Alright, settled back in after work. I'm hoping the anima flare won't screw us over too badly when we exit the fort.

Sherwood Sherwood , Aredin has declared getting on a horse. Rashiid has declared on foot meeting us presumably outside the city using his stealth charm to blend in assassins creed style. Assuming Holst and Darian proceed on horseback I think that's how it will play out otherwise we'll all be on foot.

That's what I was goin for. I don't really plan on takin ride unless I can swipe my favorite charm in the game. Yellow Path.

Just in case anyone missed it, I posted some more xp in the Characters thread.

Geez I have that thread set to watch, and the site still drops notifications on it. That's annoying. Anyhow, I've been working on my XP spending wishlist. I doubt I'd ever get half of it, but it saves some headache for myself down the line. I'll have it posted here in a bit.

Done and done... It's a nearly exhaustive list of anything that may fit the end concept for where I'd want the character to go. I highly doubt Sail will be a major thing over the course of the campaign, but figured I'd keep that list just in case.

So I know our plan was originally to use Stormwind Rider to exit the city, but since Kwops hasn't posted in over a week I didn't have Viktor say that. Not trying to step on toes, and I'm happy to change his response to Aysik if asked, but for practicality's sake I figured it would be better to adjust that piece of RP rather than sit waiting for a post that might not come soon enough (relative to the rest of the thread).

I'm not sure that Stormwind Rider would have worked for everyone. It does have a weight limit based off of the permanent Essence of the caster, and I think it is one person per point.

Assuming Lance and Feihan dont have unfinished business, I think we're all ready. I'm excited to see where we go from here.

I am open to taking the Jade Daiklave, but my main plan is to eventually use a durable sledge so I don't mind holding off if someone else wants it. I've always liked the aesthetic of the Jade Direlance, but figure that would run even further away from Viktor RP-wise as he hasn't had any reason in his past to use one. Again, I am willing to use either one in the interest of helping effectively defend the group, but if someone else wants them I am happy to keep with my mundane hammer for now.

Well, once you guys get into the tombs, I am going to give you Artifact points to spend as you wish for your characters, along with a much smaller batch of points for a hearthstone. That way you can pick the exact kind of gear you'd like - within the point value, of course.

Likewise, though I'm gonna have to do the research again for what I'd want xD

EDIT: Forgot how underwhelming artifacts are in 2E vs 3E. I can't really think of much that I'd want that would be worth the attunement or hassle.

Sherwood Sherwood I've got an idea for a few things I'd like to spend experience on, and would like to know if I've got your approval for them.

1) I would like to purchase the First Melee Excellency, but if approved I will wait to 'learn it' until after we get in our first combat (assuming combat occurs in the ruins). I figure fighting inside Solar ruins would make for a fun place to RP epiphany charm learning.

2) I'd also like to pick up an additional language, specifically Old Realm. The RP explanation for this would be that Viktor already learned some while studying First Age crafting in Lookshy and reinforced his fluency using Dehan Sahim's library at some point in the recent past. It wouldn't contradict anything leading up to now, as he hasn't been called upon to use it yet, and would provide us another person with it in case we get split up in the ruins.

Also, if approved, would Old Realm be purchased as an additional point in Linguistics (which for me would be the second point, equating to 4 XP) or as a Linguistics specialty (costing 3 XP)? I can afford either way, but not sure how you plan to go about this.

Seems like a waste with the daiklaves we have, but I'm highly tempted to take an orichalcum weapon given the option. Trying to keep my attunement down to a minimum as well as mobility penalties, that and I doubt a shopping cart of magitech knick-knacks is in the cards just yet.

1. Depending on what you run into inside the inner chamber, I have no problem with this. You can pick up the Charm at your convenience.

2. Getting Old Realm can come in handy. Again, I have no problem with this.

3. You can spend the xp to get a dot in Linguistics.
