Vanessa nodded and took a step into the room, examining it's contents. She couldn't exactly connect with Alec's feelings as she'd never had any siblings, but she knew it must have been difficult for him.
"Well... Sorry about your sister," she said, although she had no idea why someone would leave their freewill behind to work for the government.
Vanessa found herself wandering around the room, not yet comfortable enough to sit down. This whole situation made her uneasy; being forced to trust people she barely knew only because other people she barely knew were after her. The enemies of her enemies were apparently her only option. It didn't necessarily mean she liked it.
