As a mortal who attained godhood, you have a responsibility to your worshippers. Being who I am, I can pretty much do whatever I wish. Unlike you, I don't need to be worshipped or feared; having both is just a bonus." Nox giggled softly. No matter what Hitch said, she would enjoy this conversation.

"Since we are here and being somewhat civil, is there anything that you would like to get off your chest? You have a rebuttal for everything I say, so I'm sure that  there are arguments you'd like to make, for a change."

for some reason this angered Bragi, he jumped off Nox and landed on the ground, as soon as he landed his form changed and he was now a fox the size of a man with a bone mask covering it's face, it's emerald green eyes glowing through the mask and it's sharp white teeth bared at hitch. Bragi did not know that his form had changed he thought he was still a harmless pup, "You are the one person who could help me figure out who i am" he growled out, since he was in this form he could actually talk, his voice was considerably deeper and filled with malice. he stomped his giant paw and growled again

((Sorry kiddo, but I'm trying to form an intellectual relationship for Nox and Hitch to stand on. No interruptions.))

"That will be more than enough Bragi. Sit." Tendrils of darkness rose from the giant Wolf's shadow and bound him to the floor harshly. They left no wiggle room and would tighten the more he struggled.

"I called Hitch to make a request not to command him. He is here to talk, not fight. You will be still until I have deemed you stable enough to control your own actions. You need to think before you act, or you will make the same mistakes you did before. Did you ever stop to think why you were without your memories to begin with?" She paused to let her words sink in.

"Odin has a raven named 'memory'. If he saw it fit to remove yours or simply not restore them, then you cannot be angry with Hitch for not returning what is not his to give." She rapped his mask solidly with a tentacle, her smile replaced with a thin line of contemplation.

'What exactly do you think you are doing Odin?'

Hitch's drink was given to him, the waiter nearly pissing himself as he shakily gave the drink and ran from the scene. Hitch smirked at Nox, not even bothering to rebuttal her, as clearly she would just site either her eternal prowess, or her rather intriguing sense of a paradoxical amalgamation of both an active nihilism and her despondent reservations over a looming dark and final insurmountable universal entelechy. He in turn looked the boy. He sipped his drink, before clearing his throat. When he spoke, it was clearly to Nox. "There there, The boy is being rude. In his attempt to insist on his memories, he seems to be invoking a rage that seems... (he made a show of actually 'remembering' something) Hauntingly familiar. Aren't you going to spank him?" He smirked and took another drink.

Bragi turned his giant head and looked at Nox, his form shrunk until he was a normal fox again and then it changed so that he was in his human form "i-m s-sorry i don't know what that was" he gave hitch a small bow and silently walked over to Nox sitting on the floor next to her, he gave an adorable scowl when he said something about spanking "i said sorry" he mumbled and laid his head on Nox's lap.
