She seems deep in thought before breaking it off, shaking her head and managing a laugh. "...No worries. I'm sure we'll be fine; given our future versions exist, right?" Inari Mesix (Location: Present Trinity Crescent, Library -> Infirmary)

Chelsea stood there, trying to think of a safe alternative. “We give them to people who know how to take care of them...? Send messages with hints? We could establish a system where we put a note in the dorm of everyone who got pulled through, telling them to hold onto it until they witness their past selves coming to the future? A recorded message that Ene has to show them, telling them what books to look for, as well as who they might be with?”
Inari considered them all one by one. All plausible answers, mind you, but Inari feels the best one would be the safest, so... "I feel giving them to someone who knows how take care of them would be an idea. But out of anyone who is let here... who?" Inari thought aloud, seeming confused - though the note idea sounded plausible, it wouldn't have worked with the 'paradox clause' in place - which it is. Inari kept thinking silently for now, but eventually shrugged it off one more time, seeming undecided. "I'm sure we'll figure something out eventually, but for now... I believe we have more pressing matters to attend to." She said, the two arriving at the infirmary and Inari taking a deep breath to 'ready' herself. "Ready when you are. Let's get in there and tell the findings to them already." She said to Chelsea calmly.

Chelsea was out of ideas from there on out, letting Inari ponder them while she remained silent. “Albright and I have our own book collection...we could take care of them...” she offered softly, though it would be easy for Inari to not hear. “Yes, we’ll see what everyone else says before we make a decision, that makes sense,” she said once they arrived back at the infirmary. She opened the door for the two, Albright turning out of force of habit. “What did you find?” he had noticed the books, and assumed they had obviously found something, it was just what that something was that was unclear. Ene had also noticed the duo’s return, but didn’t say anything, giving Inari and Chelsea the quiet they would need to explain. Chelsea turned to Inari, going back to her quiet, stone-faced self. She could step in to explain if needed, but Inari seemed to understand a little more than she did, so she left the silence for Inari to end.

She opened the door for the two, Albright turning out of force of habit. “What did you find?”
Inari considered Chelsea's words by thinking on them, managing a smile. "Well, while there unfortunately wasn't much on the subject in the library, we 'were' able to find these three sources, and based on what they say..." She put them down where she could and opened them up to the pages they were once on, to display their contents. "These ought to be important details, no less generally useful information to know. Read it if you'd like, by all means, but I'll summarise it shortly." She said, the books before her wherever she set them down obviously opened up and showing these pages, all three books with their respective information, of course.
The circle is the most important part for any spell like this dangerous ritual. If not set up properly, it will not only fail, but cause disastrous damage if not properly handled. However, once it has initiated with the proper set-up corresponding to it, and after a short period of time, whatever it did will be reverted and the world should return to normal - though the 'stains' of what happened will be left behind, burnt into the scene itself. In order to 'revert' a ritual, the exact same set up and events must occur at the site of the new time period's 'ritual landmark'.

The 'time leap' ritual setup is notably forbidden due to a whole host of penalties that could happen 'after' it has been used, the literal world changing possibilities that can happen as a result (due to even succeeding to begin with and all manner of other incidents), and anyone caught in it is sent to where else it leads in time and space. As of the time this is being written, only 4 have gotten away with using this spell and not catching themselves into a random number of years into the future or into the past - of which are both entirely random. Fire for future, ice for past - the stronger the element (intensity wise), the bigger the leap.

Did you know it's possible to send messages from the past to the future? It's only a one-way communication, but if something exists in the past, as long as it exists in the future, any changes made to the former will be present in the exact same item if it is found in the future. However, there is also a heavy chance these changes will be permanent, and you must keep in mind that it doesn't take a lot of changing to change everything else.
"Thanks to these extracts, we have a bit more leverage and knowledge on this situation. Based on the site, they definitely went into the future - there was fire at the scene while it was going on, correct? We could only rationally assume they were time travelling in some degree, but this fully confirms it. We're also able to 'reverse' the ritual by doing the exact same setup in full in the exact same place, where the circle is burnt into the ground. Fortunately, according to this as well, we have a one-way communication to the future as long as we're able to slip notes and such through books, and as long as they exist in the future, our messages will remain to greet them when the message or messages is or are found." She explained, of course hoping it makes sense. "We haven't quite decided what to do as it is, but thanks to these, we may be able to decide our next move to finally get involved with our friends lost in the future - perhaps send a message of some kind." Inari seemed uncertain about what to do for this, but after she finally finished speaking, she took a deep breath and managed a smile.

Despite Zealot assuring her that she wasn't busy, Lily still felt bad about it. "I...guess that makes sense..." she reluctantly nodded. She had never been on a cruise, nor done enough research to know what it was in its entirety. She had a general perception of what it was, and she used that when Zealot said that. "But then...what should we do? We're already at the cafe...what else has been added over the last two decades?" she asked, placing her empty dishes closer to the end of the table so the waitress could access them easier.
Zealot thought of it for a second. "Well... There's been some additional installments to the campus since my arrival..." She began. "There is the Theater of Performing Arts for those who wish to do theater stuff and have powers that can be used for such. There has been a training room with all sort of stuff in it made for the Danger Class kids. The campus expanded quite a bit since it's in the middle of the forest. Oh, it is also open campus so students can come in and out as they wish. With that new choice for the students, surrounding villages and small towns have been noted and taken note to start some small businesses for the students who come to visit. Whether it be selling food or house needs or even clothes, their business has been booming because of us. There are also student who decided to take a part time job in those places too. So now the students are a lot more social with the outside world and such. It also means more work for the Danger Class students to do more patrols, security checks, and basically just keeping order, like a police force. We also work with the nearby towns as well to ensure the safety of the students and its people."

As Inari explained their findings, Albright looked over the books. He didn’t really go into depth reading them, he just skimmed over the information. “So...they would have to redo the circle in the future to get to the past, correct?” Albright wanted to make sure he was understanding what they were talking about. Chelsea bobbed her head in a nod as confirmation. “What would we put on that message? It’s not like we can test if it actually makes its way to the designated point...we couldn’t put too much on one note in fear of it being lost, but we can’t put too little in hopes that it stays...” he frowned. “Do you have any ideas?” He was looking at Inari when he said this, but he would probably also welcome an idea from anyone else in the room.

Lily sat there in silence for a second, pretty much gaping. “T-That’s a lot of stuff...” she murmured, not exactly sure where to go from there. “I’m glad to hear that students have more freedom...” she added, but seemed almost scared of the changes. Even with the move from her home to the school, she couldn’t say that she had experienced a lot in her life. Sure, she had experienced demon king attacks, but that wasn’t one the things that normal girls her age normally could experience. Most shops and towns were only plotted out in her head, without ever seeing them in the flesh. “I guess we shouldn’t go too far off the main campus...right?” she seemed almost sad, fidgeting with her skirt as she asked.

Zealot chuckled a bit. "We can go to the towns. Soo-Xue will just have to go with you, Hyunjin too. I'm sure she can still protect you while Soo-Xue does all the confronting if things start to go down." She said, trying to boost Hyunjin's confidence up again so she can stop seeing her all down. It did work but not extremely effective. It just boosted her confidence up enough to know that she can still do something in a fight. Soo-Xue finished her meal finally as Hyunjin did the same. Soo-Xue then looked at Lily and nodded. "Yep. You can count on me and my sister!"

As soon as Zealot said they could go to town, Lily's eyes lit up. "R-Really? We can?" she looked like a child who had just gotten a new toy. "Hyunjin's going to protect me! Soo-Xue's going to protect me as well!" she sang, still acting like a child. "I've never gone to a town before!" she admitted, but still seemed excited. "W-What do you do when you go to town...?" she asked softly, realizing how overexcited she had gotten over something the others probably considered to be more or less normal.

Kana kept silent during the whole group's discussion. She was confused, obviously, but didn't say anything rude to disturb them. Something about a message and a circle. 'Must be a ritual after all,' Kana thought to herself.

" Can't you guys just leave a few simple notes here and there? Assuming they will roam the place for clues, if you can't confirm the location of the notes, they will eventually come across one of them. If you're scared it might be lost, then just recruit someone with a tracking ability and boot it off in the future." Kana stated, for once not using her loud and angry tone. She was genuinely concerned for the people stuck in the future, though if some danger came their way, she was to first to ditch the group.

Soo-Xue pondered about the things they could do when they hit the town. She could only think up a select few. "Well, there are small shops we could go to and buy stuff. Y'know, buy clothes and whatnot. Shopping basically, or window shopping which is just looking at the items shops have without buying it really, only looking. There are some cafes and shops that sell stuff the Trinity Cafe might not have or may have but at better quality. Some walks in the park, visit some tourist attractions. I mean I guess there isn't much to do at a town, but since you've never been to one before, we could just go so you see what it's like." She said as she shrugged. Hyunjin was also a bit more happier that Lily seemed excited about her protection being needed. Now she felt at ease with her capabilities.

"I wouldn't mind just going to look around!" Lily said, not needing much to be entertained by going to town. "I-I'd feel bad making you spend more money on stuff, regardless of if you have a lot or not..." she said softly. "I-I'm getting a little ahead of myself, aren't I...? We haven't even paid for our meals yet!" she changed the topic again, flipping through her notebook to find the page she had drawn money on. She had already forgotten how Zealot said she would cover it, trying not to get too frantic over not being able to find the drawing.

Inari nodded in confirmation to what Albright said. "That's right - they'd need to do the exact same setup all over again - same place and everything." She said in response then after, hearing what else he thought. "Well, what I feel would be the best to send through notes to them - perhaps we should send the 'reversal' fact through first. If they're going to get out of there, they'll need to know how to do it, right?" She said factually and simply, then hearing what Kana spoke up about next - and began thinking on it.
"Can't you guys just leave a few simple notes here and there? Assuming they will roam the place for clues, if you can't confirm the location of the notes, they will eventually come across one of them. If you're scared it might be lost, then just recruit someone with a tracking ability and boot it off in the future."
"Valid points, but there are several risks in that. For one, I don't feel it's a good idea to get people out of here trapped in the same situation - even if we could, it's probably not the wisest choice. Leaving notes isn't a problem, but it's a matter of the contents and who may even find them - either the intended receivers or their alternates. That, ultimately, is up to chance, I'm afraid." Inari said simply. Valid points indeed, but there's a great deal of risk among all of them... That much can't be helped - in order to get out of this mess, Inari had suggested putting forward the 'exit method' through a note first, and hope it gets to who it is intended for.

Both were quiet and listened to what the others had to say, Albright still trying to figure this out, while Chelsea just nodded along. She had already offered enough ideas, it was up to seeing what everyone else said. “If the notes fell into another careless student’s hands, or even someone who was seeking to cause harm to others, that wouldn’t be good...” he frowned, trying to think of all the downsides before he tried to make another plan. “There’s three books, why don’t we put one in the library and under the protection of whoever the librarian is at that time? It would be off limits to students, but any faculty members should be able to access it. Chelse and I can take the other two, since we’re probably not going anywhere in the next few decades. Notes in the first book will lead to the location of the other two...” while Albright was trying to put together a plan Chelsea took out her notebook and a pen. “Here, we might as well write it down,” she said, holding the objects out in Inari’s direction. “If we end up not using it...I suppose we could just burn it.”

Lily jumped when she felt the hand on her shoulder, her own hand hovering over a drawing of money. "A-Ah...yeah...she did say that..." she stammered, slowly starting to close her notebook. "There's a lot going on, I'm getting ahead of myself...sorry..." she laughed awkwardly, hugging her notebook to her chest now. "We're going to town~" she sang softly to herself, perking up again. "So Hyunjin, when you went on your trip, the one that you got from the school, was that to go see Soo-Xue?" she asked, suddenly mentioning Hyunjin's trip.

Soo-Xue bowed her head to Hyunjin as a gesture of thanks while Hyunjin did the same to appreciate her thanks. Hyunjin then looked back to Lily while Zealot was paying the bill the maid had brought over. "To be honest, I chose the trip over everything else. The reason why I came to this school in the first place was to learn how to free Soo-Xue from the ice. Now, it's another reason, and Soo-Xue is definitely carrying it out." Soo-Xue tilted her head in confusion. "Wait, what's the reason?" She asked in which Hyunjin answered. "To protect those who cannot protect themselves, and striving to make the world a better place. That's what our elders taught us to do, after all. Even if it meant getting our hands a bit... dirty, sometimes."

"She was trapped in ice...?" Lily had either never been told that, or had forgotten it at some point. She looked away suddenly, trying to keep herself from going on a nervous stammering rant. She smiled and nodded along with the rest of what Hyunjin said, though she tilted her head again at the end. "Getting your hands...dirty? How?" she was still smiling, though it was in more of a confused way. She wasn't making any motions to leave, she didn't know where she was going after all. She just decided to keep on asking questions until someone decided to pull her along in one direction or another.

Hyunjin looked at Soo-Xue who was trying to think up of something that doesn't make them seem bad. Even though what it actually means is to do something bad for the greater good, it's not often looked at a good light. "What she means is, protecting the world from dangers the world cannot protect itself from. An example would be from our tradition as a clan. I'm sure you remember what we told you about dethroning corrupt figures of authority in ancient times, right?" She asked, wondering if Lily had remembered that detail.

"I-I still don't understand how your hands get dirty..." Lily tilted her head, but her question was soon gone once she heard Soo-Xue talk about dethroning corrupt figures. "N-No! You never told me about that!" her memory faltered, and she now looked interested. "How did you do that?"

Soo-Xue decided to... not tell her the direct truth. "Well, we just did. Our elders never told us how our ancestors dethroned false and corrupt kings..." But they did. "But all I could say it was... in a way everyone agreed." Assassination, blackmail, setup, rarely was anything they did to dethrone a king or authoritative figure considered legal. It got the job done and dusted. "The thing is, we never really revealed ourselves to the public that we did such acts." Because they were illegal and it will strike fear into the public instead and the next authority would probably try to arrest them because such acts are against the law. Though, because of modern society, the current presidents and prime ministers know about this as well as the public. History is a beautiful thing. They would never have guessed this clan still lives on. And if they knew, it was supposed to be a secret. "And I think it's best to keep it that way."

Lily still looked confused, but took their explanation for what she saw it as. She obviously didn’t pressure any farther, though she still was curious. “O-Okay...maybe I’ll look for it myself...” her voice was barely audible. She didn’t have any reason to state her thinking process aloud, she just didn’t want to stay silent. “They always have revolutions and stuff in history books, maybe there’ll be something there...” she looked at the ceiling for a second, her head still tilted to the side. “Are we almost ready to go?” she asked, looking back down at the group again.

"Just so I'm clear, you know the people sent to the future, right? Can't you just leave notes with code words that only they know?" Kana argued, getting quite frustrated with the whole 'logic-is-key' attitudes. It was either that these guys have the patience of a saint, or they were just bidding time before facing the reality of the fact that the others have to get back on their own.

"Or," Kana began to suggest, " we can boot someone off into the future and ask them to explain the matter." She was already annoyed with this, and she hoped that this ended well and fast.

Inari thought about Albright's words and seemed uncertain - most of what he said is true and/or viable; the fact of uncertainty as to who could get their hands on the books and their notes therein can't be guaranteed, and of course they'd need to keep these books safe to ensure their existence in the future. Inari then saw Chelsea with her notebook and a pen, holding them out to her. Inari nodded simply and began to write the following message on one of the pages. If possible, she would make sure nothing was on the other side of the page, and opt to tear it out. The extract would simply read the following words:

'To reverse the time leap, the exact same place and setup must be repeated - but now in the new time period. If it is the same place how it is here, it should be in the future's garden, and hopefully the circle is burnt into the ground there. If you are from the future and you stumble across this note, can you please get it to someone who can actually use this information?'

After making the note, Inari handed them back to Chelsea - both the notebook and the pen. "Right. We've got the option to use it now, but we don't neccearily 'have to', right?" She thought aloud, then hearing Gal'Gore speak up from the back. It seems he's recovered nicely.
gal'gore having been listening in very quietly still contemplating everything "well just a small suggestion just in case of any issues i could hold onto a copy of the notes? i and Marcus will be here for a very long time?" asking hopfully
"Well, that would be a good idea, actually. The incident would be documented anyway - most likely - the only problem is forming all we presently know on all of this into notes so you both can keep an eye on, you know? It's possible - I reckon I could sort that out eventually, mind you, but it may take some doing and may not be fully accurate..." Inari managed a nervous laugh as then she would hear Kana speak up, rolling her eyes.

Inari shrugged to Kana's first statement, unsure what she meant - but upon the second, she opted to speak up. "If they get there and somehow don't pass due to paradox shenanigans, who would they even go to in order to explain or get an explanation from, well aware they can't go back? We'll just be raising the number of missing people..." Inari shook her head - not a bad idea, but there was already enough people missing.

“There’s no way of knowing if the person sent through will even be sent to the same time period as everyone else...” Chelsea mumbled after hearing Kana’s idea, remembering a part of the text she had read. She took back her notebook and pen, sliding it back into her pocket while Albright took the books from her.
“If all of us have some kind of documentation of the incident, and how things work to some degree, then there should be no worries, right?” The AI finally dropped back into the conversation. “We have two or three more or less immortal beings that were here for this conversation, one may have created a transcript of it...we’ll also have the books in the grasp of someone who can take care of them, and overall we have a note that just needs to be preserved for a few years, we shouldn’t need to do anything other than place a few clues around now!” Ene nodded to her own words.
“I believe we have a plan then, correct? Once we have all this stuff where it needs to be, we’re just going to have to go on as normal as possible until they get back,” Albright concluded, knowing that the group probably wouldn’t get back the minute they placed the stuff where it needed to be. He wasn’t willing to just wait around either, as it pained him just to think of it. He was just waiting for a final consensus, he assumed adjustments could be made if needed from now until the future group finally came back.

Zealot nodded as the payment process was already completed. "Yeah. You can bring Soo-Xue and Hyunjin to the town now. Soo-Xue, don't let neither of them get into trouble. If it comes to you, sort it out. I gotta go do something." Zealot said as she got up and left to go do her business. Soo-Xue and Hyunjin stood up as well, Soo-Xue speaking first. "Alright. I can show you a map whether which town you want to go to first." She asked Lily as she looked at her, Hyunjin getting behind Lily ready to start pushing her.
