Two Winchesters and a Baby Angel

Cas giggled and pointed at Dean, patting his hand against his highchair tray, squirming a bit. The sound of hissing was heard as Cas started wetting his diaper, making a relieved face when he finished, enjoying the squishy warmth.

The blush reignited a tad, Dean shook his head affectionately, before taking Cas out of his highchair and changing him. Burping their little one, Dean nodded to Sam to get their baby's bath started.

"Good boy, Cas. Now let's get ready for bath time, huh?" Dean murmured, deep voice rumbling throughout the room.

Undressing their friend, the brothers got Cas into the tub, putting in toys to keep him occupied, along with bubbles, surrounding their little one.

Cas smiled and splashed around in the water, giggling happily. It was amazing how Cas went from a powerful angel to an innocent baby boy, in less than a minute.

Picking up a handful of bubbles, Sam spread them over their baby's face, making sure though that they didn't get in his eyes. Mock gasping, Sam looked around, "Where'd Cas go?"

Dean, on the other hand, was rolling his green eyes and smirking at his brother. Sammy was such a dork sometimes.

Cas giggled and reached up, trying to wipe the bubbles off his face. However, in doing this, Cas accidentally rubbed the soap into his eyes, which made him scream and wail.

Wincing at their little one's wails and screams, both brothers sped into action. Sam grabbed a cup of water and began to carefully wash the soap from Cas' eyes, and Dean comforted him.

"Hey, it's okay, Cas. Daddy Sam is gonna take care of it. We're sorry, buddy. Really sorry."

Cas sniffled and coughed, choking on the water a bit. He thought bath time was supposed to be fun, but he realized that, sometimes it could be kinda scary.

Getting their baby out of the water, and drying him and changing him with intense speed, the brothers both embraced their baby and felt awful for what just happened.

Kissing their baby's hairline, Sam mourned, "I'm sorry, Cas. I should've thought that out before."

Dean, pressing his mouth to his baby's cheek, murmured sadly, "Me too."

The older Winchester picked up their baby boy and brought him to his crib, knowing that a good, long night's rest was in order. But, stopping the middle of the doorway, Dean looked down at Cas and asked, "Wanna sleep with Daddy and me or in your crib, tonight, kiddo?"

Cas looked up at Dean and gurgled, as his eyes widened. He pointed to him, and nodded, letting Dean know that he wanted to sleep with his daddies tonight.

Chuckling, Dean nodded, "Okay. But remember: Sam likes to sprawl out and sometimes he snores," he joked.

From the next room, a voice called out, "Do not!"

Cas giggled tiredly, and yawned, rubbing his eyes, tiredly. He was so sleepy, and kept trying to stay awake, but he eventually succumbed to the sleep.

Tucking their little one in, making sure he was warm and secure in their bed. Both brothers slept on the other side of Cas, each pressing a kiss to their baby's face. Getting settled in themselves, the pair smiled at one another before turning around to face their adjacent walls.

"Goodnight, Dean."

"Night, Sam."

Cas wakes up around 4 in the morning, crying and fussing from a full diaper and a hungry tummy. He hates to wake his daddies, but he really needs tending to.

Pulled abruptly from their sleep, the two brothers rubbed their eyes tiredly and frowned at seeing their baby fussing and crying.

Standing and picking up Cas, Dean changed him into a clean diaper, "Hey, shhh. Sammy's gonna get you something to eat."

The younger returned from the kitchen with a jar of baby food, floppy hair messed up and hazel eyes half-out of it.

Cas rubbed his eyes and whimpered softly. He felt bad for waking his daddies, and he could've waited until the morning, when they woke up.

Smoothing his baby's hair, Sam shook his head, "S'okay, Cas. Daddy and me are fine with this, don't feel bad."

The older agreed, as he pressed a kiss to the angel's temple and started to feed him.

Cas opened his mouth and allowed Dean to feed him, getting less messy than usual, but by the time he finished, there was a good amout of food on his bib.

A few hours later, when the sun started to peak through their windows, the brothers woke up and shared a smile at Cas, who was still gripping Dean's shirt like a life-line.

"Should we wake 'im up?" Sam wondered, amoured with their baby boy, but also feeling uncomfortable with staying in bed any longer. It just wasn't in him.

The older made an unbiased shrug, "You can get up and do whatever, Sam. I think he's gonna want to keep a hold of me. Literally."

Nodding, the younger placed a kiss on Cas' cheek before leaving the room, choosing to take a shower.
