Two Winchesters and a Baby Angel

(sure)

Cas wakes up a while later, to the smell of food. He sits up and rubs his eyes with his mittened hands, yawning softly. He smacks his lips and drools, at the sight of the food.

While Dean is cooking, Sam comes in to see Castiel awake; drooling lightly.

Glad that now it seems like their little one is in a better mood, the younger picks him up and places him on his hip, "Hey, you hungry, Cas? Dean's making dinner."

Cas nods and smiles as he feels himself being placed in a large highchair and a bib is being fastened around his neck. He looks around sleepily, mindlessly sucking on one of his mittened hands.

Smoothing Cas' hair, Dean sets down dinner: mashed potatoes, steak, and some unknown vegetable for Sam.

"You guys better eat this, I worked hard on it," the Winchester ordered, with no real heat to it.

The younger smiled, "Says our newest housewife."

Rolling his eyes, older hunter spooned some of the potatoes for the angel and started to feed him.

Cas eats messily, getting globs of food on his chin, bib, the highchair tray, and mysteriously, in his hair a bit, too.

Realizing the mess Cas had made, the two brothers laughed aloud. It was adorable, to say the least.

"I think someone's gonna need a bath soon," Sam teased, finishing his own dinner. Dean agreed, nodding and inhaling his own.

"Okay, squirmy. Let's go get you in the tub," Dean says, wiping Cas' face before picking him up and undressing him on the bathroom floor. Sam was running the water, making sure it wasn't too hot or too cold, then putting toys and bubble bath also.

Cas cooed and gurgled, as he splashed in the water, getting Sam and Dean wet. Cas thought that was hilarious, so he just kept laughing hysterically.

As the two brothers started to laugh with their little one, Dean wore a bath mitt on his right hand to help wash Cas, "Hey, splashy. Play with your toys so I can wash you, yeah?"

Washing the blue-eyed angel with soap and water, only burning with embarrassment at touching Cas' privates, Dean managed to get their baby boy squeaky clean. That left Sam to hair-scrubbing duty.

Grabbing a cup and filling it with water, the taller put a cloth over Castiel's eyes, to prevent shampoo from getting in them. Rubbing the sweet-smelling mixture over their friend's hair, Sam cleaned it away, "There. Done. Good job, Cas."

Cas purred slightly, and smiled at the praise that his caretakers were giving him. A bath was no big deal for Cas, as he just enjoyed making his daddies happy.

After Dean had dried off Cas with a fluffy towel, Sam diapered him and dressed him in a simple pair of gray sweatpants and a t-shirt. They'd have to either look for a store that catered to adult babies or find some clothes online for their friend later.

Picking the angel up, Dean cooed, "Bedtime's just around the corner, kiddo. You want a bottle before that?"

Breathing a tiny laugh, Sam said, "Maybe not. I think someone's pretty tired."

"Okay, come on, tiger. Let's get you in bed," Dean grunted before readjusting Cas on his shoulder. Heading to their little one's nursery, the hunter set him down in his crib, handing him a pacifier just in case, and a stuffed bumblebee.

Both Winchesters gave the angel a forehead kiss, and in unison, they both murmured, "Goodnight, Cas."

However, Cas suckled on his fingers throughout the night. Tomorrow, he'd be in quite a bit of pain from that. Something needed to be done about his oral fixation, before it got even worse.

The next morning, Sam and Dean went to check up on Cas. Seeing that his fingers were rubbed raw, since they had forgotten to put on his mittens, both pairs of hazel and green eyes widened.

"Crap," the older breathed.

Looking at his brother, Sam wondered aloud, "What are we gonna do? He can't keep doing this."

"We're just gonna have to keep putting mittens on 'im, and use pacifiers and teething toys," Dean replied, putting soothing cream along Cas' raw fingers, then putting the forgotten mittens over them.

Cas whimpered and fussed, still sucking on his fingers, the pain increasing as he ran his toungue along the raw areas, irritating them even more.

He hated the pain, but sucking on his fingers calmed him down.

"We might just have to find another way of calming him down, rather than doing that," Sam offered, picking up their little one.

"Yeah. But like what?" Dean wondered.

"I don't know."

Cas looked up at the brothers curiously, drool dribnling down his chin, as he switched to sucking on the fingers on his other hand.

Cleaning up the drool with a cloth, Sam asked, "You hungry, Cas? Dean can make breakfast."

Dean gave a small smile, "Anything ya want."

Titling his head so their friend could play with it, the taller huffed out a laugh, "I think that might mean a 'yes'."

Ruffling Cas' hair, the shorter nodded before heading out to the kitchen to make breakfast.
