War of the Three Gods [Inactive]

Lucifer's stance weakened on hearing Layla's voice. "Don't soil them!" he shouted with a grin. "Like what you seeeeeeeeeee?" he shouted as he felt a sudden pain in his belly. "Oww! That was cool!" he said as he let out a burp. "Eating was a bad idea I guess." he added as he returned to his stance.

Calvin leapt back smiling at Lucifer. He then ran back to him landing on one hand, spinning with a kick

Lucifer simply stepped away from Calvin, wearing a dumb smile on his face. 'Hmm. He has technique.' He could clearly see the advantage he had as Calvin would take time to retrieve but Lucifer skipped it. He moved back, waiting for Calvin to stand and come at him again. Lucifer was getting excited. Fighting felt good. He wondered why he stopped as he hopped on his legs, waiting for Calvin to attack. He had his chest cavity covered from his boxing stance. 'Okay, boy. Now, find my weakness.' he thought as he glared at him.

'Wrong.' thought Lucifer as he blocked out the punch with his right hand. Involuntary reflexes overtook his control and Lucifer landed a left hook on Calvin's face. It was upon impact that Lucifer had realized what he had done. Lucifer backed up hopping on his feet. "I'm sorry. Didn't mean to hit your face, mate." he said as he hopped in his stance.

"That was a hard hit" Calvin said with a gleeful laugh wiping the blood off his lip. He ran back to Lucifer on the offensive.

Layla rolled her eyes a Lucifer's comments, setting the pants to the side as she stood and dusted off her skirt. As much fun as it was to watch two people beat each other, Layla felt as though her time was being wasted there. She would have had a much better time if she could get some sparring in as well but it seemed the only good partner was teasing a child who was still wet behind the ears.

"Call me when you've finished playing with the small fries, Lucifer." Layla called with a wave over her shoulder as she headed back toward the dorms. She felt like taking a nap.

(I'm logging off, see ya'll when I get back on in the morning).

Lucifer hopped away from the boy's moves. A smile came across his face. He was having fun. He heard Layla's comment and he wondered why she underestimated Calvin. He had technique but he needed to learn more about openings. "Wait. Wait. Wait." said Lucifer as he stopped and put his hands in front of him. Taking back his stance, he said "Look. There are two openings. My hip and my underarms. I can easily protect my hip though." Moving his right hand, Lucifer pointed to his left underarm. "With your right hand place a Shovel hook to my here. As a counter effect, my left arm gives out an opening. Immediately use that opening and give a crushing blow to my ribs." Retrieving his position, Lucifer said "Now do that. Go slowly and with less force. Okay?"

"Alrighty" Calvin responded as he landed the blow softly. "Lucifer! Fight him. Give it your all, I don't care what you're thinking about in terms of not doing so. Give it your all, that's an order." Deus boomed out as he stood on a balcony above the training ground.

This was a problem. A really, really big problem.

When had this all began? Alk asked herself as she fell back to the hard mattress of what was supposed to be her bed. The dorm room she'd been brought to and locked in rather unwillingly was small, bare, and dark. Worst of all, it wasn't even hers. Nope, her assigned dorm room was in Oceanside, in the lovely academy of Maria. How Alk had ended up here, at Diaboli's, was far, far beyond her.

Had she gotten on the wrong bus, or did the driver just make a mistake? She knew she should have taken up her friend's offer to drive her, but at the time she had refused. Too much of a hassle. Her own parents couldn't drive her because it was too far away for her mother to bring her little brother along and her father had work. Either way, she'd ended up in a place far worse than a cramped car with her brother.

Diaboli's Bastion, once the grand Ludus Academy. What happened to this place? All that Alk had seen during her quick escort to this awful room were the dark, empty hallways of a crumbling castle. The people she had seen, her escorts, two men, had scowled and didn't say a word the whole time. They didn't take her bags either. Well, she didn't want to be here just as much as they didn't want to deal with her.

Lucifer's eyes widened on hearing Deus' voice. He looked up and noticed the God standing at the balcony. He was just trying to train Calvin but he didn't dare tell that to Deus or defy him. Lucifer merely nodded. "That's the God Deus." he said to Calvin in a whisper as he moved to his karate stance.

"Is that someone? Is there someone here?" a voice asked Alk from the other side of the room. A young man lay on the other side of the room. Wearing nothing but tattered pants, his body scarred and dirty. He faced the wall with a cloth wrapped around his eyes.<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2014_05/ImageUploadedByTapatalk1401353870.776978.jpg.af13741113f01d7814cd31a4e79bf3b2.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="19256" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2014_05/ImageUploadedByTapatalk1401353870.776978.jpg.af13741113f01d7814cd31a4e79bf3b2.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p> (imagine the cloth around his eyes lol)

"Who?" Calvin asked curiously. He went for another low kick shortly after

Alk nearly screamed; she was so befuddled as to her own problems she hadn't even noticed the boy on the other side of the room. She sat up to look at him in his poor state. Who was he, her roommate? What had happened to him?

"Uh- um- yeah. I'm Alk..." She trailed off, not knowing what to say to the wounded boy. "Um, are you okay? I mean, do you need help or something?"

Lucifer moved his leg away, reducing the impact of the kick when it made contact. "The man at the balcony." hissed Lucifer. "We'll talk later. Let's finish this." Lucifer added. Overtime, Lucifer learned that it wouldn't be good for his health to anger Deus. Deus' attitude played an important role in Lucifer's change. He never wanted to be like that man..Erm.. God. He regained his composure and waited for Calvin to come at him, before he would finish this match for both their sakes.

Calvin waved casually at Deus. "That's enough, we'll keep him on board. For now" Deus said S he walked away

"Oh, no help necessary, I've been here for a while. Are you alright? It's been a long time since I've spoken to anyone" the stranger replied to Alk

"I'm fine, thank you." Alk suddenly became conscious of her blatant staring. She blushed and looked away. "If you don't mind me asking, how long exactly have you been here?"

Lucifer sighed and relaxed his muscles. "Damn." He was relieved that he didn't have to attack the boy. He smiled at the boy. "That was close. Do you want to continue or get some rest?" he asked as he adjusted his boxers.

"I'm not certain. I've lost track of time." The stranger said as he sat up.

"I'm gonna look around the place, wanna come to?" Calvin asked as he stretched

Alk nodded, only to realize that he couldn't see her with the bandages around his eyes. She hated this feeling of not knowing what to do, what to say. She stood up, opening her bags. Her hands were shaking from something akin to either exhaustion or frustration. "Do you want something to eat? I'm sure my mom packed some chips or something in here..."

Lucifer walked to where Layla had left his clothes upon realizing that Calvin didn't intend to continue fighting. As he put on his pants, Lucifer replied. "Sure. I need to get you to fill a form and give you your dorm room key anyway. I'll tag along." he said as he put on his shirt. "Okay. Let's go!" he said as he led the way to the office administration room.

Calvin followed him with an amazed look at the fortress.

"No, it's fine. You'll need it more than I. Tell me about you" the young man requested
