Sherwood Sherwood I forgot to ask! Are there any changes brought about by Pale Heaven's Star's player leaving? Like any changes or will he be NPCed or something?

Sherwood Sherwood

Thanks to Red I just realized I did a math error!

On each of those two clinch attempts, I was rolling 5 dice short.

I had called for a Virtue Channel but forgot to add the 5 dice of valor on the first clinch.

On the second clinch, I thought I had added the 5 dice, so just subtracted 5 from my the total.

So yeah. Ragnar was totally going easy on the guy.

(Wont ask for any rerolls! But might ask for that WP back)

Alright, I think I got all that right, so first attack is out, gonna resolve these one at a time, cause the charm mix is pretty heavy and I'm about to burn most of everything I have to see this Demon forced to spend time reforming in Malfeas.

The rest of my motes I'm gonna have to save for Iron Kettle Body. Otherwise, I'll get dropped pretty quick I think. I'm assuming Kuridin will nuke the Dragon-Blooded and Octavian with the AoE. The Abyssal would hopefully have a perfect soak if they intend to survive a conflict against this circle.

Well, even with a perfect defense, with all of us hammering on him, he cannot maintain it for long before running out of motes.

Unfortunately, I have rather unlucky rolls for Attacks 2 and 3. Lotta motes burned for not a lot of return, that's a real shame.

At least the damage roll was great, despite far less dice than I was aiming for, so that's certainly a plus.

Neo's been out of town, so I'll ask these questions on his behalf in the interest of saving time.

The Abyssal seems to flow like blood around your blows, evading them completely.

Dragon Blood 1 gets hit for 10 successes. His soak is just 5 lethal.

Dragon Blood 2 gets hit for 9 successes. His soak is 4 lethal.

The demon, on the other hand, barely gets hit with 0 extra successes. His soak is 19 lethal.

Go ahead and roll damage.
Is that counting for the 6 attacks worth of onslaught the demon just suffered the prior tick (as well as the DV penalty from his own action)?

I asked him to include these details as well, but it must've slipped. The attack is piercing (so halves armor soak) from Sun-Sword Concentration and deals Agg to Creatures of Darkness from Enemy Castigating Solar Judgement.

Included was also Spirit Cutting Attack, which is a bit of a formality of the character's signature combo, but any dematerialized spirits would be subject to the attack at a -2 external penalty on the roll (which I forget my jargon on 2E penalties, but I think that simply means they defend against 15 rather than 17). However, this charm is redundant in that ANY spirit, materialized or otherwise, will take Agg from the attack.

Damnit, I keep forgetting the onslaught penalty. Yes, the attack hits the demon with more. Let me adjust my post.

Sorry to keep pestering about them man but with DVs that high it's our only hope of reliably landing hits. lol

Also, don't forget, Octavian is definitely facing piercing Agg. So wouldn't his soak be more like 7 than 19?

Fixed.

Ooh... ouch.

Kuridin has the first purchase of Golden Destruction Cut (Permanent upgrade to Hungry Tiger Technique)... so...

Dragonblooded 1 is facing (7(wep) - 5(soak) + 10(treshold)*3(HTT+GDC))*2(TBA)*2(OWTB)=128 dice of Lethal Damage
Dragonblooded 2 is facing (7 - 4 + 9*3)*2*2=120 dice of Lethal Damage
Octavian is facing (7 - 7 + 6*3)*2*2 = 72 dice of Aggravated Damage
