Eventually Jade's troubled mind quieted down and she let sleep take over. Soon she was snoring gently, but it was easy to hear the raggedness in her breath.

Kage filled it with some of the water he had collected, though he was sure to leave some for later to avoid leaving her alone for to long. He then began adding selected portions of the herbs as well as some mint to add flavor.

After a while he had added everything he required and by this time he was just letting it sit. Glancing over his shoulder he peered towards the wagon deciding to check on Jade during the wait. Stepping inside, he kneeled down next to her placing his hand upon her forehead to search for a change in her temperature.

When he touched her forehead Jade roused from her sleep. she looked up at him through sleepy eyes. "Kage." she whispered gently looking up at his hand on her forehead.

Kage paused a moment, before removing his hand from her forehead. "Sorry, did I wake you up?" He questioned.

"Yeah, but don't feel bad. I've slept long enough anyways." she said softly, weary of her nightmares.

"Alright, still... I apologize" Kage said, glancing away for a small second. "Anyways... the medicine will be done in a minute."

"A-Alright." she said softly looking around. She felt a little better than she had awhile ago, but was still feeling pretty bad.

Kage sat himself beside her, and rather close to her. He was inviting her to come nearer if she wished, seeing as they did have a couple minutes to pass.

Jade scooted closer to him and laid her head on her on his chest. She smiled and closed her eyes and took pleasure at the sound of his heart-beat.

Kage grinned lightly and softly wrapped an arm around her. He still did like to have her near, though still he was concerned over her condition. It provided him comfort and a bit of ease with her this close, and he hoped it did the same for her.

Jade snuggled closer to him, loving the scent of his clothes. Slowly she wrapped her fingers around his, hoping he wouldn't mind.

He didn't mind her actions, grinned softly as she felt her fingers intertwine with his. Leaning closer to her he placed another small kiss upon her forehead.

The soft affectionate kiss gave Jade pleasure and made her smile. Her cheeks were blushing faintly as she felt a little shy, but loved being around him as well.

He wished that she would soon get better, he hated seeing her in such a condition and he did hope that she wasn't hurting anymore. He knew the medicine would finish soon, yet he didn't want to separate from her.
