Two Winchesters and a Baby Angel

(Right now, actually! Sorry, I got a bit carried away with the part with Sam.)

Setting Cas on the floor, Dean sat beside him, "Alright, kiddo. I'm gonna try and teach you to crawl." Getting into a crawling position, hands and knees on the floor, the green-eyed hunter started to crawl, making slow movements so Cas could copy them.

Returning back to their little one, the older nodded, "Now you try, Cas."

Cas giggled and copied Dean the best he could, slowly, and clumsily crawling across the floor before plopping down onto his padded bottom again.

Ruffling the angel's hair, Dean grinned, "That was great, Cas."

Sam nodded, also grinning like a mad man at how well their friend had done, and the undoubted, further progress that their little one would make in the near future.

Looking down lovingly at the person tugging on his shirt, Dean teased, "What do you want?" before scooping up Castiel and pressing soft kisses along the crinkles of their little one's eyes.

Watching the two, the younger Winchester couldn't believe what was happening. But in a good way. Now they could take care of someone and love them unconditionally, plus not having to worry about hunting or anything like that. It was perfect.

Humming a meaningless tune, Dean held the angel tightly, liking the feeling of trust and how easily Cas let them take care of him, with little to no struggle. It was effortless.

Sam continued to watch the two, before he went to get something to drink.

Cas let out a soft yawn and laid his head on Dean's shoulder, drooling slightly, as he closed his eyes and rested.

Patting Castiel's back, Dean carefully laid him down in his crib and before putting his pacifier in his baby's mouth and giving Cas his bee plushie.

Meeting Sam in the kitchen, the older leaned against the counter, "Still can't figure out why all of a sudden he started talkin', stopped, and then went back again."

Shrugging, the younger took a sip of his drink, "I don't know either, Dean. But I'd rather not worry about it for a while. Besides, he did pretty well just earlier, with talking and crawling."

Cas rolled onto his side, still sucking on his pacifier. He wriggled deeper into his blankets and fell into a deep, peaceful sleep.

(Skip to the next day or something, maybe?)

Today was shopping day, and after endless searching, the two Winchesters finally found a local adult baby store. While this type of thing was popular, it was also difficult to discreetly find among others. Though, needless to say, it was worth it.

Feeding Castiel his breakfast, both brothers looked forward to traveling with their baby.

Cas eats messily, globs of food dribbling onto his bib, and down his chin. He was excited to get to go somewhere with his Daddies.

Cleaning up the angel, and dressing him in another outfit of a blue onesie and sweatpants, as it was unseasonably chilly out today, the Winchesters buckled their little one in his carseat, giving him a teething toy and a stuffed elephant to play with.

Arriving at the store a while later, Dean removed Cas from his carseat and placed him in his stroller with his toys and everything. Then Sam pushed the stroller into the store, both hoping to find plenty of things for their little one.

Cas whimpered softly, and squirmed slightly, trying to hold in his mess a bit longer, not wanting to have an accident in the store.

Not noticing their baby's quiet distress, the brothers argued coolly over what kind of baby food they should buy Castiel, before moving to the clothes section of the store.

Cas whined and started to wriggle around in the stroller, but it was no use, as the soft mess started making its way out and into the back of Cas' diaper. Cas whimpered as he felt the warm, soft mess smushing against him. The smell was absolutely horrid and everyone they passed made disgusted faces. Cas frowned and hid underneath his blanket, ashamed and embarrassed.

Smelling what their baby had done, the two Winchesters immediately headed to the changing rooms at the far end of the store, throwing angry glares at anyone who made Cas feel ashamed and embarrassed. He had no control! What had they expected him to do?

Changing their little one, Dean whispered, "Hey, hey. It's okay. You couldn't help it, it's not your fault."

Sam nodded, "Yeah. It doesn't bother us, we love you, Cas."

Cas was still upset, poking out his lower lip in a sad pout. Why did people get upset, by him? It's not like he wanted that to happen. He hated the feeling of a full diaper. It was so gross to him.

Remembering the people who had made Cas feel ashamed and embarrassed, both brothers scowled angrily, but quickly removed them for their little one.

Sam smoothed the angel's hair softly, "Sometimes people don't bother to understand, Cas. They just think what they want to believe and think that's the only way."

"Yeah, and they get upset when someone or something is different," Dean added, before both brothers pressed kisses to their baby boy's cheeks.

Cas started to smile. He soon forgot all about those mean people and daydreamed about the rest of the day, hoping it would get better.

Glad to see Cas smile, they settled him back into the stroller and finished shopping, having the blue-eyed baby pick out some things he wanted, to make up for the rude people who had dampened on their little one's day so far.

After putting their bags in the car, and making sure Castiel was safe and secure in the back, they headed home.

On the way home, Cas saw an ice cream truck, and patted his hand against the window, wanting some ice cream. He whined and fussed, trying to get his Daddies' attention.

Rolling their eyes affection, Dean pulled the Impala over and helped Cas get out of his carseat, "Yeaah. Sure, I guess you can have some ice-cream," the hunter mocked teased.
