Two Winchesters and a Baby Angel

"Ow. Ow. Ow," the hunter winced at the tugs of his hair. Cas might be a baby mentally, but he was still a strong angel physically, leading to some rough play.

Settling Castiel in his highchair, Sam gave him some tupperware and plastic utensils to play with, while Dean continued to make breakfast, humming to himself.

Watching his brother, the taller smiled warmly, "It feels kinda nice doing this, you know?"

"Yeah. Like you said, we need a break, at least for a little while."

Cas looked over at Dean and smiled at him, as he continued playing with the utensils and tupperware provided to him.

Finishing cooking, Dean put eggs, bacon, and pancakes on each plate, before setting them down. Taking the tupperware and utensils from Cas, then putting a bib on him, Sam kissed the angel's cheek before cutting the pancakes into little pieces and feeding Cas.

Cas ate messily, getting globs of sticky syrup on his bib and fingers and all over his chin. Despite once being a powerful angel, Cas was a very messy eater, no matter what they were feeding him.

"Someone's pretty messy," Dean teased, devouring his breakfast with gusto. He was a good cook, he'd proudly tell you.

Washing their baby's face with a wet cloth, Sam kissed the extra syrup away, before burping Cas, holding him close and patting his back softly.

Cas hiccupped softly before letting out a loud, wet burp, a bit of spit-up following.

Feeling full and satisfied, Cas looked around and spotted a toy on the floor. He whined and fussed, wanting to play with it.

Quickly cleaning up the angel's face once again, Sam set him down on the floor. Then the two brothers cleaned up the remains of breakfast and washed the dishes.

Cas smiled as he crawled over to the door and started to pat his hands against it, showing Sam and Dean that he wanted to go outside and play.

Hearing the pats against the door, the men got the cue. Picking up their friend, and dressing him in a romper with a light blue shirt, with matching socks, they headed outside into the open air.

The sun shining and the air pleasantly cool, Dean placed their baby down on the grass, "Alright, Cas. What do you want to play with first?"

Cas looked up at Dean and flopped onto his back, wriggling on the wet grass, getting his outfit wet and dirty.

The taller hunter shrugged, "I guess that works. We're gonna have to change him later, though."

Dean nodded, "Yeah. Let 'im have his fun," he replied before kneeling in front of Cas. "What are you doing?" he mocked-growled.

Cas cooed and giggled, kicking his legs out, and nearly kicking Dean in the face. Cas felt especially playful today, and he didn't know why, but he liked it.

Dodging, Dean glared at Sam, who was snickering at what he saw. Turning back to face Cas, the hunter said, "Hey! Easy there, tiger." Returning to be playful with their little one, Dean tickled the angel's side, hoping to keep the giggles up. It was pretty cute.

Cas giggled even more at being tickled, squirming around on the grass. Cas loved playing with Sam and Dean, because they loved having fun, like he did.

Seeing his brother and friend have fun, Sam frowned slightly, "Hey. I'm in on the fun too." Sitting down on the grass beside Dean, Sam leaned in and blew a raspberry on their little one's cheek.

Cas smiled and gurgled, wetting his diaper until it leaked a bit. Apparently, the brothers were having a bit too much fun with Cas.

"Uh oh," the two Winchesters mumbled in unison. The taller scooped Castiel up and into the house, before changing him and cooing at how well-behaved the angel has been so far. Dean stood in the doorway, watching how his little brother was so good with their little one.

"Wanna go back outside, Cas?" Sam asked.

Cas shook his head no, and wrapped his arms around Sam's neck, nuzzling him affectionately. He liked it whenever Sam chose to take care of him, because he changed him a certain way, and touched him so soothingly.

A bit taken aback from the sudden gesture of affection, the chestnut-haired hunter blinked before smiling warmly at Castiel. Walking over to Cas' pile of toys, Sam picked up a teething toy and squeezed it in front of the little one, it making a crinkling sound, that hopefully their baby boy liked. Then, in the other hand, the Winchester held a Cas' favorite bee plushie, gesturing for the angel to take both, or one, Sam wondered if maybe he could get the shorter to suck on the teething toy rather than his fingers.

Cas took the toy from Sam, and brought it to his mouth, his eyes narrowing as he chewed on it, enjoying the squishy feeling against his teeth.

Internally praising himself, the hunter grinned before hugging Cas tightly. Dean, seeing this, quirked a brow, "Did you really just get him to stop sucking on his fingers? Or at least for now?"

"Yep," the taller replied proudly.

Sitting their little one, toy still in his mouth, the brothers sat on either side of him, both cooing at how cute and good he's been so far.

Cas blushed slightly at all this attention. He had no idea what he was doing that was so cute, but he was going to keep it up.

Sitting on the couch, the two Winchesters turned on the TV to some cartoons, for some background noise.

A while passed, and the brothers heard Cas' tummy growl. Smiling at each other, they looked down at the person sitting between them.

"Sounds like someone's hungry," the hazel-eyed hunter commented.

Bending down and pressing his ear against their baby's tummy, Dean nodded, "I think so, Sam."
