Realistic or Modern Washington High School: Student Chronicles

Regan continued to laugh at Zori's reaction. "Why not?" she asked teasingly. "Don't you find her pretty enough to date? Plus you two would be the perfect couple: an athlete with a cheerleader. It fits together."

Zori shook his head. "Nah. She is very pretty I'll admit. Beautiful even. But her personality just makes her ugly." He said with a shrug. "I'm not interested in the cheerleaders anyway."

Alex walked out the front door, just as a white jeep with pink rims screeches to a quick halt. Alex unlocks his car, and gets inside, when suddenly the devil herself is there. "Alex! Oh my! What happenned? Are you okay? Who's house are you at?" Alex growled, his head already hurting. "Listen Rennie, don't worry about it." Rennie puffed out her lip, "Im fine. See you later." Alex walked up the drive way of Solana's house. "Fine!" Rennie screams, "you waste your time on some mixed b*tch!!" Alex stopped, and growled. "Shut your mouth you tramp." He snapped, Rennie recoils, tears in her eyes. "Don't you ever come around me again Rennie, I'm done with you, you dumb s*ut." Rennie went back to her Jeep crying. Alex walked inside the house, shutting the door roughly, before walking upstairs without saying a word.

Regan was kind of surprised to hear this. Most of the athletes loved the attention given to them by the cheerleaders but Zori didn't really seem like the type to like them. "So what are you interested in then?" she asked curiously.

Solana had finished placing the order and looked at the two in the dining room. "Pizza will be here in thirty!" She exclaimed happily, smiling at them. She thought she heard yelling outside and stood up. She'd just made her way to her door when Alex had stormed in. She jumped, watching as he slammed it shut behind himself and walked past her.

"Alex?" She asked, locking the door. "Alex!" She called, following him up the stairs. She took his hand, trying to stop him and forced herself in front of him. She looked concerned. "What's wrong?"

"Alright Solana!" Zori exclaimed, sending her a grin before turning to look at Regan.

Zori thought about the question for a few seconds. "To be honest with you.. I don't really know." He said with a small laugh. "I'm interested in a girl who makes me laugh and sees me for me. I don't care what she does or how she looks. As long as she makes my heart beat faster when she's around than she's the one I'm interested in." He said before blushing in embarrassment. "If that even made sense."

Alex's dark eyes were stern, but when he allowed his eyes to meet Solana's, his gaze softened. He squeezes her hands gently, and shakes his head. "It doesn't matter, Ana." He says softly. His eyes locked on hers as they stood alone by the stairs. He smiles gently, admiring her."you're so cute when you worry." He says softly, stroking Solana's cheek gently.

"It made sense" Regan told him with a smile. She noticed Zori blushing and found it kind of cute. "No need to be embarrassed. I think that it's good you just don't like girls because of their looks. I've met a few before that did" she said, looking away quickly.

She blushes at his comment and sends him a small smile. She found herself leaning into his touch.

She then frowns a bit. "No- What's wrong? Don't try and change the subject."

Zori looked over at Regan and bit his lip. "Bad relationships huh?" He asked softly. "I'm guilty of being like that too. I've only recently changed my ways."

"Yeah" Regan said quietly, thinking about the last guy she dated. It was a couple years ago but just thinking about it still made her sad since she was really into hin. "At least you changed." She waited a minute before she spoke again. "What made you want to change your ways?"

Alex smiled gently, "it was Rennie, she drove by and decided to try too talk you me is all." He continued to stroke her cheek, looking into her eyes.

Zori thought about it for a few seconds. He glanced at her.

"... People changed me." He muttered. "Beautiful people."

"Well she sure did upset you..." Solana said softly, bringing a hand up to his.

''Jeeeeeesus..'' Syo brushed herself off as she walked down the street. On her way out of the school, she'd tried to navigate her way through the groups of people fighting, and due to her small and skinny stature, had ended up trampled on and accidentally hit a few times. Her face was still kinda red where she got hit, and she sighed with irritation. Now I'm gonna get bruises, and it wasn't even my fault. Greaat. Syo looked up just in time to see Rennie storming towards her car, tears streaming down her face, and she found herself pitying her. As much as Rennie annoyed her, she didn't think she hated her, and she always found it hard to watch other people cry.. That said, she wasn't sure if she wanted to approach her.

Alex stroked her cheek gently, "I made sure she knew her place. " He spoke with a sturdy, yet gentle tone. He blushed lightly, as he looked down at her. He swallowed hard and pressed his forehead to hers, his breath hot against her skin. He kissed her forehead softly. "Please, Save me a piece of pizza if I'm not out when it gets here." He smiles, before taking his hand off her cheek

Rennie threw her car into drive, And noticed Syo watching her. She sneered lightly, and sped down the street, ignoring the girl.

Kassidy walked her large Pit bull down the street.

Solana blushed brightly when he pressed his forehead to hers, gulping. She bit her lip and closed her eyes when he kissed her forehead, sighing.

She looked up at him and nodded slowly, slipping past him and making her way to the stairs.

"First door on your left. Bathroom." She said, glancing back at him.

Zori glanced out the window. "Oh hey look, it's Syo." He stood, walking over to the for and opening it. "Hey Syo!!"

''..A'ight then.'' Syo watched her drive off, shrugging to herself. She wasn't really expecting anything different, to be honest. ''Hm?'' Hearing Zori, she turned and waved, ''Oh, hey!''

Alex walked to the bathroom, and shut the door. He sighed as he started the water, making it as hot as he liked.

He pulled off his shirt, before touching the large scar that trailed his ribs. He sighes heavily, remembering how he used to be, and the life he had lived. He hangs his head slightly, before noticing the room beginning to steam up. He sighs again, undressing the rest of the way before stepping into the steaming water.

Zori smikes widely. "Hey! You made it though the school fights! I congratulate you!"

Solana sat back down on her couch, glancing over at Zori.

Alex watched the blood and dirt mixed blood rush down the drain. He washes his hair, quickly, then his body. After a bit he turns the water off, the bathroom streamy. He quickly rubs his hair until its damp, then he wraps it around his lower area, stepping out of the shower. He gets dressed quickly in black basket ball shortd and a dark gray v neck

''Aye, but not without getting punched a few times by these knobheads who wouldn't clear a path..'' She spoke with a grin, ''I got accidentally hit a few times when I was trying to squeeze through. What was up with those guys, anyway? You reckon they were the ones who set the fire alarm off?''

..i think i want syo to use british insults more often. its really fun

Zori knew those guys weren't the ones to pull the alarm. It wasZori shrugged. "Probably."

He saw a car pull into the driveway. Turning back he shouted, "Solana! Pizza's here."

"Oh good." She said, getting up from her seat and going to get the pizza. She smiled when she saw Syo. "Hey there! Would you like to come inside?" She asked, sending the girl a smile.

Alex walked out of the bathroom, his bloody clothes in hand, and the towel in the other. He slung it over his shoulder before starting to walk down the stairs. He rubs his hair slowly with the towel, looking to Syo. He smiled weakly, he looked better than he did, but he was a still bruised and fucked up.

''Is that okay with you guys? I don't wanna feel like I'm barging in, heheh.'' She was pretty hungry, now that she thought about it. That, and, even if she wasn't strictly friends with them, she knew Zori and Solana were pretty friendly people. Syo spotted Alex on the staircase, too. She didn't know much about him, but he was alright.

Solana nodded at Syo. "It's fine Syo, come on in." She said softly before turning around. She smiled at Alex. "I'll get you a bag for your clothes." She said, walking into the kitchen.

Zori grinned at Syo, waiting for her to come inside.

She stepped inside, kind of awkwardly (as she normally did when entering someones house for the first time) and looked up at it, impressed. ''Waaaay cleaner than my house, that's for sure.''

Solana smiled at Syo. "Thanks. I try to keep it clean. It hels out a lot when it is." She said, putting the two boxes of pizza on the counter before foing to her cabinet to get the paper plates for them.
