Realistic or Modern Washington High School: Student Chronicles

Regan thought about it for a few seconds then agreed. "Yeah...." she said slowly. "I guess you're right about that." Regan was never just randomly happy, especially since there was no reason for her to. But she seemed to be in better spirits when she was with her friends rather than when she's by herself. "Even when things are as fucked up as they are now, you manage to stay positive." She admired him for that.

Zori smiled at her, giving a small shrug. "I need my happiness in my life. I haven't always been like this. It takes a lot of practice to be honest with you." He said with a small chuckle.

"Really? I can't imagine you being different from that" Regan said with a raised eyebrow then shrugged slightly. "I'm not really one you would call happy so it'd probably have to be a lot of practice for me too."

Zori made a small noise. "I've changed a lot. That much I can tell you. But a little practice will bring you a long way."

Regan wondered how Zori was before but didn't ask. "Maybe you could help me" she joked, playing with a strand of her hair. "I'll need some help anyway."

Zori thought about it for a moment and nodded his head. "Yes of course I'll help you!" He joked. "I'm the best coach out there for you anyway."

"Oh really?" Regan said with a smirk. "That's great because it's gonna be kinda hard to turn me into a happy and positive person."

''Keheh,'' Syo giggled, nudging the nearest person next to her. ''Zori on the P-U-L-L.''

(i have no idea if this slang is used in America too, but it basically just means zori's trying to get regan to like him, or at least, it does in the way that Syo's using the term xD )

Regan heard what Syo said and looked at her, rolling her eyes. She ended up blushing as she looked back at Zori.

Zori laughed at Syo. "Who knows? Maybe I am. Maybe I'm not. You'll never know!" He teased, ruffling Syo's hair. He glanced at Regan, sending her an embarrassed smile.

''I might never know, but I can make a pretty good guess.'' Syo grinned. ''Nah, I'm just messing.'' She reached forwards for another slice of pizza. Man, she was hungry.

Zori rolled his eyes, sticking his tongue out at Syo. "You are a little imp, you know that?" He teased her, getting another slice of pizza himself.

''I'm not little!'' She protested, ''I'm just..'' She paused. ''..It's just that everyone else is abnormally tall.'' Satisfied, she nodded with a grin. ''Yeah, that's it. By the way, what's an 'imp'?''

She laughed at Syo's comment. "Or maybe you're just little" she teased, reaching for another slice of pizza also. She didn't eat anything all day except for one slice and that wouldn't be able to hold her down for long. "An imp is like a small little devil."

"You are most definitely little." Zori agreed with a small grin. "And she's got it right. That is what an imp is, dear imp."

''A small devil? Heyy, I'm not that bad! Or small. But we already established that.'' She took a bite out of her pizza, frowning slightly, but you could tell she wasn't serious.

"We've established that you are small and an imp? Yeah, we did. It's 'kay though. Just accept it." Zori said, his face serious before he burst out laughing.

"Okay fine, you're not that small" Regan said with a smile. "But you're small compared to us." She felt her phone vibrate in her pocket then took it out, seeing it was text message from her mom, wondering where she was. She read it then slid her phone back in her pocket without replying.

Zori snickered at what Regan said, taking a bite o his slice of pizza and making a small noise of content. He glanced over at Regan when she had her phone. "Was that someone important?" He asked her curiously, tilting his head a bit to the side.

''I can't win!'' She held up her arms in defeat. ''This is 2 vs 1!'' She grinned, shaking her head. ''Well, it's a start..'' She said, in response to Regan's comment.

Regan looked up at Zori and shook her head. "It was just my mom wondering where I was. It's no big deal" she shrugged. She smiled at what Zori said and nodded her head. "Yeah don't worry. The time will come for someone to defend you."

''Ah, okay.'' She nodded, remembering she needed to text her dad about her whereabouts, too. ''You should probably tell her where you are, though..'' Syo took another bite out of her pizza.

Alex shrugged, "probably lay down." He remembered Lexi, his phone was in his car. "I'll be back." He muttered, before unlocking the front door and walking outside. He sighs as he opens his car, grabbing his phone from the floor board.

4:50pm

12 missed calls

26 texts from Lexi♡

"Shit..." He mutters, before shutting and locking his car. He walls back up to the house slowly, reading the varies texts that consist of "Alex?" "Where are you?" "Alex, please." "Please answer, I need getting worried!!"

Regan shrugged again, taking a bite of her pizza. "She's probably just wanting to know where I am so I could do something for her." Regan wasn't really that close with her parents so whenever they texted her, it was mostly because they needed something.
