The only good alchemist, who was still living, that Shirabe knew was Elfnien. So, naturally she became wary of this person.

Looks like Ed wasn’t the only one to mistake Terra for an alchemist!

I admittedly don’t know much of anything about Symphogear, so I’m definitely interested in learning more about Shirabe’s perspective on alchemists/how alchemy works in that series

Just about everyone in the main series that uses magic like abilities (besides Symphogear users) are alchemists in Symphogear.
And they are usually enemies so Shirabe sees magic, thinks alchemist, and now is suspicious.
