Poor Dodger. All he wants is friends and money and Tora's downright determined to crush that. The slightly icy stare from Jazz doesn't help. Tora's just making sure all the cute girls in his life know he's taken. Dodger has a bit of a reputation as a partyboy, not the type that will sleep with anyone, just the type that will befriend anyone, then if they want to, sure why not sleep with them? Tora wants to make sure that friendship doesn't turn out into anything but friends. She's most worried about Jasmine, Leia, and Esme. So she's strutting her feathers lettiing those girls know that "MINE MINE MINE BACK OFF MINE!" Or something. She's a tad possessive. Comes from her past. She doesn't want to like another guy and him just turn around and use her. Which is why she's so attracted to Dodger. He wouldn't sell out his friends for any amount of money. He also doesn't give a flying rat's ass if Tora's family were heroes. He just likes Tora for who she is, he never had any romantic inclinations save "I wish I had someone like you." and that set Tora off on a road to Dodger love.

I think that's one of the main reasons why it threw Jazz for a little loop cause she can't say anything , especially when she's a captain and professor and she respects them. So in a sense she's angry and she could only take it out on Rodger and not Tora. Jazz doesn't see Rodger in that light but she has been in that position to know what it's like for people to try to push othet's out of her life becuase of her status.

What's funny is a mild annoyance turned into something much bigger all because Dodger opened his stupid mouth and said Jasmine was pretty. If he had not monologued to himself Tora wouldn't have started a pissing contest.

If Tora started doing that she would have lost all respect for her tbh. Rodger must be all confused and emotional
 
Not a literal pissing contest. More like....hmmm I'm not sure there is a good non anime moment to explain. Ever seen Ah my Goddess? Well she just says like yeah I'm his goddess and though everyone takes it the wrong way. In this case she's claiming him because of Dodgers past and to let the girls he likes or likes to taunt know he's not up for grabs anymore. No coffee and no sleep make Ritzy poor communicator.
 
And yes Rodger is. He's holding it together but doesn't know why Tora picked him, but he'll be damnned if he refuses an offer an offer of true love. He may banter with Tora but he is genuenely fond of her. He vaguely remembers that she was screwed over but can't quite place where he heard it from. (Hence the backstory) he can't remember the details but wants to restore her faith in love. So if she loves him then he will save her. It's funny they are both screwed up. They need Junis as the voice of reason. Esme might be able to help too. She's a psych major.!

After 3 cups of coffee I live again! Reading my news now. Broke down and bought an e cig. Never start smoking kids it'll dominate your life! Life has been crappy lately but the new meds should fix that. One med was killing me so they are taking me off it. I never imagined I'd be 30. I should have taken better care of myself.
 
Pix lives!!! My mouth feels like sandpaper. Hope you dont mind that Quaz basically stole Leias laptop and replaced it with a newer one. He's always updating computers. She might not have even noticed except her new machine runs better. Lol.

Considering she studies computer science she probably noticed xD
 
Then Quaz probably likes her more than the average student. I forgot that was her major. So maybe it was Quaz being nice in a rare show of kindness to a fellow computer geek. :3
