Two Winchesters and a Baby Angel

Cas pouted and tried his best, flopping onto his tummy, and posing for the camera, trying to look as cute as possible. He didn't really understand the concept of this, but he didn't think it would involve doing anything he didn't want to. After the camera flashed, Cas' eyes widened, and he started to cry.

"Oh! I'm sorry, little guy, I shoulda warned you," the photographer partly exclaimed, feeling awful.

Holding their little one close, the two brothers rocked him slowly back and forth, giving small frowns to the other.

"S'okay, Cas. You did great," Sam comforted.

Cas was comforted by his Daddies and was soon feeling much better, ready to get more pictures taken. This time, Cas wore only a diaper and pale blue booties, and had been laid down on his back, where he grabbed at his feet, and played with them, gurgling happily, regressing back to his previous state, not staying as a toddler like the boys thought he would.

Noticing that their baby boy had regressed back to where he was before, the Winchesters shared a confused glance. It seemed rather strange for that to happen, let alone so quickly. But as much as they wanted to do something about it, or find a reason/cause, it didn't seem likely at the moment.

So, watching their little one play with his booties, gurgling happily, they both felt quizzical but also adoring.

Cas giggled and looked up at the photographer, giving her a big, adorable smile, perfect for a picture. But Cas also wanted a few pictures with his Daddies involved, too.

An enraptured expression fell upon the photographer's face, "Awww. Thanks, cutie." Snapping a picture of Cas' smile, she winked at the angel before seeing the two Winchesters also watching their little one, not doing much.

"You two aren't gonna take pictures with your baby?" she asked, quirking a brow.

Realizing that someone was speaking to them, the brothers were pulled from their thoughts. Dean cleared his throat, "Uh, yeah. We are...just, we were waiting for the right time, you know?" Sam nodded nonchalantly.

Moving closer to Castiel, so that they were in the camera's view, trying their best to have a picture with their little one.

Cas leaned against his Daddies, cooing softly, as he started sucking on his fingers again, a bad habit he had a hard time breaking. But it made for some really cute pictures. Who wouldn't want to preserve a time like this?

Once a few more pictures were taken, the three decided it was enough. Giving Cas a pacifier, so he'd stop sucking on his fingers, Dean placed the angel on his hip.

"Nice job, Cas. These pictures are gonna be perfect," the hunter praised.

Cas smiled and leaned against Dean, drooling slightly, as he was carried out of the studio. However, right as he was placed in his carseat, Cas let out a wet fart, and pushed a smelly mess into his diaper.

Smelling the mess, Dean grimaced, "Good thing we brought the diaper bag." Taking Cas out of his carseat, and changing him quickly, before disposing of the soiled diaper in a nearby waste bin.

Buckling their little one in his seat once more, then handing him Apple, the three headed home.

Cas was quiet the whole way home, mindlessly chewing on one of Apple's wings, covering the edge of it in drool, as he stared out the window, watching everything they passed.

Parking in front of their house, Sam turned around and smiled softly at their friend chewing on his toy's wing. "Someone's quiet," the taller teased, tickling Cas' knee.

Unbuckling Cas from his seat, Sam carried him into the house and settled down on the couch, before Dean came to join him. Sitting beside each other, with their baby boy between them, they huddled together.

Cas gurgled and cooed, loving all this attention he was recieving from his Daddies. He was very loved and he had the Winchesters to thank for that.

Each pressing a kiss to their little one's hair, the Winchesters slowly drifted off, holding Castiel in their arms and also the other.

Cas looked around, and whimpered when his Daddies had fallen asleep. He tried to wake them, but when they wouldn't wake up, he crawled off the couch and went out the door, crawling around in the front yard.

Waking up at the sudden loss of warmth, the two Winchesters looked around blearily before seeing the open door. Immediately waking up, and going into protective-mode, they hurried outside.

Finding their little one crawling around in the front yard, both hurried over to Castiel.

"Cas! We were worried about you. Who knows were you coulda gone off to?" Dean asked, voice unintentionally rising in his concern.

Cas was startled by Dean and as a result, started to cry, tears streaming down his cheeks, and his breath hitching, as he felt himself being lifted up and carried back inside.

Instantly feeling horrible at making Cas cry, both the emotions of concern and fear warring inside. Both he and Sam were terrified of the fact that Cas could've wandered off, or worse. They didn't know where he was; he couldn't defend himself.

Rubbing the angel's back, Dean shushed him, "Shhhh. I'm sorry, Cas. We were just worried about you."

Cas' cries began to dissapate, and he slowly calmed down, gripping Dean's shirt in his fists, eyes red and puffy, face tear-stained.

Rocking their blue-eyed, sorrowful friend in his arms, Dean quietly shushed him and prayed to God that Cas wouldn't be startled at the sight of him later on. The slightly paranoid thought made the hunter's heart drop.

Sam managed to change Cas into a comfortable onesie with some socks on, while the angel was clinging to his brother.

Pressing feather-y kisses to their little one's tear-stained face, Sam whispered, "S'okay, Cas."

Cas let out a soft whimper, before relaxing in Dean's arms, bringing his fingers to his mouth and chewing on them, trying to help himself relax a bit more.

Deciding to just let Cas suck on his fingers this one time, the two Winchesters settled on the couch, letting their little one relax on his own.

After Cas had fully relaxed, his tummy started to growl, causing him to let out a soft whimper. He was hungry, and hadn't eaten in a few hours.
