Personality: Johnny is the harsh part of the duo of clowns, he likes making fun of people, and is the most outgoing of the two. He is harsh both in language and in his bodylanguage. He hates his twinbrothers calm ways, and often decapitates him just for fun!
History: His brother and him were orphans, they were left at an orphanage in london in 1870 by their mother. They had a rough childhood, but none of them were very affected. When they turned 18 and were thrown out they joined the Nicholsstreet gang, a notorious gang in east london. They were their elite hitmen. One night they were extracting some money from a lady named Mary. The lady looked at them dumbfounded and suddenly exclaimed that they were her sons. Jay was ecstatic about meeting their mother, while Johnny didn't really care. So when she was killed by the notorious Jack the Ripper killer, he really wasn't moved. His brother on the other hand was devastated. So one day when they had a day of, Johnny used all their money for tickets to a circus. And they have been there ever since!

Eyes: A dark crimson with slit like pupils that can soften into rounder, almond shapes
Hair: raven black, kept medium long and shaven off on her left side
Body Modifications: Silver earrings on her left ear, a stylized thorn rose tattoo on her left shoulder that seems to change and shift into other patterns from time to time
Clothing: Usually a purple tailcoat, black vest and red tie, matching purple pants and black leather shoes. Sometimes with a top hat.
Abilities: Enhanced senses, levitation, hypnosis, being able to turn into mist and small critters like bats and rats
Type of Feeding: Draining human blood
Weaknesses: Sunlight can result in nasty burns and even death after long exposure, wounds to the heart are irreparable
Personality: Tess is much like the mist she's able to transform into. Always shifting, deceiving and never being able to be held in the same place for long. She thoroughly enjoys messing with people and playing tricks on them, be it for her amusement or cruelty when hunting for prey. The line between playful tricks and hunting is blurry and one can never be sure if she's just messing with you or trying to sink her fangs into your neck.
Always improvising and always speaking her mind Tess' can sometimes be a real handful to keep in check when it comes to keeping the circus' facade going yet she's able to attract quite the audience when it comes to her magic show.
Being a Vampire Tess tends to try and get something out of her collogues' own preys, seeing that there will be no shortage of blood and letting it go to waste would be such a shame~
Performance: Magician; Illusions, Magical performance and the like
History: Tess lived her life as the sole child of a prestigious servant household bound to an old british house. Her entire family had been in service to the lords and ladies of this house and so it was that Tess was schooled to become the very pinnacle of English finesse and become a proper servant.
Due to her boyish appearance and her lacking the drive to become a chambermaid her father taught her everything there was to become the very model of a Butler, learning all the different gestures, learning how to carry herself.
And yet her heart lay with the bizarre, often sneaking away to spend time at the local circus, watching in awe as the performers captured the audience with their magical shows.
But this earned her the contempt of her employer's, the ladies of the house taking her as an offense for their noble line.
Not only was she a female butler but her love for the macabre was improper and so it was that they plotted to get rid of her, trapping her in the house's most hidden chambers, leaving her to starve.
There she cursed them, forsook god and her family and beseeched anyone who may hear her to help her.
Her salvation came with the call of a creature of the night, ancient and near its true death Nosferatu, a Vampire, one of the house's oldest inhabitants granted her eternal life, him having watched her grow from the shadows, having been trapped inside the wretched confinements of the house's chambers himself. Being none other than one of the many lords of the house, having suffered a similar fate like Tessalia due to his own love for the stage.
And so it was that on his dying breath one vampire returned to the dust while another rose like a phoenix, taking bloody vengeance on her tormentors before disappearing from the face of the earth....
Only to appear amongst the many performers in the circus of night.

Abilities: She can shapeshift into any animal (a cat being her original form), and she can change her human features. She can also combine animal parts to her human form (like a human with bird wings etc.). She doesn't age and she has enhanced senses.

Looks: Any, her main form is a cat, and she has a human form which she dislikes, so she keeps her cat ears and tail with her human form when she has to be a human. She can also change her human which she loves doing often.

Type of Monster: Revenant (A reanimated corpse with a purpose, typically appears as they were before death, bound to the will of who brought them back)
Type of feeding: Much like other forms of the walking dead, he doesn't need to eat. Though he still will, feeding once he removes the mask. Doesn't eat in front of others, though judging by the leftovers from his feeding, has sharp teeth beneath the mask.
Abilities:
Dead Nerves: Being undead, he's a bit less than responsive to pain. Meaning he could break himself or end up cutting himself multiple times without flinching or stopping. The show must go on, and around here, the show doesn't end until death, or beyond it in his case.
Regeneration: Unless killed in the same way as he was initially, he will regenerate from any wound. This somewhat allows him to do any number of dangerous tricks, so long as he doesn't drown or suffocate.
What performer are you?: Clown (Jester)
Personality: Somewhat insane and unstable, unable to stop laughing. Is rather dedicated to his job, spreading joy and following the orders of his necromancer. Just as likely to be trying to get you smiling as he is to try and gouge your eyes out to juggle them. Also a bit of a pyromaniac, and as such isn't really allowed near it. He also always appears to be cheerful, no matter what he's doing. From simply walking to disembowling himself or others, he's constantly laughing and smiling beneath his skull mask.
History: One of the original clowns of this circus, most of his history has been forgotten save by him and his two performing friends. Born into a cult known as the Cult of Laughter, he was destined to eventually join a circus. Receiving training up until the age of twenty, he was raised to become a Hellequin, a twisted Jester willing to do anything to leave a smile on someone's face, even if he must carve it on them.
For a while, everything was fine and dandy. He fed off his fellow man as he learned of what this circus was, hardly even disgusted by the monsters around him. After all, he was a Devil Jester, a Hellequin. From amazing feats of acrobatics to simple juggling, he did it all. One day, whilst traveling from one location to another, he wound up unconscious in the water, drowned. For some, that would mean the end of his service to both his cult and the circus, but for him, this was not the case. Instead, he was brought back, his purpose of serving the Laughing Man, his god of joy, enough to bring him back as a revenant.
Looks: 5'8" and about 120 pounds soaking wet, he's not a very impressive man. Slim and graceful, he seemed to have the build of a dancer. Wearing the outfit of a Jester of old, he seemed a bit...off. His outfit was red and black, though the red color wasn't really even, possibly blood and dried blood. Over his pale face was a skull mask, symbolizing his eternal service and devotion to the Laughing Man. The only thing visible through the mask was a set of forest green eyes.

Personality: Varina has a very tell it as it is personality, never one to sugar coat anything. Though even because of this Varina can be a total flirt and never tries to hide it. She is unpredictable. And independent. She doesn't take kindly to people telling her what to do. Varina isn't one for loyalty though if someone is in need of help she is willing to help but not without a price.

Bio: Varina grew up in the oceans near the french boarders. She grew up like a typical mermaid, luring men to their deaths and all that. It is tradition when a mermaid or merman gains their full scales that they go out in search of a new 'pack', though some leave and never make it to their new life. Varina was one of those cases but instead of falling in love with a human she took a much simpler route and fell in love with the circus, cheesy I know.
