INTRODUCTION PT. 1
Here you are, living in a cruddy apartment, with your parents, or some other residence you really need to escape. You've tried looking around for a new place, but everywhere seems to be too expensive, too far from where you work, or some other excuse you're using to not try harder. That's when you see one of the many flyers posted all over the town.

SEPIA SHARE HOUSE
Sepia Share House.jpg
The last residents of the Sepia Share house are moving out, making new residents needed to keep the share house open. As a resident you will have all the amenities you may want, so long as everyone helps pay for it of course. Rent is low, again due to everyone pitching in, and for those who have trouble socializing, a share house would be a wonderful start to helping you become more social. If that's something you want that is. If you're interested, take one of the tabs and contact me ASAP.

Sincerely,
Máire Ceallaigh

You think about it for a few minutes, weighing the pros and cons of living with a bunch of strangers under the same household, but you ARE pretty desperate to move. Despite whatever cons you came up with, you decide to take one of the tabs and call Máire later when you got home. All that mattered was that this would be a new start for you, and who knows, maybe you'll come to love the people you're soon to be living with... or maybe just one person in particular... or maybe you'll end up moving back in with your parents because you'd rather suffer the embarrassment than live with your enemy.

The Start of New Relationships She had spent the last three days cleaning and preparing for the new tenets which took a toll on her, but as she looked around she felt rather proud of herself. Máire giggled lightly. "I can't wait, I do hope everyone gets along." Looking at the time she gasped in surprise, "Oh dear, I didn't even realize the time! I need to start lunch before they show up!" Despite her rush, she did take it slowly, or at least she was moving as fast as she could without bumping into anything like usual. It had been a few years since the accident, but the lack of proper vision made everything take a little more effort. Never did it stop Máire though, as usual her pseudo-families came first. She heard a knock at the front door, but she couldn't tear her attention from the food. "Come in! The door is open!"

The first to step in was Cameron Vikarsson, one of her new tenets. She had never met any of the tenets in person yet, but not many people came to the share house other than whatever tenets there may be, Máire herself, or the occasional former tenet visiting. "Hi, I'm Cameron." Máire looked back at him and smiled, "It's wonderful to meet you Cameron. You can set your bags down wherever for now, I'm making lunch right now." Cameron set his bags down by a nearby couch and looked around the place. "So this is a share house? More spacious than I thought... that's cool I guess." Máire giggled, "Yes, it's quite a large place isn't it? Do you mind helping me with lunch? The other tenets are sure to be showing up any minute now one by one. Plus I'd appreciate the help." Cameron shrugged, "I don't see why not. I live here now anyway right? Wouldn't be very fair to leave everything to you." Cameron joined Máire in the kitchen and the two of them continued preparing lunch for the whole share house. "So, what are we making anyway?" Máire giggled once more, "We're going to keep things simple today. If I had started lunch earlier I'd have something properly planned. That being said, we're having chicken alfredo with steamed vegetables." Cameron chuckled, "That's quite a lunch for being unprepared."

Eventually they managed to finish lunch, and surprisingly nobody had quite showed up. Putting the food in the oven to keep warm, the two of them started chatting while they waited for the other tenet to arrive.

Derrek Mustang
Derrek was on his way to the new place that he was going to stay. His whole life was packed up in the back of his Mustang. His mind was on the events of the past few days. Being kicked out of his old apartment due to problems that he himself did not commit. He bit his lip with each passing minute. How his ex-friends had done that had caused him to have to be kicked out. They angered him so. He had turned into the house's parking lot. It was small, but it was something new. He turned the key in the ignition off and slowly got out of his car.

After a few seconds, he had grabbed a couple of his clothes and walked up to the door. He slowly opened the door. "Hello?" He called out before walking in. "Apologies on just walking in... The door was open. I'm Derrek, Derrek Mustang." He said as he set his bag down in the living room. "I'm supposed to meet with a Marie?" He said holding the piece of paper in his hand. It was from the flyer that he had found the day before.

The night prior he had actually slept in his car. It had sucked, but it was the reality of not having a place to stay. He hadn't shower since he had left his old apartment. So the first thing that people might notice is the fact that Derrek was rather foul. The second thing was the giant bags under his eyes. Sleeping in his car had given him a restless sleep that showed on his face. He would also rub his neck as the driver seat that he had slept in was rather uncomfortable.

A red Jaguar rolled up along the curb, comming to a slow stop before the passanger side door opens. From the car, a man in well-shined shoes and a fine plaid suit stepped out, leaning into the window and saying something to the driver before waving to them and walking down the sidewalk to the porch. He opened the door and strode in, hands his trouser pockets, and looked around the foyer with a faint smile on his lips. Spotting a woman standing around seeming to greet those arriving, Ken inserted himself in the midst of group.
"A Miss Ceallaigh, I presume?" He asked, taking her hand and giving it a hearty shake, "Ken Kingsley, it's a pleasure." The man pulled a buisness card out of his breast pocket and handed to her, "Lovely house you have here, absolutely beautiful."

Lucas Wise

It had been a couple of weeks since Lucas had first applied to live in the share house, and had only recently gotten the news that he would actually be living there. The news had come as a pleasant surprise given the young man's recent run of bad luck with his parents, but he didn't hesitate to follow up and confirm his interest. Now the day had come that he would be officially moving in, which excited Lucas truthfully. He had woken up pretty early in the morning, packing all of his things into an old duffle bag he had traveled with even before moving in with his friend Audrey. Now he would be leaving her place, stuffing all of his belongings back into this same bag and going on with his journey.

He said his goodbyes to his beloved friend, expressing his thanks for helping him out before he set off to walk on to the house. Lucky enough for him, he only lived about a twenty-minute walk away from his destination, which was nothing for him. He slung his duffle bag over his shoulder in one big motion, walking at a steady pace toward the house.

When considering the housing it had never fully occurred to Lucas that he was actually living in the same house as many other people. Come to think of it, it didn't cross his mind once, which was pretty foolish considering that was the whole point of the place being so cheap. Though he didn't feel himself obsessing over this still. He figured everyone else would just either stay to themselves or be cool enough to interact with. If they did turn out to be unbearable, he could always distance himself. This reassurance calmed what little concern he had and focused back on his path. He could tell he was close.

There it was. The house pretty sizeable, even more so than what he had seen in ads. He approached the house with a small smile on his face. Lifting his arm, he tapped on the door lightly, then tried the knob, noticing the door was unlocked. He entered, approaching the group that was forming. Immediately his nostrils flared, picking up a rank scent. He looked to one of the men, who looked exhausted. This was a bit disheartening given he would be living under the same roof of this man, but he dismissed it since he wouldn't have any idea what he had gone through. He switched his attention to the woman, giving a polite nod, "My name is Lucas Wise. I'm a resident as well."

The New Arrivals As she was speaking with Cameron, a new face stepped through the door, introducing himself and asking for her, holding up one of her many flyers. "It's a pleasure to meet you Derrek. I'm Máire And this here is Cameron Vikkarson, another of the tenets that'll be living here." Cameron held up one hand lazily in greeting "Sup."

Suddenly another two boys appeared, one handing her a business card. "Please, call me Máire, there's no need for formalities at home after all, and thank you." She slid the card into her pocket with a smile and greeted the other boy as well. "Welcome Lucas, I'm glad you made it!" She spotted another boy who had yet to enter, but she was sure he'd join them when he was ready to.

Standing up, she turned to the group of men as she walked to the kitchen stove. "Lunch is ready for those of you who are hungry. Cameron here helped me make chicken alfredo and steamed vegetables." Opening the oven she grabbed hold of the large pot of saucy noodles, bringing them to the table along with two more trips for the vegetables, plates, And silverware. "Please, dish up, there's more than enough to go around, and don't worry about running out for the other tenets." With another big smile across her face, she held out her arms and said, "Welcome to the Sepia Share house!"

"Welcome to the Sepia Share house!"

A black Toyota appears in front of the house Ramses exits the vehicle and goes to the trunk taking out 2 bags he throws the one full of clothes onto his shoulders and takes the other one and rolls it to the ground he then closes the trunk and takes a look at the house. He stared at the place for a bit before going up to the door knocking then he twists the knob causing the door to open he then enter the house seeing a small group, he sighed with a bit of relief now knowing he was at the right house, he then notices the food at the table and looked at it as if deciding he would like to eat it or not. He then just looks up at the person he presumed was the owner as he then began to speak
" Umm, hey i am Ramses which way is the room area again?" he says this really wanting to get rid of these heavy bags first before doing anything.

Ellie weaved through many people leaving her bus and found the house she was supposed to be at. Sepia Share. That was its name. Ellie personally found it kind of bad, but she'd never say that out loud. The girl found a small group already there.

Fuck.

Her heart start beating faster. What would they think if they saw her come in late? Oh god, what if they thought she was always like this? What if they thought she was messy? What if they didn't like her? She found herself more and more nervous as she came closer and closer to the people in front of the house. She didn't want to be standing alone though. She didn't want to be by herself. Ellie walked faster and faster towards everyone. She caught sight of Ken. Relief washed over her. The girl rushed over to him.

"Ken!" she exclaimed. "You're here!"

She looked over at a woman (obvious owner of house). She'd held out her arms and said a welcome. There was food on a table. Was that for everyone to eat? Ellie felt a bit hungry. Was she allowed to eat?

Despite arriving much later than the others, the female was walking leisurely. She had a small designer sling bag strapped on her shoulder while she was dragging her luggage through the street. Her other hand was preoccupied pressing her phone close to her ear. "Noooo." She whines in a spoiled through the phone. "It's okay." She answers. "I know you're busy and I also had a photo shoot early this morning." She adds.

"No, it's really fine. I didn't want to burden you." She replies. "The share house will be okay." She answers the receiver. The response made her burst in laughing, "Yes, yes. I'll tell you if anyone bothers you." She answers obediently. "Yeeess. Call me later okay?" She speaks childishly. She stops walking to end the call before letting a sigh. Sierra looks around. She goes through her phone to check if she was heading in the right direction "Okay.." She runs her fingers through her hair to push it back. "There." She looks in the direction where the share house was.

She puts her hand on her luggage once again to start moving again. She stops at the house that was most identical to the picture. "Is this right?" She wonders aloud. She carried her luggage to the front door, hesitant in opening it. Hearing the sounds in the inside somehow assured her that she was in the right building. She slowly opened the door and peeked her head inside, "Hello? Is this the Sepia Share House?" She asks.

Derrek did want something to eat, but he had a more pressing matter. The need for a shower. It might have been a bit rude what he did next but it was in the best interest of everyone. He grabbed a change of clothes and slowly started to wander around, looking for the shower. After about five minutes he had found the water closet where he could take a shower. He closed the door and locked it. He took a quick shower to defunkify himself and get clean.

After a few minutes, he dried himself off and got changed quickly. He walked out of the water closet with his clothes balled up in his hand and walked back out with the other guests. He smelled of strawberries as he walked out. He over to Marie. "I'm sorry but I just had to take a shower. I felt so disgusting. I was hoping I could get here and take a shower before everyone else." His hair was wet and off to the side. "Sorry for using it without your permission. I was just that foul." He said.

Lucas looked around at the others who were now arriving. The rest seemed to be pretty normal, some even looking like they came from money, which didn't bother him at all. Even the man that had smelled at first freshened himself up quickly, coming out of the shower like a whole new person. From there all of his concerns about living in the share house had disappeared. He felt at ease with the people he would now be living with for what he hoped would be a long time.

He smiled at Marie when she welcomed them to eat the food, but noticed that no one else really seemed to be jumping at this opportunity. Where he came from, it was rude to decline food when someone had gone out of their way to cook for you. On the other hand, he figured that people were just arriving and needed to gather themselves first before having a seat and eating. Lucas, however, decided to break his silence, "Wow, the food looks amazing. I'd love some." He sat his duffle bag aside and had a seat at the table, beginning to fix himself a plate of the alfredo. To be honest, he hadn't expected this much from the owner.

The New Arrivals - Pt. 2As she was speaking, a few more faces made their appearances and already people were seeming more at home, at least that's what she chose to see. With so many questions to answer and so many people to welcome, she wasn't sure where to start except from the first person to ask her another question. "The rooms are upstairs and to the right. I've already had plaques made with your names on the doors so you shouldn't have any troubles finding which one is yours." The next person who arrived was the first of the few girls who'd be living at the share house, and she seemed to already know one of the other tenets. Seeing her questioning glance at the food she smiled, "Please, feel free to eat. I'm sure you're hungry since it's around noon." Once again the door opened, this time another girl, one who seemed much younger than she first believed, entered the house. "Yes it is. Come in, introduce yourself, make yourself at home!"

Máire hadn't noticed that Derrek left and freshened himself up. In fact, the smell of the food so close to her masked whatever scent he held before now. "That's perfectly okay Derrek, there's no need to apologize anyway. You live here as well starting now." Máire gave him a smile before turning to the other lad who had praised her cooking. "Thank you, dish up as you wish dear."

"Welcome to the Sepia Share house!"

(Feel free to interact among yourselves as well as my character Cameron. Máire is going to sit in the background while we wait for other players to make their entrances and such. She is still available to talk to though if you'd like.)

Ramses gives a appreciative nod and heads upstairs, wandering through the hall until he has reached a door with his name on it. He then opens the door and takes in the sight of his new room for a secound before entering and setting all of his stuff down. He then looked at the bag with all of his non-clothes in it then began to open it up placing things like his laptop, PlayStation and other sorts of technology around. He then leaves the room deciding to look at the rooms without name tags causing him to arrive at the bathroom first since it was closest to his room. When he looks inside he sees how big it is about the size of their rooms.
"Well the bathroom pretty nice too bad i will probably never see it again since i would have to be competing with 11 other people for it."
He says that recalling how long it took for him to get to the bathroom with one sister and 2 brothers but with 11 other people already spells disaster. Shuddering at the thought he moves to peek at the next room which was apparently a spare bedroom he then started muttering to himself.
"Geeez how many bedrooms does one house need."
He then closed the door and looked at the next room which was apparently a storage closet, he didn't pay much mind to it though if anything he would of been a bit surprised if the house didn't have a storage closet. After he was done checking out the rooms with no names on them he decided to go back downstairs to fix himself a plate of food, being a picky eater as he was he was most likely going to get a lot of one, two or three things.

"Make sure to brush your teeth, eat your vegetables, sleep early, work hard..." a young man with strong facial features listed, counting off his fingers. While in the meantime, a young woman impatiently stood next to the sleek, white car. Her eyes brimmed with excitement at the prospect of living on her own. Well, it was more like eleven people, but she'll be doing her own laundry and stuff. She dreamed of meeting new people, and hopefully friends, sitting next to a fireplace and drinking black coffee, like real adults. "Hey, hey, are you listening Fem?" the black haired man asked, waving his hand in front of her face. She shook her head, not to say no but to keep herself away from dreaming. "I swear," he sighed, shaking his head, "are you sure you want to stay here? I can take you with me abroad." Femi puffed out her cheeks and shook her head. This time it meant no. "I have to do this. I can't let you guys take care of me forever," she responded, stepping closer to the open car window. The young man nodded his head in understanding. "Alright," he sighed, closing his eyes. Fem leaned over and wrapped her thin arms around him. "Come back soon," she said, standing back and grabbing the handle to her black suitcase. He hummed of course and drove off. "Sooo," Femi said, looking at the large house in front of her, "do I just walk up to the door?" Grabbing her suitcase, she strolled up the pathway towards the door. Despite her excitement, she didn't want to come off as rude, so she stopped at the door. Looking at the fashioned up woman, peeking her head through the door, Femi waited for a little. But as time passed, her impatience grew, and she leaned over and gave the door three swift knocks.

Rivs arrived in a taxi cab mere moments after what appeared to be the other tenants of the house. She could see each one of them entering the place. The blue bus that she had just missed a few seconds before she could catch it had pulled up in front of its stop. Rivs watched as a blonde-haired male who seemed to be roughly around the same age as her exit the bus and head in the direction of the house.

She paid the cab driver before proceeding to follow him into the house. It wasn't surprising that she was one of the last few to show up; that was usually the case, anyways. Noticing that the owner of the share house seemed to be rather busy greeting the others, she merely nodded in the woman's direction and continued to scan the room.

There was food on the table, and the tenants had already started to interact. Rivs wondered if she'd be able to crash into a conversation without making it too awkward. Keeping to herself, she awkwardly stood there, almost as if waiting for something to happen.

The Growing Crowd Cameron watched as more people began to flow in, not bothering to say hello each time someone new walked in. It wasnt that he didn't care, although he really didn't, he simply didn't want to repeat himself. When everyone had seemed to arrive, which was eleven people including himself, he took a long sliding gaze across the crowd. All but four seemed to be around his age or younger, excluding the caretaker, so he figured it would be difficult to get to know any of them. People his age weren't exactly open books of sunshine and rainbows. All the more reason to start now though right?

Getting up from his seat Cameron made his way to the group closest to the door. As he passed he heard a knock on the door and opened it. A girl was standing there, presumably coming to the share house. "Welcome to the share house. Come in, say hi, and whatever else." He didnt stay there for much longer as he made his way to anothet girl who seemed lost, or at least spaced out.

Cameron wasn't one to make impressions seeing as he simply had no real reason to impress anyone, but that didnt mean he had no public standards. This was a rare thing from him, especially when his job entailed standing around and waiting for people to come to him, nonetheless he stopped in front of the girl and held out his hand. "The name's Cameron, how's it going?"

The girl was much shorter than him, even in his semi-slouched posture, and a faint smell of alcohol was mostly masked by his otherwise pleasant fragrance. His hair, unkempt and messy looking, seemed to match his uncaring eyes. Ue5 his voice held sincerity, despite how unbelievable it may seem to others. His attire was just as laid back as him, wearing simple jeans and a layered shirt. A pale grey tee on top of a black undershirt. It was as if he didnt take anything seriously, and maybe he didn't, not entirely at least.

"The name's Cameron, how's it going?"

Not long after Rivs had paused to look around, someone had stopped to greet her. Based on his demeanor, it seemed to her that he didn't really want to be there. Perhaps he was just tired. In any case, she wasn't one to judge people by their appearance. This, however, didn't stop her from doing a double take when she noticed his rather casual-looking outfit. Though she had a tendency to not care about her general looks, she realized that she hadn't even bothered to look twice at herself in the mirror before leaving. Rivs was dressed in a pair of blue jeans with a belt and a loose white crop top. She was aware of the fact that she probably didn't look as well as the others, but at least she was presentable.

After giving herself a brief moment to observe him, she nodded at him and reached out to shake his hand. "Cameron, huh? Nice to meet you. You can call me Rivs. I'm just trying to figure out what's what since I just got here." She gestured around herself as if to emphasize her unfamiliar surroundings. "Are you okay with me calling you Cam?"

V A L E R I E

Ah, there it was. The Share House just entered Valerie's vision on her drive over. Not exactly knowing this side of town, it had been a troubling start for her. But that didn't matter, finally, she had arrived. She parked nearby and exited her car, now shooting for her luggage and bags. For a share house, this one actually looked appeasing to her. Unlike the last few places, this one had such a wonderfully warm welcoming look! Oh joy. Anyways, as excited as she was, Val casually strolled over towards the house, going to the front door and giving it a polite knock. To her, knocking on your new front door was a bit weird, but she's sharing the house. It would be rude to barge in.

"Hello~!" She called out from the front door. Opening it now to enter, she put on her very best manners, "I must be so late, I do apologize for my inconvenience, but here I am, hmm~" Val entered with her bags and all. She was dressed in her casual day clothes, that being an Off The Shoulder blouse with a pair of light jeans and some pristine looking Chuck Taylor's. Her hair had a rather prepped messy look, hanging around her shoulders and her glowing amber eyes scanned the entrance. As well as the people.

"My name's Valerie Parks, but I'm sure Val works just as fine, so please~ Call me Val. I assume the lovely Máire Ceallaigh is present somewhere in this equally as lovely estate?" As she spoke, she rounded the inside towards where the rest of the tenets were. She would love to socialize.

Had kept his head down for the most part, enjoying the food that had been served. Based off of first impressions, everyone seemed to be in their own lane, no one overstepping or giving off bad vibes. They had all just gotten there, so it could only get worse from there if it was going to begin trending downward anyway. Lucas set his utensils on the plate and took a drink from his glass of water. He stood, rolling up his sleeves and took his plate in the kitchen where he proceeded to do his part and wash his dish. He was consciously trying to be a bit more well mannered than he usually was for the sake of first impressions, which was a value he was raised with. Maybe the only thing he really took with him when he left home anyway.

He would return to the main area to see that people had begun interacting with one another. He hadn't planned on being left out of this, so he approached the forming group, a small smile on his face. As he came to the group, an amber-eyed woman introduced herself as Valerie. He extended a sincere hand out to the woman, "Hey, What's up Val? Name's Lucas." He looked around briefly at everyone that had gathered in the house, which was a pretty good amount. He was indifferent about sharing the house with so many people because there were times he would prefer privacy and others where he would like company. In a perfect world, a share house would be the perfect compromise, but life wasn't so optimal. Regardless, he would make the best of the current situation.

Ken blinked in surprise then smiled at Ellie, a slightly shaky but good-intentioned smile.
"Oh, Ellie, small world, isn't it? I didn't expect to meet you here." He said, then seemed to quickly grow accustomed to the circumstance, "Well, coincidence is a tool of fate," he chuckled amiably, "Are you ready to eat? Since our landlady went through the trouble to make us this meal, so let's take advantage. Why don't you sit with me?" He said, holding out a hand to Ellie.

Ramses takes a plate and gathers all the food he knows he would like leaving only 2 things that cover his entire plate, he then takes a seat at the table and begins to eat, it takes about 15 seconds before his plate is entire clean. After his little meal he began to debate on weather to get seconds but decided to look at the others first, he didn't really think much of them but almost all of them look older than him except for one other guy who looks like he could be his age, Ramses then stares at him for a bit contemplating on weather to talk to him or not but then begins to worry that he might not make a good first impression and knowing how bad at words he is that guy may be annoyed by him and maybe even dislike him, he really doesn't want to make any enemies on the first day and returns to staring forward as if in a trance. He begins to think that out of 11 different people at least one of them will like him, he has a pretty good relationship with his co-workers although a few do find him annoying sometimes but they at least like him enough non the less. He then just decides to not approach anyone and gets up from his table to throw away his plate after that he just stands near a wall watching the others interact while tuning in to what some of them are saying.

Carefree Cam Cameron shrugged, "Sure, I don't see why not." He looked around at the crowd briefly as he spoke, "Well I imagine that the caretaker will show us around when everyone's here and has had a chance to eat." He then turned back to Rivs, "So Rivs, what's your reason for coming to a share house? I chose it cause it's cheap and actually within walking distance of where I work." Cameron wasn't really sure where he was going with his random question, but it wasn't like he could ask any other question that wouldn't seem equally out of place. Regardless, maybe it would get him somewhere, although he wasn't sure what somewhere he would end up going. Sure Cameron seemed as if he didn't care, and for the most part he really didn't, but at the same time he did. He was like a living paradox that contradicted itself at every passing moment. Perhaps living at the share house would change his views, or maybe it would strengthen the enigma that was him.
"I don't see why not."

Derrek had eaten with everyone, but when everyone was forming a group Derrek had made his way to the couch and laid down. His carefree spirit acting up. To be honest Derrek didn't mind not being in the group's conversation. If they were having a good time, then he was having a good time. He feeds off the emotion that was around him. The emotion he felt wasn't happy or sad it was content. Everyone was talking and having a good time meeting the people that they were going to be living with. He put his hands up behind his head and closed his eyes. He wasn't asleep, he was just resting his eyes.

He slowly started to hum Africa by Toto. It was one of his favorite songs. If anything he wanted to do a remix of it, but remixing older songs were really hard for him. One with the beat and everything like that. Thinking about it he hadn't really been able to focus on his music the past two weeks due to everything that had happened with his old apartment and friends. On the outside, he was smiling but on the inside, it was far from similar. Just the thought of the incident had caused him to feel horrible.

"Oh, the share house? I kinda needed a place like this. Rent's cheap and any place else around here is way too expensive, especially when I can barely afford to get by. I think it'll be fine though, and if it isn't, I can just hope for the best, right?" Rivs laughed in somewhat of a nonchalant tone. "Mmh... where do you work, Cam?" Upon surveying him, she wouldn't have been able to pinpoint his field of work since there didn't seem to be any stereotypical signs. Well, that was to be expected, considering that the group of tenants hadn't come dressed to go to work.

Speaking of work, that reminded Rivs of the job she'd have to start soon. It would be her first job, and it was a wonder that she'd even managed to land it due to her inability to come up with any past work experience. Luckily, the owner of the rundown cafe didn't care for that kind of experience; or in her case, lack thereof.

Snapping back to the person who stood before her, she continued to take his figure in slowly. Rivs found that he was quite tall. Though she didn't really have to look up to see him, he was definitely around 6 feet or taller. Judging by the way he carried himself, she assumed that he was a relaxed individual. Possibly cynical. Tilting her head to the side, she stood and watched him as he spoke.

Bartender By Night, Insomniac By Day "Where do I work? I work as one of the bartenders at that nightclub on this edge of town. The Violet Rose, ever heard of it?" Cameron waited a moment, but it wasn't long enough for a response, "Anyway, I work pretty much all night which would be pretty ideal if it weren't for the fact that I get maybe ten hours of sleep a week? If I'm lucky." Cameron shrugged, "Nothing I can do about it though, I just can't sleep normally. Pretty sure I have insomnia, but it's nothing that's really an issue to my well being so I've never bothered going to a doctor about it." It was visible, although very faint, that he clearly had very little sleep. Period. The paleness of his skin hid the bags under his eyes rather effectively, and the way he composed himself made it nearly indiscernible that he was most likely exhausted even as they spoke. "How about you? If I had to guess based on that barely getting by comment I'd say... minimum wage at some fast food restaurant? Or maybe you're younger than I thought and it's your first job?" He had come to those guesses based on how young she looked, although he couldn't say much since he, despite being so tall, was probably not much older than her. That and he was more than aware of the struggles of a poor income when he was living at home. He was lucky to even get the bar tending job when he did since he had a week before he was twenty-one. However, that was nearly a year ago and since then not much had changed other than a few raises and Cameron's search for a way to keep supporting his mother while also supporting himself.

Taking a notice to the fact that Rivs tilted her head, Cameron imitated her, "Question, I see girls do that head tilt thing quite a bit. Why is that?" Truth be told, Cameron couldn't read other people's actions like he could their words. In a class of subtle hints, he'd fail. Whether the gesture meant something or not, it went clear over his head and out the window. He'd never admit he was so terrible at picking up subtle body language, but it was almost obvious in one on one interactions with people. Of course, nobody would figure it out right away, and at the nightclub nobody ever would, but at the share house, his secret inability wouldn't be secret for long. Another thing Cameron picked up while growing up was a lack of filtering his thoughts into words. Sure, he knew when to keep his mouth shut, but when it came to his curiosity there were very few filters to be had. He had to teach himself nearly everything and in order to accomplish that he had to ask questions which meant that there were few questions he wasn't willing to ask to get an answer.
"I see girls do that head tilt thing quite a bit."
