This is it, the apocalypse 1x1

Alec took the hint, and since he'd gotten the information he was so keen to find out, he decided to stay quiet for the time being. Gabriel, seeing that Matthias would probably take care of Aiden, turned to leave, against what he wanted to do. What he wanted to do was go and pull the smaller man to him, tell him everything was going to be ok, and to reassure him of it. Reality was a bitch. He instead went below deck, far enough so that Aiden wouldn't hear him when he let out a cry of rage, letting his fist fly at a wall, not breaking it, but enough to tear his knuckles satisfyingly into ribbons. He was sick and tired of dealing with his brother's thirst for revenge, sick and tired of being in the dark about the cause, and sick and tired of people around him being tortured because of it.

"Hell's a bitch." Matthias said, simply out of no where, Aiden stood, dusting himself off "Lucifer's a bitch." He said, the two exchanged glances then nodded firmly at each other. Each had their own point, and each was right. For now Matthias focused on steering and Aiden, being the night owl he was, started to wander- with the occasional stumble, and crashed into the nets between the sails. How he'd gotten there was beyond Matthias, who hadn't been looking, but the hybrid seemed comfortable enough, he'd leave him be for now. He seemed lost in thought anyway, and he was. All he could think about was Lucifer's final rule- and all the ways he could break it.

Alec was up early, as he usually was. He didn't know why, but he never slept for more than four hours in the AM, or else he began to grow restless from lack of motion. He was at the edge of the ship again, in the back this time, peering over at his two other ships that he'd brought. He frowned, one seemed to be pulling up alongside them, strange since he didn't think they were signaled ant they'd been ordered to stay in formation. He crossed the deck to Matthias, intending to pursue the question. Trouble was the last thing they needed to have in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by water that held god know's what.

"Did you signal to them? Why are they pulling alongside us, is something wrong?"

Aiden rolled around in his sleep, which he'd gotten little of. At some point he'd rolled off from the nets and hit the deck below, which was a long fall. He groaned, pushing himself up as he looked over, seeing the boat pull up beside them. He blinked, was that normal or? He looked up to see Alec and Matthias presumably arguing. What was new? He shook himself off and looked around again, nothing else seemed to be happening than the mentioned. He headed away from the action. He needed anything but right now. Silence and darkness was all he needed, and he was getting neither. When did he ever get anything he wanted though? Not often, most often all he didn't want, curtsy if Lucifer himself.

Gabriel sat against the wall, not even having the attention span to be aware of the darkness around him. He was leaning against the back of the room, the rocking of the ship only highlighting his unpleasant mood. He had no idea what time it was, unable to see the sky, and he'd been sitting in pitch black for hours since he couldn't sleep. Because if he did, Lucifer was probably going to try and get back at him for helping the hybrid. He could fend the man off when awake, but asleep? He was no match for his brother's mind games. His eyes shot open, however, when a loud bump rocked the ship - another boat?

----

"What's going on - "

"We found a man on our ship, he was down with the supplies," the other man explained to Alec, who was peering over the side of the ship. Aboard the other deck, he could see a curly haired man being pulled across, and he didn't look happy. At all. He looked at Matthias. "I'll handle this...bring him over," he added, addressing the other captain in regards to the stowaway.

"Who the hell is he?" Aiden leaned into Matthias's side, obviously still tired as one eye was closed and one was not. The man was an unfamiliar face which was the last thing he needed right about then. He'd had enough of those. Matthias patted his head, much like a dog "Don't know." Matthias muttered, he himself was tired but he still has days to go before he could sleep, or he assumed he did. This delay would only agitate him further but he could hold back on his sharp comments for now "How are you faring?" Matthias asked, looking down at Aiden "Shittily. I can't wait to get off this damn thing. I need solid land Matti or I'll dieeee." Aiden groaned, sliding into a sitting position on the ground "All I heard was that you're not dead. That's all I care." Matthias shrugged.

Alec had called up two of the crew to take hold of the new man, though he didn't really struggle. More just went with it, which was strange, considering the fact that he both walked and acted like a born and bred soldier, making him look menacing regardless of his size - which, to be honest, wasn't that small either. It might have been the boyish features in his face that made him look younger than he actually was, but there was a certain steeliness to him that Alec made sure not to underestimate. Alec crossed the deck, looking him over before asking the question. "Who the hell are you?"

And the answer he got was even more surprising than finding the man on his fleet. He spun around, walking to Aiden. "Will you...will you go get Gabriel? Somehow...for some reason...the archangel Michael's found his way aboard this ship.

Aiden let his head roll back as he groaned "Aye." He didn't want to move but he would- and don't even get him started on why he even listened he was only half awake. He rolled over getting up and dragged himself off to find his friend in the lower deck. Matthias could tell he needed sleep by the way he listened without question. Aiden did not take orders... Unless he was tired, in which he then had no strength to come up with some snotty remark. He turned back to the man who'd been brought aboard. He didn't really look like a threat but Matthias was terrible at determining who to trust and who to trust and who to not. He left that to Aiden who either snarled at someone or didn't. Easy yes or no.

"You...you look just like him.Gabriel. Who are you?" Michael said, blinking, confused as he stared into Alec's face. Alec was silent for a few moments, inspecting the man in front of him still. He finally stepped back, crossing his arms. "That's not important...how did you get on this ship, is the more important one..."

"I followed Gabriel and his hybrid friend through the pass, over from Earth. Or what was left of it. We all knew, us angels I mean, when they'd opened it...it sent of a large energy signal, and I've been tracking them ever since."

Aiden pushed up the hatch to get into the lower deck and slipped it, he squinted as his eye automatically got used to the darkness. His eyes suddenly felt a hell of a lot better, as if thanking him dearly for the new found darkness. He blinked a few times as his body begain to settle in, he wished it wouldn't. He was here for only on reason "Gabriel?" He knew the angel had to be down here somewhere seeing as he was no where above deck and thus, here he was. Now that he was thinking rationally he was trying to figure out what exactly, no, wait, who exactly he'd just taken up this job for.

In the mean time Matthias blinked, so, then...That was where Aiden was from. Earth. He'd never been but he knew that it was the real world, Limbo, in which he lived, was nothing but a shadow of Earth- and that was the sad part. Aiden had already known him, and he him, even before they met. He wondered faintly what he'd been like back on Earth, who he had been, how he'd lived- but that was a question he knew Aiden wouldn't answer, and he wouldn't ask.

"Here...what's happening?" Gabriel said, groaning as he got up from the floor, dusting himself off. The bump from what presumably had been another ship had caused him to his his head against the wall, and it did nothing but add to the growing migraine that had begun earlier. Naturally, he was expecting the worst. What else could he, the way the last three weeks had gone. What would it be this time...more sky scraper sized demons? Creepy warlocks? His vengeful older brother?

Aiden perked up and followed the voice. Yawning, he did his best to remember the man's looks "Some...Curly haired, angry looking hobbit is looking for you on the upper deck." He said, clearly still out of it no matter how in it he looked. Whatever 'it' was. Looked like his angel friend was just as tired, or worse. He did look worse to be honest, but then again, Aiden had never really wondered what the guy went through every time something happened. He hadn't thought of that, but, now that he did- remembering every reaction the man had had to the events himself, it was probably a lot more stress than Aiden had been having himself.

"What is a hobbit..." Gabriel wondered as he followed Aiden back up, sighing as the sunlight warmed his skin to the touch, only for that very same breath to catch in his through as he turned the corner. "Oh my G- Michael?" he shouted, wide eyed. Of all the things that could have happened...well no. His life just kept surprising him didn't it. And this was certainly no exception. Something had changed...the mistrust in his brother's eyes was absent, replaced only by the shimmer of similar shock and then guilt. Michael shoved off the men holding him, standing up straight to his earlier non - discernible full height, and strode across the deck to embrace his little brother. Gabriel was at first to surprised to move, but quickly wrapped his arms around the other man's middle, unsure if to laugh, to cry or both. He did, however, hear the words said into his ear with Michael's trademark sincerity.

"I'm so sorry..."

Alec watched the exchange before signalling to the crew to go back to what they were doing, and for the other ship to return to it's position. They could sort out the strangeness behind the newly discovered archangel while they were still moving. Matthias wasn't the only one getting a bit edgy after all...

Aiden about snorted when he heard Gabriel's comment, not knowing what a hobbit was, angels. That aside, and speaking of, he stepped aside when Michael came over to embrace Gabriel. The hybrid moved right around them without any sort or of reaction before stretching, and seating himself next to Matthias- who was in fact standing and...staring. He wasn't sure what he'd just witnessed. If he had to guess he would guess some kind of family reunion. Aiden didn't seem to have the same reaction, or any, as Alec or Matthias which could be questionable- and it was, at least to Matthias it was, Hell Aiden didn't even look surprised and he had to wonder if he'd seen this coming...But that was...Unlikely, and Matthias quickly brushed the thought aside.

Gabriel had wanted to be angry. He wanted to be angry at his brother for not believing him, causing the rest of the five to hate him and ultimately blaming him for causing the fall back to earth from heaven. He wanted to be angry at the fact that Michael had left him with the voices in his head, and had the nerve to compare him to Lucifer - quite an insult coming from that particular Archangel. But the fact was, the man was here now, and Gabriel just couldn't bring himself to that anger. he was just glad that out of all this crap, one good thing had emerged. But then he couldn't help his fingers from feeling the rough edges on Michael's back, shaped like a V and slightly protruding from the skin there. What was left of his wings. He pulled back, looking at the older man, but Michael shook his head. "No more hate little brother. Not from me, not from you. Too much of it has gone around already."

Gabriel nodded, blinking, although purposely keeping his wings tucked tightly against his back. "You followed us here?" Gabriel asked, deciding it was the only explanation. "Are the others here? With you?"

"Yes and no. I did follow you, but I came alone...but speaking of others," Michael said, eyeing the rest of the ship's inhabitants. "Who're they? And why is there...well...a demon with you?" He asked afterwards, deciding on the word as he didn't know if that was entirely what Aiden was, but he wasn't trying to offend anyone. Obviously if his brother was with them, he was helping, and Michael was never one to begin fights. Unless it came to Lucifer.

Aiden looked up, examining this 'older brother', his amber eyes seemed to have a new spark behind them, but even Matthias didn't notice. The examination was all he gave before adverting his attention somewhere else. It was obvious, however, that normally the demon was full of snarky comments but now he was anything but- almost mute to be honest. That much, Matthias noticed. He looked down at his friend, who seemed to be occupying himself with watching the waves passing by now that they were moving. Matthias wanted to nudge his friend, wondering if he was even still alive, but brushed that off too. He was probably just tired. Yeah, he always got quiet when he was tired. He moved his head back up to look at Micheal himself, the man looked dignified. That was respectable he supposed.

Gabriel nodded, turning slightly to face the others as he addressed them all. " This is Aiden...I came out with him from earth as you probably already know. He'd a hybrid, in case you haven't noticed - trust me. I didn't," he added with a wink and a small smile to the man before he turned to Matthias. "Our captain, Matthias...and then Alec, the current King's Hand to Redmont castle and...my son."

Michael let his chocolate gaze pass over them all, before he nodded politely, deciding to ask about the hybrid and the sorter boy later, in private. "Hm. Well. Allow me to introduce myself then...Michael Lightwood."

Aiden didn't seem to notice the smile and wink, probably because he wasn't looking, as he was all but lost in thought. He did, however, listen to all that Gabriel was saying. You could tell by the way his ears would twitch occasionally. He gave a quick glance at Matthias over his shoulder, in time to catch him nod at Micheal when he was introduced, and then he turned his head back around. The demon narrowed his eyes, staring into the distance as if there was something there. There was not, however.

As Gabriel and Michael made their way to another area of the ship, no doubt to catch Michael up on the events that had happened, Alec was again left to his thought. And his thoughts were usually best expressed in the form of unyielding personal questions. He turned to Matthias, hands on his hips as he stared unwavering right at him as he thought, something he'd definitely inherited from his father. Apple didn't fall too far from the tree.

"Why are you here?" He asked suddenly, deciding what inquiry had to be made first. "I mean, you're human aren't you? Not many humans end up in Redmont. Or anywhere around here actually. Why you? How? I'm curious..."

Matthais looked over at the teen, who was resembling a woman right about then, then way he put his hands on his hips. He cocked his head at the word human "Quite correct, not many humans do make it to Redmont, which would explain why I'm not one of them. Not anymore that is." Matthias said this casually before turning his attention back to the sea. Now this, this had really caught Aiden's attention. His ears stiffened and he listened right into this one. He had always been curious about Matthias and now he was just simply dying to know. Matthias didn't even seem to realize the weirdness in what he'd just said.

Alec wasted no time.

"Well what the heck are you then? You're not a bloody vampire, are you? Because those things creep me out. Reminds me too much of leeches - too bad salt won't work on them...or will it? I'll have to look into that later," he said thoughtfully, making a mental note to try it one day - on a willing subject of course. He wasn't that much of a mad scientist. This only distracted him for a minute, and he looked back up at Matthias, now tapping his foot. "Cut the suspense, then, cap. What are you?"

Matthias glance down on the tapping foot, he decided it would be best...No, it would be most amusing to play with the teen. Just a bit "Oh nothing special. Shouldn't worry too much about it." He hummed. It was true he was no longer human, and he could easily tell Alec what he was, but that was too easy. Too blunt. He debated on whether to make the boy figure it out on his own or not. Was that too cruel? He was a smart one, surely he could figure it out on his own...Well, not without the nudge, but that would give it away. He'd leave it to him

"Oh no you don't," Alec huffed, moving closer and resting his elbows on the wheel, knowing it'd bother Matthias to no end that someone else that than him was touching it at the same time. "I'm not going anywhere until you tell me, Captain or not. And besides, now I'm curious that you won't tell me. Something to hide, I wonder? You're not a demon like that one - "he pointed at Aiden, glancing down before looking back again. "- And you're not Nephillim. That's highly unlikely. So what are you?"

Matthias blinked, watching him set his elbow on the wheel, then looked back over at Alec who seemed all but determined to figure out what he was. He really wanted the other to take his elbow off the wheel. He really, really wanted him to. But that would be giving in, if he told him "It's nothing, really." He shrugged, looking towards Aiden, who he knew was listening, but wasn't saying anything about what he was hearing. He knew he'd get a mouth full from the demon later on but for now, he was getting a mouth full from someone he didn't need it from.

Alec though for a moment before leaning forward, with that mischievous look on his face that most of the people that'd been around for long periods of time had learned to be wary of. Luckily, Matthias was not one of those people. He reached out, still leaning on the wheel with his other elbow, and let his fingers run over one of the clasps on Matthias's shirt, letting all five brush against it before he hooked his index finger in one, pulling it open with a flick of his wrist. His eyes never left the other man's as a smirk crossed his face. "It's nothing? Come on, Matthias...you should know by now that I'm not one to give in so easily. I like knowing things. And keeping them secret, so...tucked away...it only makes them more desirable."
