Las Vegas Nevada, the seedy underbelly of America. When thinking about Vegas most people's minds will conjure up images of gambling, prostitution, and drunken idiots. What they don't know is that the city is being pushed on by the Mafia. The mob has recently started operations in the city and the police are not happy about it. In an effort to stop the criminals from getting a strong foothold in their town, the local cops have called in some serious backup: the FBI.
This partnership is not loved by everyone as jurisdiction arguments arise fairly commonly. Some local police and detectives feel like they should be the ones protecting their city, while the FBI would like the locals to step out of their way so they could do their job more effectively. Both sides however recognize that each has their own value. The locals know the streets and the people in the area, and the FBI has the training and the clout to get serious work done. They have to get past their differences to effectively combat the criminal empire that is quickly growing.
With the police and the FBI working together the Mafia has it's work cut out for it, but they are not backing down. The mob that is pushing in on the new turf is a specialized group sent from the successful Chicago mafia. They know what they are up against and are not worried. The new Don is the child of the Chicago Don and so they have a pretty big shadow to step out of. Currently the city's drug game is run by a small outfit that has loose ties to the Mexican Cartel. That is one of the first targets for the mob. They also have to deal with a very well organized street gang that has a monopoly on the city's prostitution ring. Both are problems for this new sect of the mob and need to be dealt with.
Whether you fight for the side of justice or you want to get your hands dirty for a big payoff, one thing is clear. A war is brewing for the streets of Las Vegas.
