My problem is that the dice rolling and stats are all different in the new ones people know. I played the 2nd edition, but nearly everyone I meet plays 5th. It's like the rules were reversed at some point so it really confusing to me

Oh god yea traditional D&D and pathfinder stuff confused the hell out of me that's why I stuck to homebrew RPGs -- I'm bad with an insane amount of stats/rules/etc, I will Absolutely Forget

Haha, you have to be good with numbers for sure. Dad usually DMs if he has time to put a story together.

However, if you like the D&D world types, I 110% recommend reading DragonLance. It's a huge series, but it is someone's adventure they took the time to write out while playing.

He doesn't, I keep a lot of my chars in reserve for a bit since I tend to stockpile until they're needed lol

I can throw him in if you want him -- I was wondering if he'd stumble into the prison break

yea I gotchu -- I still have yet to use Hana either, I wasn't sure if I wanted her as a prison guard or out arresting ppl
