The Blackshield nodded.
"I have not been fighting, but investigating one of the hive cities that suddenly went silent."
The Blackshield pointed west of his location to where his investigation was.
"It would seem that someone believed that it was a good idea to place Eldar spiritstones in a treasury. And, well, you know how tenacious the Eldar are when it comes to recovering anything that is as much as remotely related to them. And from the looks of it, the Eldar went for a mechanized approach upon recovery on the spiritstones."
Piotr took a moment, clearly with another set of news.
"On other news, I discovered something when I walked out of the treasury. As I walked out, I found multiple Eldar corpses that were not there before. I chose to investigate, and found foul parasites crawling around the corpses. A closer investigation reveals that the parasites burst out of wounds from the dead Eldar."
"Therefore, their attacker is one of two options. One, which would be the accursed Death Guard..."
Piotr stood still for a couple moments, slightly enraged at even the slightest mention of the Death Guard.
"...and the Dark Eldar."

"Brother? Are you alright?"

The Blackshield was slightly confused by the lack of response.
"Brother? Brother?"
Eventually, the marksman shrugged.
"Brother, I am headed off to another desolated Hive City to investigate the cause of its desolation. If anyone asks why I am gone, explain that I am investigating. May the Emperor be with you."
With that, Piotr Vidixx headed off.

Within time...
The Blackshield was investigating the streets of the desolated Hive City.
