War of the Three Gods [Inactive]

"Now there.." Deus said and hugged Lucifer like a son in an uncharacteristic action. "I didn't know how to tell you Lucifer, we will stop him for this, I swear to you. I need you still, as a leader my son". Maria ran to them crying, "Lucifer, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, don't hate him, please don't hate him. He's hurt, he's not well."

Helen:

It was clear why her father wanted her to have the child of the insane god Filius. The lad was quickly loosing his mind as time passed and Helen had no doubt it was due to her father. Still it was amusing how emotional he was over a mortal.

When Dues and Maria stepped in it was clear Helen's time had finally come. Following silently after the two, she watched the goddess put her son into a room and leave.

"So this is how they treat gods here?" She asked, appearing inside Filius's room. "Somehow this doesn't seem very... Free." She lounged on his desk, stating at him across the room.

"Didn't you escape Diablo to gain freedom?"

Amare:

"What are you doing here?.. What do you want from me?" Amare asked looking over to her out of the corner of his eye, sitting on the bed.

Lucifer pulled himself out of Deus' arms and ran. He ran through the rubble and kept running. He couldn't think about anything clearly. All he could see was Anise. He couldn't believe it. She was his. She would still have been if it weren't for his stupidity. Lucifer kept running. He ran through the streets of the city, shouting like a mad man. "Diaboli!!! I shall get to you! You shall face my wrath!!" Lucifer turned into a mindless person. He couldn't think straight. He would have challenged all the Gods in the mad rage that filled his blood.

Layla:

She sat in a circle of rubble, covered in dust and aching from the rain of rocks that had showered her. Still, despite her pain it didn't hurt as much as the way those around her completely ignored her. Getting to her feet, Layla left. She didn't want to have to see it, the absolute unimportant existence that she was.

Instead she would have a better time disappearing from that place. So that's what she I did, Layla slipped out of the fortress and disappeared.

Deus ran to Lucifer, "Take a moment Lucifer, I realize you're angry but you aren't stupid boy. You never were, you're my ward dammit. I'm angry as well but no one will benefit from you being rash."
Calvin:

Calvin snuck out of the hospital to find out what all of the commotion was via wheelchair. He saw Layla wandering and wheeled to her. "Layla! Hey!" he shouted happily

Helen:

"What so I want...?" She asked with a laugh. "I suppose I'm just bored, thought I'd comfort another eternal being." She climbed from the top of the desk gracefully. "After all, in the end it's only going to be use gods that outlast everyone else."

"Leave me alone!" shouted Lucifer. "This is all your fault! If you hadn't banished your son none of this would have ever happened. Then you built an academy. For what? In his memories? She wouldn't even have known me if it weren't for that darn school." he said gritting his teeth. The school which was Diaboli's current domain. Holding the amulet that lay in his pocket, Lucifer disappeared into thin air. He went to a cliff he had seen nearby the fortress. He sat at the edge staring at the sky as tears ran down his face.

Layla:

She paused momentarily. "Calvin," she mumbled. "I'm leaving for a few days. I'll be back but just in case anyone asks. I have..." She looked toward the exit. "Personal issues to sort out."

Amare:

Amare sat thinking of what she had said on a deeper level. Maybe she was right, maybe that was all that mattered. He ran his hand through his long white hair as he stood and walked to her. With the pain still in his expression he kissed Helen passionately, it was impulse it seemed.
Calvin:

"You could always get food with me, I had a big day, and haven't been able to talk to anybody about it. I fought a bunch of demons, a really mean guy. A ummm.. Demon Lord, well that's what he called himself. We can eat, and talk about how much stronger we're gonna get once I get these stupid casts off"

Lucifer rubbed his face and saw makeup in his hands. He realized it quickly. He still looked like Gerard. Wiping his tears, Lucifer got up from the cliff. He caught the amulet and transported himself to Deus academy. 'I am going to do what you never had the courage to do, Deus.' he thought in his head as he teleported from the cliff to the entrance of the academy. He walked in quickly and his eyes fell on Layla. Her body was gashed and she was hurt. Lucifer ran to her. "Layla?" he shouted as he headed in her direction. He noticed Calvin next to her in his wheelchair but he was worried about her condition. In his rage he had forgotten about her. "Are you alright?" he asked as he neared her and it didn't seem like she was.

Layla:

"Sorry, Calvin." She said, a weak smile falling over her face as she turned. "Maybe next time. When things are a bit less... Complicated." That was when lucifer appeared, finally sparing some shred of attention for her. She brushed past him waving over her shoulder at Calvin, leaving all her things at the fortress and telling no one where she's really going.

Helen:

She chuckled through the kiss, breaking apart so that she could look over the god. "Don't be to impatient." She whispered gently, "we have time. All to much of it."

Lucifer ran behind Layla and caught hold of her forearm tightly. "Layla, wait. Don't go please. I am sorry. I truly am." he said as he stared at her black hair. "Please. Don't leave."

Calvin sat watching the two quietly, he wasn't smart but he knew when not to talk. He stared into the sky waiting till their moment was finished.

Layla:

She didn't turn when lucifer caught her arm. There wasn't really much if a point, not when so much conflict was washed over her face. Instead she pulled her arm from his grip, collecting herself so that when she spoke her voice didn't shake.

"Don't touch me. Don't follow me. And don't speak to me." She said, "have fun with memories of your dear Anise and leave me the hell alone."

Layla then left. Pulling the hood of her jacket up and vanishing into the crowd of people come to see what had happened.

(Time skip to the next day)

Amare awoke in his bed turning on his side, expecting Helen to be there almost, but was not surprised when she was not there. He rose, staring out his window as he heard a knock on the door. It was young Pippin, "Pippin, tell Lucifer I want to see him, bring him here please" Pippin ran hastily to find Lucifer, Pippin was upset by the damages done, his home was lost, but most of all he was worried for Lucifer, someone the child rather idolized.

Lucifer watched as she slipped through the crowd. He would do as she wanted. Besides, it would be safer for her that way. He couldn't think about Layla facing the same fate as Anise. Lucifer turned on his feet and walked away as hurt ran through his head and heart. Things were finally getting better for him when it all came stumbling down. 'Guess we Wrights have a curse after all.' he thought as he walked into the fortress.
(Next Day)

Lucifer sneaked around Deus anteroom, waiting for the perfect opportunity. He had been at it all night, not sleeping for a bit.

Lucifer glared at the boy in anger. He wondered what Amare had to say to him. Lucifer gave a gaze towards Deus' anteroom before nodding at the boy and began walking, expecting Pippin to guide him. Lucifer had retrieved his traditional scowl and he wore it as he walked down the passage.

Pippin walked in front leading Lucifer "I.. I know it doesn't mean too much, me just being a messenger sir, but I know times are bad.. I'll do whatever you ask to help.." Pippin said nervously as he led Lucifer to the door as he bowed.

Lucifer eyed the boy from head to toe still wearing his scowl. Lucifer realized he could use the boy to his advantage. He nodded at him before opening the door. "What do you want?" asked Lucifer bluntly as he looked at Amare.

"To say I'm sorry. I don't know what's going on with me. It's just all of that, all of this. You're my friend, my only true friend, I can't hold on to it Lucifer, I can't control anything, I can't" Amare said as his eyes filled with tears.

Helen:

When she had woken, curled under the blankets of Filius's bed, Helen had almost stayed. It hadn't seemed like a good idea though, not when it was completely out of her characteristics to do so.

Instead she climbed from the covers and dressed in the clothing that had been discarded the night before. When she as clothed she left, sneaking out and strolling down the hallway until she had cleared the wall.

Helen then transported herself to her fathers throne room. Lounging on his throne as she waited for him to arrive.
