Zori nodded. "I agree with her. Let your mom know. If need be, I'll take you home. No problems there." He said, sending her a small smile then he frowned. "No way. Nope. You can't go now. We're more important." He teased.


Solana sighed, watching Alex walk out the front door. She sat down with the others, picking at her pizza slice before finally taking a bite.

''Well, I just told my dad where I was, so we don't gotta worry about that..'' She looked up. ''Oh, uh, but I won't stay here if you don't want me to, keheh.'' She then watched Alex leave. ''Wow, that was kinda.. sudden.''

Solana looked over at Syo and shook her head, sending the girl a smile. "Oh no, don't worry about that! You stay as long as you'd like. I don't mind. I'm gonna be lonely once you guys leave anyway. My mom's working the nightshift at the hospital." She said before glancing at the door. "Yeah, it was..."

 

[FestiFries]

"Alright fine" Regan sighed. She took her phone back out to send her mom a text telling her that she's at a friend's house then put it back in her pocket. "There, I told her but I'm not gonna leave if she wants me to do something for her."

 

[Tasteless]

Alex sat on the porch and called Lexi, she was pissed... she a spoke frantically for a bit before allowing Alex to explain. After he did she was still irritated, "well, if your sleeping over there make sure you tell me." "Alright. I love you." "I love you too." Then Alex hung up. He stuffed his phone in his pocket before walking back into the house. He smiled lightly at Solana, walking over slowly.

''Ayy, thanks! It's just I don't know you guys too well, I don't wanna seem like I'm intruding or anything.'' She watched Alex re-enter the house. ''Nah, wait, he's back!''

"Thank you!" Zori said happily, ruffling Regan's hair with a smile on his face. "That makes me feel a lot better. I know my mom would have called me twenty times by now if she didn't know where I was." He said, laughing a bit.


"Oh no, never. We can get to know each other some more if that makes you feel better." Solana said with a small smile.


Solana rolled her eyes at Zori before looking up at Alex when he walked back in. She smiled back at him. "Do you still want to sleep?"

 

[FestiFries]

"Well, that's because your parents actually care about you" Regan pointed out with a small smile. "But you're welcome." She glares at Zori in a non-serious way and fixes her hair back to the way it was before.

 

[SpookySneeze]

''Alright! What's your favorite colour, favorite animal, do you like Pacific Rim, and what's your opinion on frogs?'' She fired off about ten questions, keeping a serious face the whole time, before adding, ''Mine are red, frogs, yes, and they're awesome.''

Zori nodded. "That's true." He said before looking at Syo. "Geez! Um... Blue, Jaguar, It's alright, they're slimy."


Solana laughed at Syo before thinking of her answer. "Purple... I like sloths. They're funny. I've actually never seen it and I like frogs because of the movie Princess and the Frog." She said, looking at Syo as she stood so she could walk over to Alex.

 

[FestiFries]

"Turquoise, tigers or dolphins, never seen it also, and frogs are disgusting, sorry" Regan said with a smile as she looked at Syo since frogs are her favorite animal. Then she added, "I can't decide whether I like tigers or dolphins more."

 

[SpookySneeze]

''I'd say dolphins, 'cause they look like they're always smiling, and they're also tougher than they look. Oh, but tigers are cool, too..'' Syo considered it for a few more seconds, actually looking deep in thought about this. ''I have the solution!'' She grinned triumphantly, ''Tolphigers! ..Or, alternatively, tree frogs. They win over everything.''

"What in the world? Tolphiger?" Zori asked, giving Syo a look before laughing loudly. "I've ever heard that before!"

 

[FestiFries]

"Yeah, but tigers are fierce." Regan laughed as Syo came up with a name for the two animals. "Yeah that's a good name for a mix of the two. I like it" she said, nodding her head approvingly.

''It's a tiger, except it's also a dolphin. And it looks- '' She produced a pen from her pocket, and drew on her hand, ''Like.. this!'' What she had drawn didn't resemble a dolphin, nor did it resemble a tiger, and kinda looked more like a dinosaur, to be honest.

Zori looked at the small picture Syo had drawn and tried his best not to laugh. The attempt was futile though because seconds later he was laughing once more.

''And here we have the tolphiger, in it's natural habitat..'' Syo did her best to imitate David Attenborough's voice, waving her hand around to simulate the.. dinosaur thing walking around. ''I added the fire on it's tail to give it more oompf.''

Regan looked at the drawing and raised an eyebrow. "That's...that's a really good drawing of a dinosaur" Regan said, trying her best to hold in her laugh also. "I don't think tolphigers look like that." She looked at Zori and as soon as he started laughing, she broke and laughed also.

Syo managed to hold up her hand in front of them, and respond with a ''Are you serious? This is exactly how I'd envision a tolphiger-'' before she, too, collapsed into laughter.

"I need for you all to leave." Zori said, gasping for breath. "I'm laughing too much ad my sides hurt now. You're both detrimental to my health. I must protect myself."

''This is payback for calling me small!'' Syo replied with a grin, folding her arms. ''I gotta get myself some paper, 'cause I'm not done yet!''

Regan laughed harder, now not being able to control the laughter. She tried to calm down but kept laughing at what Zori said, clutching her sides. "Alright" Regan said to Syo, finally calming down a bit. She wiped a tear from her eye then smiled at her. "Maybe this time you'll actually draw it so it looks like a tiger and dolphin and not a dinosaur."

 

[Tasteless]

Alex laughed at Syo's drawing, he looked to Solana. "Kinda. Maybe." He smiled lightly and looked into her eyes as she approached him.

''I'll give it a shot!'' She re-drew it, this time on the back of her hand. The outcome looked more like a tiger-dolphin fusion, but.. Well.

Solana giggled at her three friends joking over the picture of the new animal they'd created. She looked up at Alex. "If you want you can rest first and then I'll save you some food. It's up to you though." She said with a small nod.


Zori shook his head. "Stop while you're ahead Syo." He said, laughing.
