Rachelle smiled as Evan sat to her side, relaxing herself and feeling her confidence slowly returning to her from that. "Heh... I really hope so - it's been a rough start so far, but..." She seems deep in thought before breaking it off, shaking her head and managing a laugh. "...No worries. I'm sure we'll be fine; given our future versions exist, right?" She said adamantly, dismissing everything she just said in that very instant.

Inari Mesix (Location: Present Trinity Crescent, Library)

"We should take these out to compare with the circle," she stated, "From there, if these hold the data we hope they do, we'll be able to narrow the list down and figure out exactly what she did," she nodded to herself, "Of course, Virgil might not be happy with us taking these without checking them out, but that's not the big problem right now," she placed her hand on top of one of the piles of books as if claiming it for herself, waiting for Inari to either object or agree.
Inari agreed, managing a smile. "Right. We'll just have to go through one by one, and see which ones hold the same contents as we have now on the scene, right?" She asked confidently, and then opted to look through the books with Chelsea. Of course the first priority was to match the circle, the rest could come after - at their own pace. "Just need to find the ground work, I feel. We can handle the other details after." She said surely, hoping Chelsea agreed and understood. After all, the simplest and best place to start is 'the' start!

Lily stayed quiet through the explanation, knowing that if she started asking questions she would only be more confused. She jumped at Hyunjin's reaction, either not knowing or not remembering that Hyunjin had a sister. "Y-Yes! That's more than I expected to get, actually..." when Zealot was finally done speaking, Lily quickly went to nod her satisfaction. "I have another question...but you don't have to give me a straight answer..." she said quietly, looking at her lap. "Actually, I could be asking it to Hyunjin too!" she was quiet for a few moments after that, formulating the question in her head. "I don't understand why everyone hates our current headmaster...I'm probably missing something...but I don't know what it is!" she actually looked a little frustrated with herself. Even if she was nice, she hated being left behind or left out in wide-spread situations like the one with the current headmaster. All she could really do was smile and nod when someone portrayed him with a negative light. Am I dumb? What am I missing that everyone else sees? Questions popped up in her head but were quickly snuffed, deciding not to let her few doubts get the best of her before she heard what the other two had to say.

Future Rouge/Mary's POV

"Hello, Marcus," The vampire smiled, though she initially flinched when she was called Mary. Rouge had sworn she had told the few people she trusted her name, but maybe they had just fallen on deaf ears. "Oh, the commotion outside? It's the day all those students from the past came into the future, I think everyone's trying to figure out what to do with them," she glanced out the window for a second, before looking back to Marcus. She leaned against one of the desks, "You weren't in that group, were you? You stayed behind, correct?" she moved again, patting Marcus on the head. She was much taller then she had been when the two had first met, which made her much taller than Marcus. It was too easy for her to still view him as a child, but she forced the thought from her head. She was missing one of the important reasons he stayed back, but she preferred not to think of what her younger self had done, especially after seeing what she was like again.
Both Hyunjin and Zealot looked at each other before looking back to Lily. "Well..." Hyunjin began. "For starters, from personal experience, he's definitely ruthless. My first mission was given on the first day I was here and we had to kill two individuals without knowing who they were, or why we had to kill them. After this mission, I asked him about the info of said targets and noted that they were from the organization. So he keeps us in the dark, mostly. He also deals with students who join the organization harshly, meaning they were also killed. Basically, I've gotten a lot of blood on my hands, more blood than it should've been. It seems he sees us more as weapons to do his bidding for his own personal goals. A corrupt authority, I suppose." Hyunjin finished before a second voice came from behind them. "Which was why you were also against him, big sis. Our family clan has an ancient role to remove any abusive authority who are obviously up to no good." Hyunjin turned around quickly, almost recognizing the voice immediately. It was her younger sister, Soo-Xue. "Hello. I was about to mourn the you in this timeline, but..." Soo-Xue went over to Hyunjin and hugged her tightly. "You wouldn't be able to hear anything I've said. I miss you..." She said with a saddening tone. Hyunjin was surprised at first, almost in shock. But her instincts as a sibling was just to hug her back, to comfort her. Almost confusing this time's Soo-Xue with the one back home, she let out her feelings as well, calling her sister using Chinese. "I... I miss you too, meimei."

“S-So it was that bad...huh...?” Lily’s voice was shaky. She hadn’t been expecting this much, staring at her lap once again. She didn’t want to think about it too much, blinking in surprise as Soo-Xue enetered the picture. Her expression went from horror to vague confusion, though she managed a small smile in the midst of it. She didn’t have any siblings, but she had always been jealous of the ones who did. Not mercilessly cruel jealous, just in the way a child may ask their parents for a sister or brother for Christmas. She opened her mouth for a second, about to introduce herself out of habit, but she quickly shut it again, looking back at her menu, as if trying not to interrupt the moment, trying to make her presence as small as possible.

Chelsea’s POV

Chelsea nodded, flipping through one of the books and glancing over the different circles.
“I hope the few parts of the circle was can still see are enough, we may need to research more into the actual circle if it isn’t,” she said. She traced her finger along one of the circles. “Do you know which student initiated the circle? Maybe that can help narrow down where to look,” She was curious as to who had the idea to make a summoning circle, and why they did that. She could go on for ages about why it wasn’t a good idea in her head, but there was no changing the past, examining each of the circles carefully as she flipped past them.

Once the two finished their moment, they released each other slowly. Soo-Xue then looked over at Lily and smiled, rather playfully. She then went over and patted her head. "Ah this brings back memories. How're you doing Lily?" She asked before looking over to Zealot, who looked like she was expecting something. Soo-Xue stopped patting Lily's head before facing Zealot, almost at attention. "Nothing to report. Security's still stable. No sign of anything out of the usual." Soo-Xue said in a tone that would definitely identify her as an adjutant of someone. Zealot nodded and Soo-Xue sat down at the table. "I think it's time we finally order something, or do you need more time?" Zealot asked Lily since they have been talking for awhile, doubting that Lily given enough thought about what to order and was thinking about what questions to ask instead.

Lily hadn’t been expecting Soo-Xue’s attention to turn to her next, so she stared blankly for a few seconds. “H-huh? I’m good...how are you?” she murmured a response, kind of taken back by the hand on her head. Soon enough, the hand was gone and she could start thinking normally again. She listened to Soo-Xue’s report, trying not to seem too confused by the turn of events. “I-I’m ready whenever everyone else is!” she had completely forgotten about ordering, now actually thinking about what she wanted to have instead of just blankly reading it. “Sorry...” she apologized in a soft voice, trying to calculate how much time until the waitress came back. If worst came to worst, and she wasn’t able to find anything, she would probably just get tea, or the first thing her eyes landed on. “What are you getting?” She asked, trying to deter the conversation from herself.

Inari began to recall the events and nodded. "I believe it was Rachelle Mori who initiated the circle - though why and how she figured it was a good idea, I have no idea." She said honestly. Upon looking through the books, 3 of them had the matching circle. Only 3 of them, but they had found matches none the less. "Mmm, narrow down where to look? How so?" Inari asked curiously, seeming unsure at what Chelsea was getting at.

Chelsea was starting to put the books that didn’t have any useful information to the side. “Well, there’s a possibility that she checked out a book and took it to her dorm or somewhere else, correct? Not everything we need may be here in the library,” she pointed out, “I suppose the wording didn’t make too much sense, but that’s what I was trying to say,” she added, looking over at the circles they had found. “Do these have any descriptions about what they do?” She asked, looking over Inari’s shoulder.

"That is true... It is probable that she did take it to her dorm room and made her base plans there before deciding to follow through with it... Though, I'm not sure if it would be left wide open at the moment, though..." Inari thought aloud, shaking her head. She would then see what Chelsea was on about. "Hmm... Let's see..." She opted to take a look at the circles in the books, and further below, short and differing passages were found for each one. "Something is... amiss." Inari said upon realising this, and reading the text.

The circle is the most important part for any spell like this dangerous ritual. If not set up properly, it will not only fail, but cause disastrous damage if not properly handled. However, once it has initiated with the proper set-up corresponding to it, and after a short period of time, whatever it did will be reverted and the world should return to normal - though the 'stains' of what happened will be left behind, burnt into the scene itself. In order to 'revert' a ritual, the exact same set up and events must occur at the site of the new time period's 'ritual landmark'.

The 'time leap' ritual setup is notably forbidden due to a whole host of penalties that could happen 'after' it has been used, the literal world changing possibilities that can happen as a result (due to even succeeding to begin with and all manner of other incidents), and anyone caught in it is sent to where else it leads in time and space. As of the time this is being written, only 4 have gotten away with using this spell and not catching themselves into a random number of years into the future or into the past - of which are both entirely random. Fire for future, ice for past - the stronger the element (intensity wise), the bigger the leap.

Did you know it's possible to send messages from the past to the future? It's only a one-way communication, but if something exists in the past, as long as it exists in the future, any changes made to the former will be present in the exact same item if it is found in the future. However, there is also a heavy chance these changes will be permanent, and you must keep in mind that it doesn't take a lot of changing to change everything else.

Inari stood there in bewilderment after reading. "...Well then. I think we at least have a few leads..." She said simply, with a shaken tone in her voice.

Chelsea’s POV

Chelsea read the passages with narrowed eyes, the words being a little hard for her to read from behind. “So...it was a time ritual of some sort. That does kind of go with the design on the circle. What exactly do you find amiss?” she sounded more relieved, but still on edge. If it was a time situation, that meant most of them were probably still alive. Of course, she had no idea how far they had been sent into the future, for all she knew, it could have been long after human civilization ceased to exist. She heard Inari’s shaky tone, but didn’t know what to do to help comfort her, reading over the passages over and over. “We can send messages to the future...? Paper! If we put papers in books and so on, and make sure they stay there, then we can send help notes to the future!” her voice rose a little, a bit of happiness and surprise seeping into her tone. “We don’t really have anything just yet, but I’m sure we’ll be able to figure out something,” it was a stark contrast to Inari’s tone, but Chelsea seemed to be perking up a little, actually gaining hope.

Inari nodded. "Well, if we look at one of the passages, in order to go back to the present, those in the future will need to do the whole setup again... Everything... Maybe we could pass that along... But..." She stopped. "...Maybe we should tell what we've found to the others first?" She suggested, managing a confident smile. As for what was amiss, Inari dismissed that comment entirely - as it was slowly beginning to fall into place. "Let's make sure the others know what we've found before we try and send something across several years, hm? This is pretty big progress and will probably be important, after all. It'd be a waste to not make everyone aware." She reiterated.

Chelsea looked fully ready to stick a piece of paper in a book, her notebook out and her hand tilted at the angle needed to rip it. “Yes...we shouldn’t be too hasty...” she muttered, closing the notebook again and shoving it back in her pocket. She exhaled, getting back up and regaining her posture. “Should we leave the books here or bring them with us? I don’t think anyone would move them, but it might be good to have the references to show them,” she was making bookmarks out of flowers, sticking them in the pages but not shutting the book. She had all these possibilities and ideas in her head, but decided to take it one step at a time, now getting ready to head back to the infirmary.

"Well, I'm just getting a crepe and some tea. Something small." Zealot said while Soo-Xue looked through the menu quickly and put it down, shrugging. "I'll just get my usual. Pancakes. What about you sis?" She asked, looking at Hyunjin. Hyunjin looked up and moved a strip of hair behind her ear. "Well, I'm getting scrambled eggs and some sausages. Kind of liked those as a kid. You liked those too. When you were younger." Soo-Xue giggled a bit. "I still do." She then looked at Lily, guessing she asked them just to get an idea of what she should get. "Thought up of anything yet?"

Lily noted what all of them were getting, still flipping through the menu. “Y-Yep! I’ve definitely thought of...something...” she was a terrible liar, shaking all over. “W-Who was paying for this again?” she asked. She didn’t want to pick anything that costed too much money, she would just feel bad about it. She could create as much money as she needed to buy stuff, but she was still nervous about splurging. She just kept reading over the drinks over and over, not daring to add even more options into the mix. Drinks were reasonably priced and easy to pick from, food could be anything but. “Maybe I’ll get the green tea...and...and cake? Is that okay?” she sounded unsure about her decision, waiting for a confirmation from someone else.

Zealot nodded. "Perfectly fine. I've got money to spend anyway. A lot of it actually." Zealot said implying she was paying for it and she had a lot of money, almost like Dr. Bright. Soon, a maid came over, a different maid from the one who had given them the menus. Completely different. "Hello, welcome to Trinity Cafe, what would you like to order?" She said. Compared to the one from last time, this one was more friendlier and fitted the environment well. Nothing about her was odd or off from the whole setting.

The waitress’s sudden appearance caused Lily to jump, once again hiding her face behind her menu. She was glad this one actually seemed to have emotions and be normal, but she still just felt on edge. Everything was so similar and yet she could almost swear she had never been there before. She took a deep breath in under the menu, before looking up at the waitress again. “I...I guess I’ll go first...if that’s alright?” She asked nervously. Something as small as ordering a cake wasn’t going to kill her, right? No paradoxes should be there. She took a few moments to wait for a response, before going along, repeating her order to the waitress, while also specifying what type of cake she wanted (a simple vanilla one). She held out her menu for the waitress to take back, managing a calm smile once again.

Marcus tiled to one side at rouges head patting and well Marcus kinda liked it even though he had gotten older... being small had it perks "soo... i assume the days been a little crazy for you then?"

Zealot just nodded her head. She assumed Lily was only asking because of the fear of creating a paradox. But from Dr. Bright's studies, it's only problematic if a future self travels to the past and starts messing with their past self. But most likely scenario was whatever happens to the past self will also just translate to the future self. As long as the future self didn't kill their past self, it would be a paradox. Or perhaps the student of a teacher somehow switch roles and they end up being the teacher while the teacher becomes their student. Now that's a paradox. Bottom line, Zealot's allowing her to order first.

Lily bobbed her head in understanding, “I-I’ll...I’ll have the green tea and the vanilla cake!” she seemed to calm down once she said her order. Somehow, saying her order was the biggest thing that caused her to be nervous. She waited for everyone else to follow suit, hoping there wasn’t some great new technology that helped order that she had no idea existed. Anything could be developed in twenty years, and while the world didn’t seem as different as a science fiction novel, it couldn’t be that things stayed exactly the same. “Yes...it was shortly after that blood sucking incident that I got thrown into the ‘portal’,” Rouge seemed reluctant to talk about that, looking away in an almost embarrassed way. For her, it was like bringing up a meal she had eaten many years ago. It wasn’t exactly uncomfortable, it was just a little weird. “Nice to see you as well Gal’Gore,” She nodded in the direction of the shadowy figure. She shrugged when Gal’Gore talked about being able to see what happened, because she wasn’t even sure she wanted to remember. “Things have been...crazy and confusing, not exactly how I hoped they would go. I don’t know why I thought they would go differently, but I did, and now I feel somewhat disappointed in the outcome,” she sighed, looking like she was holding something back inside. She actually looked almost annoyed. “At least you just get to spectate, no one’s going to ask you how to how to get back to the past, though I guess no one is really going to ask me either,” she crossed her arms and frowned, ceasing to pat Marcus on the head. “How has everything been going with you? It’s been awhile since I’ve checked in.”

Inari was ready to head to the infirmary, hearing what Chelsea said. "Hmm... We probably should take them, as to show where we even got all of this from and they can verify it if they want, hm?" She said curiously and simply, noticing the bookmarks born of flowers inside the books. Inari just realised - in the future, those books with that will be coated in vines, showing evidence and alluring whoever is close enough towards it... That's genius. Inari managed a proud smile and would be sure to head to the infirmary, and with full intent to take the books - which she did, at least the ones of significance (the bookmarked ones), while the others were put away beforehand.

Chelsea nodded in agreement, tagging behind Inari as she started walking back towards the infirmary. She wondered if the bookmarks would stay, there was always the chance that a librarian who saw them as an eyesore would rip them out, especially when it was vines. She actually tried making small talk on the short walk back, though it really wasn’t ‘small’ talk. “Maybe we should leave these books with some of our own future selves, so that there’s less of a chance of them being messed with. These books could very well be ordered to be destroyed after this situation, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were...” Chelsea suggested, “I’m getting ahead of myself, sorry,” she shook her head, now watching the floor as they made their way along.

Zealot then nodded before saying her order as well after the maid had nodded to Lily's order. She then listened to Soo-Xue and Hyunjin say their orders as well before leaving to relay the orders to the kitchen. Afterward, Hyunjin decided to ask Soo-Xue what had happened to her. While she knows she probably won't be able to ask what she had been doing all these years, she could ask what happened to her hair. "So... meimei. What happened to your hair? You didn't dye it, did you?" She shook her head, smiling. "Nope. It just started changing once I got to use my powers more often and grow more powerful. I suppose you could say all my... raging barrages of punches and shouting had a lot to do with it." Soo-Xue said with a giggle. It started to say a lot about her fighting style. Compared to Hyunjin, Soo-Xue doesn't have much regards to the family tradition of their fighting style to be charming. Though, Hyunjin looked past that and smiled. "Even though our family tradition would rather you be charming in the way you fight, you still look like you can charm with your looks now." She said as Soo-Xue blushed and looked down. It still seems she enjoys her sisters praises.

Lily had settled into silence again, taking her notebook out and pulling out a pencil from one of the first pages. She couldn’t really contribue to the conversation, so she did something else she wanted to do. She made a small square, outlining it like a Polaroid picture, and then started drawing the scene in front of her. She had done this often before, but it was mostly from memory instead of when it was right in front of her. She let the sisters catch up, not really thinking in regards to whether she looked strange or not. She just wanted to capture the memory. She could give copies of the picture to them later. Once it was done, she started another one, this time of Zealot. It wasn’t an actual replica of what was in front of her, rather a simple portrait. When she was done with that one, she held the picture out to Zealot. “W-What do you think...?” she asked nervously, the Polaroid shaking in her hand a little as she did so.

Zealot looked over to Lily when she noticed her holding the picture to her. To be honest, she was thinking back on past memories and events. "Oh. Hehe, it looks nice." Zealot answered with a smile. This also reminded her when Lily drew a portrait of her a few days after they had met and befriended one another. She was also consoling other students as well after the attack. She decided to do something similar so she held out her palm and a ball of some kind of golden liquid appeared. It then tried to morph itself into something before it became a portrait of Lily as well. It even changed its colors to match. Zealot then looked over to Lily to get her input on it. "How's it look?"

Lily giggled when Zealot complimented her picture, placing it down. "You can have it-I mean-only if you want it of course!" she said softly, moving it to where Zealot could easily grab it. She looked at it for a few more seconds, before moving her gaze back to Zealot. She perked up in surprise after she saw the liquid. "T-That's amazing!" she exclaimed, her eyes widening. "It looks really good!" she added with a smile. "If-If you don't mind me asking, what is that? I mean-I know it's a portrait of me, but the material it's made out of...what is that?" she asked, reaching out her hand as if she wanted to touch it, before snapping it back to her notebook, assuming it was something Zealot didn't want her to touch before she even got an answer.

"It's void liquid. From it, it can produce weapons and creatures I call the Shiruma. They are made from a condensed material out of the void liquid and will often change its color to fit the need. But I've learned how to manipulate it fully so it can be whatever I wish." She said before the portrait returned to being the yellow sphere of moving liquid. "I wouldn't exactly touch it. It can seep into the skin of others and infect them with a type of virus that can turn you like a zombified Shiruma. Though it's just a voice whispering in your head to do what it wants, slowly to drive you insane and brainwash you to turn you into its puppet. Sorry, I think I should've told you that before showing it to you. Glad you retracted your hand however." She then made the liquid disappear as it seeped into her skin. But she seemed fine by it. "The reason why I'm not affected by it is because I've learned to conquer it. The voice is actually owned by a Herrscher, a ruler of some part of the void. Though, the Herrscher is me. I somewhat rule the Sea of the Void. It's been like that for a long time now. More than twenty years actually." She said before wondering if that was too much information. She then remembered Lily once was exposed to Blood Magic, so she decided to explain how her powers worked in a better way. "Think of it as Blood Magic. They're both a type of liquid which can be turned into weapons and such. It's just that I can create the Shiruma from it."
