This is it, the apocalypse 1x1

The man wasn't fond of physical contact, through the days that they'd been traveling one should have known that by now. Whatever the reason was for Aiden had yet to reveal or admit it but- but. This would have to be an exception, he supposed. Whether it was because he was too drained to complain or because he simply didn't mind at all, he gave no struggle to the hug. He couldn't remember the last time he'd been held at an embrace, a real one, not like the time Gabriel had been holding onto him when he came out of a Lucifer filled coma of sorts. What an annoyance that had been, honestly, luckily he had the feeling he wouldn't be going through one again, or rather hopefully he supposed. This wasn't helping his current situation though, tired as he was and as much warmth as the embrace was giving off despite the angel's natural 'chill factor' one could say, but of course the hybrid's heat always won over that. Needless to say it wasn't long before he started leaning in and before his eyelids drooped before closing. There was also the hope that Briar hadn't been right when she said that he wouldn't wake up if he fell asleep because if that was the case then hell, he was dying in the other's arms. On the brighter side, he hadn't fully drifted off, just enough to lose touch with the world around him for a moment as actually falling asleep seemed to be impossible if he wasn't actually laying down either on his side or his stomach. Sleeping on his back was also an impossibility. For whatever the reason, everyone seemed to have their little quirks and these were just the few of his but for now he wasn't focused on that. He was simply focused on the comfortableness that seemed to surround him.

Gabriel let his chin drop lightly onto the top of Aiden's head, still silently holding the other in his arms, glad he was being allowed to and enjoying it while it lasted. And he would let it do just that until the hybrid was ready. His jet black feathers shifted behind him as his wings stretched out behind him, them moved forward, crossing in front of himself and behind Aiden as he himself relaxed all that he could. The hybrid felt so small, so fragile almost against him - though those that made the assumption that he was weak would be very sorry to find their mistake. Regardless, Aiden would always be his to protect, his alone, even at this point - even if they did talk and Aiden decided it was only a fluke, a mistake, for Gabriel's lips to touch his own. The youngest Archangel had made his decision and was sticking with it till the end, and moments like these? They would be a bonus, and as much as he was trying to comfort Aiden, somehow the action itself had ended up comforting him too in some way that Gabriel never even had realized he needed, probably because he hadn't encountered any thing like this, like the hybrid, before. "Mine, Aiden...mine."

He didn't even realized he had whispered it until it was out of his mouth, his words echoing what he already through into the smaller man's ear. He meant it. He'd live - and if need be, die by it if he had to. He only wished this moment wouldn't be followed by what he knew it had to be.

Aiden had been at the point somewhere between sleep and reality, that point where you felt like you were constantly falling though it only lasted for a few seconds however- due to his inability to sleep at the moment- he was stuck in that fleeting feeling. There was a distinct difference between falling and flying however he wasn't sure exactly what it could have been right at that particular moment, as he wouldn't have been able to distinguish his feeling from either. It had been a godawful long journey, from the very start that was, though it was agonizing how long it felt like it had been when- hell, in reality? If he was counting right, it'd only actually been six days in total from the time that they'd entered Limbo to exactly now. One night for the time in the Grigori, another for the night at Redmont, maybe three days to get to Infernum, and now another day had passed them by. Six damned days, not even an actual week, and already so much shit had blown by- which was exactly why Aiden valued the present, the exact moment that was happening right then and all it was worth, because he knew he wouldn't get another like it. Not for a long, long while. Not with the oncoming war, no, and he didn't know what exactly all of that would pertain to...And maybe that's what he hated most. People died in wars, that was always a factor of it, casualties were to be expected, and the worst part was never knowing who it was going to be or when it was going to happen. One, two even, people had already died for his sake and he didn't dare want that to happen again. Not again. Despite his lack of full memory, due to him blocking it out and Azazel burying it deep behind that subconscious, Aiden knew he'd already lost- no, what, who, he'd already lost. He didn't want to add to that list, not on the chance that it was by Lucifer's or any other demon's hand. But then again, he didn't have control over that, did he? If there was one thing, one thing he hated over all, it was not having control over just what happened and when. Then again, everybody must have hated that at some point, but this wasn't then, this was now, and right now he could hear the other's words drifting right into his ear. They were clear, to be honest, very clear. Clear enough to catch his attention, drag him out of that sleep like state and have him shift his head to look up. The sky was scattered with stars as the evening rolled by them, already turning dark and signaling two more days until the end of it all. Though, two stars in particular seemed to catch his attention, they were green. Green, bright, and staring down at him. He favored those two the best out of the whole selection.

Gabriel woke to a soothing warmth beneath him, presumably the same warmth that had lulled him to sleep in the first place. He was on his side now, and one of his eyes opened slowly, landing on the raven haired head in front of him. When had he fallen asleep - it took him a second to remember, presumably due to the rest he'd had, and it had been a good one. And then he did remember, the night before, embracing Aiden and relaxing even more so when he had been allowed to, and had whispered those words in the other's ear. He'd taken the hybrid's hand after watching him look up, the gaze itself drawing him in as much as his own apparently did to the other. He'd wanted to kiss him again but...the last thing he wanted to do was scare Aiden off, especially in this moment. All the same he was aching to have the man all to himself while he could, because with things falling out of orbit around them, he - like anyone else - didn't know how long they had until the violence broke out, more so than it already had. And they'd need their rest, or at least Aiden would, he was still human. Or part. And Gabriel didn't overlook this, moving only to lead the Hybrid across the deck and below it, intending to only bring him to the room he'd claimed. Stepping inside along with the other once they'd reached it. He probably should have left after that, should have gone back up, sorted other things out but...he didn't. He didn't, and he had ended up lying after Aiden, not intending to sleep but ending up with the warmth and the comfort sweeping him into the state anyway - and now he was here.

His arm was draped over the hybrid, his own chest pressing against Aiden's back while he felt the other move against him, breathing slowly. It was the most relaxed Gabriel had ever seen the man, and he didn't want to break that. He just wanted to watch, take it all in, remember it. He leaned forward, pressing a soft chaste kiss on the skin in front of him, light as it was the feel of it still burned against his lips and he breathed out slowly, letting his eye close again, letting himself enjoy this escape while it lasted. Things like this, moment's like this, they made him want to forget reality, and just live in whatever they had.

Aiden couldn't remember how he'd gotten there, or recall that he ever did, then again he wasn't exactly thinking about it. He was sleeping on it, quite literally. The bed, and it wasn't his either, no his was across the hall. Funny, but, he guessed that's how it went. The hybrid, perusal, was on 'downtime' as he slept, practically shutting down to conserve heat and to sleep more easily. He couldn't remember the last time he'd slept, actually slept, not went to sleep and had the devil screwing with him. Now that was a pain in the ass. Now, however, didn't seem to be the case, and he was free to let his mind wander to whatever it would have normally. Azazel may have had his subconscious, but his mind was his own, and the demon would never be able to take it fully. As such, he was still human after all, and humans dreamt. Whatever it was he'd dream of, was dreaming of, was an interesting question for those who could only watch.

"Here." Aiden blinked, looking at the tags that had been handed to him, dog tags. His gaze switched to the man handing them to him, his father of course, with that usual strict look on his face, like always "Well. Let's see. I wasn't and won't be in the military, and I'm not a dog, sir, I'm pretty sure. So, you're giving me these because...?" He asked, leaning as he examined the metal his father was holding out to him, and he refused to retract his hand until Aiden took the tags. Reluctantly, he did so, pulling the chain up and over his head and around his neck, eyes never leaving the man as he gave a questioning look. He was expecting an answer to his question. A moment passed, as if the other was evaluating how they looked on him before he moved his gaze sideways, watching the nightlife in the streets a distance from them "You know...Me and your mother won't always be around-" Aiden zoned out for a moment. This one dying, he didn't mind too much, but, he was walking on thin ice the moment he brought his mother and death into the same sentence. That was unnecessary. That was sickening, and he didn't want to think about it. That was a long ways away, a very long ways off, and he didn't like thinking about it too early "-their parents, and that's why I got you those." The man gestured to the metals around his neck. He gazed down at them, then frowned "Is this even English?" He asked, holding them up, seeing the names were carved in some odd symbols "No it's...Something else. Though, I'm sure you'll have no trouble distinguishing the two, no?" He looked up at his father, then back down, squinting. The symbols...Moved? They moved, yes, and created the two names he knew all too well 'Kendra' & 'Carlos'...Aiden frowned, then looked up at the man, who- did he know? Know that he'd seen the symbols move, he meant. Because there was a rather...Was that shock on his face? He opened his mouth, eyebrows furrowing, making Aiden give a surprised look of his own. He never thought he'd see the day where this one was actually confused. Or was that something more concerned. Whatever it was, he quickly shrugged it off "Did you- I mean...Never mind, it's not important. Let's get back, shall we?"

Camille wondered the ship, flitting from area to area until she had the entirety of the massive vessel memorized. She didn't like being lost, and though it bothered her that she didn't know where she was at first, she had made Gabriel explain exactly where the ship had been and where they were going. It was not her world - or even her realm. And she didn't understand why this was, though the angel that had brought her here said he would be returning, and with that he would bring answers, but she didn't get a chance to read his thoughts before he'd disappeared into smoke. Her guardian angel, she supposed, or at least that was what she'd strung together from what she'd read and what she'd experienced. Raphael, that was his name, however he was slightly different than what the humans believed about him. He'd told her about this realm, about her parents, her fathers. She didn't remember much. But she had apparently gotten her eyes from them both, one a deep brown, and another a gold flecked hazel. She often wondered if she'd recognize them. But Raphael had wisely hid their names from her, and for some reason she couldn't read anything from him. dissapointing. She hadn't had much practice with burrowing into people's thoughts, and what she did gain from her abilities were simply the musings that whoever around her let roam free, which to her made it fair game to read. Sometimes it was fine, and other times...well. She hadn't exactly meant for Alec to end up storming away from Matthias. She'd just wanted to help.

Now though, she wondered away, walking along the edge of the ship, letting her own wondering's consume her mind. Now that she was here, she hoped to find her parents, hoped that they would be happy to see her - though there were the many times she'd tried to figure out what she'd done wrong for them to send her away.

Briar had situated herself in th braces off the side of the ship, watching the dark view below, literally and metaphorically. Aiden and Gabriel had left god knows how long ago, Matthias looked like he hadn't slept in weeks- and she didn't know if that stood true or not and she'd lost track of Alec- however, for now, she looked down at a smaller moving mass. One that had arrived the same day she had, and yet, her origins were less explained than her own. At least they knew where she herself had come from, the little one remained a mystery- And all mysteries were meant to be solved, at least that was one way to put it in Briar's mind. She stretched, linking her arm through on of the net holes before coming in through another and holding up her head with that free palm as she stared- softly - down at Camille who was now walking the upper deck.

Speaking of decks, the lower one still held a sleepy Aiden, who was just now stirring from a rather useless dream. He didn't know why he he'd been dreaming what he had, useless memories they were and with that said they no longer mattered. It'd taken him a while to remember what exactly had caused him to find himself where he was, but he didnt care to be honest. It met all his imidiate requirements. Heat and darkness. His eyes only opened so much, however, before he rolled right over and rather unknowingly pressed into Gabriel's chest before curling right up, turning his back on the reality he'd woken up into just to have some peace for that much longer. He'd drag this time out for as long as possible if it meant that he could keep all this.

Gabriel opened both eyes this one and blinked at the pleasant surprise of Aiden curling into him. He shifted slightly, moving the arm that had formerly behind his own head, gently tugging Aiden over onto his chest as the Angel lay on his back, both arms now wrapped around the hybrid. He did owe everything to Aiden didn't he...if it wasn't for him, Gabriel never would have found the gates. Never would have gotten off earth, or been able to see what was left of his family, or realized Alec was alive. That and the fact that Gabriel was immensely glad he'd run into Aiden himself...and had fallen for him. Undoubtedly.

----

Camille had thought she was alone in the area she was in, that is until her ears picked up a slightly louder rustle from above. She looked up to see Briar - the girl who'd arrived just before she did. Briar's min was rather interesting. It was...lighter, compared to that of the others, in terms of how she sifted through the other girl's thoughts. She didn't know much about Briar but Camille wasn't uncomfortable being near her, and now that she was the only other person that might talk, the smaller Archangel had no qualms with making conversation.

She moved forward, grasping one of the ropes hanging from above, and she began the climb upwards, though she didn't dare look down. Instead she smiled, only a hint of tiredness in her eyes as she beamed at Briar, nearing her now with her accent. "Hi...no one else is awake really, except Matthias and Alec, but they're grumpy. I think," she murmured, glancing down one time before reaching the other girl and managing to glide over to her shortly on her wings, landing lightly on the spot in her hair in-between the odd looking horns.

---

Alec had eventually retreated to busy himself below deck in the meeting room, and was currently trying to piece together what he'll he ha just discovered - quite literally, as this Pureblood was something to worry about. Kris had just spent the last seven years soaking up any and everything he could learn about demons, more specifically their dark energy and ways to exploit it. Alec on the other hand had spent it mastering every single technique or form of Runes, even those he could not create himself, and he wondered if a certain one could be used now. Several theories had circulated between the two of them, but that would obviously have to wait, and the young Nephillim didn mind, for now. He had something else, a more...delicate situation to take care of, though he was reluctant to.

He climbed the steps to the main dech again, pausing for a moment before rounding the corner, setting his eyes on a very sleepy looking yet determined Matthias. He approached rather carefully, though his expression was weary from what had gone on earlier, but the truth was...if Matthias wanted not to speak of it, tht was fine by him. It would never work anyway, tht much was obvious. He told himself he was only here out of a responsibility he'd been called to do, and rift now it included making sure his Captain didn't collapse at the wheel from fatigue. "Matthias...you need to sleep. And do /not/ make me drag you below deck, I'm not in the mood, but I damn well will if you won't a least get your eight hours."

Briar made a small, welcoming smile as the littler girl settled in between her horns. She'd forgotten those things were even out, pesky things they were but it seemed to be serving her guest a comfortable seat for the moment. Her eyes led down at the two mentioned men, well, it was just now the two of them. Alec had been missing for a while up until now, and she wasn't sure what he'd said but Matthias was looking little more than displeased. Of course, there might've been a sense of defeat on his face, which really was pitiful, she could see the nonexistent tail of his drop right between his legs and those invisible ears droop right down "Ah, don't mind them, they're probably just tired. It's been a long trip from what I can tell." She said, glancing up at Camille, though she couldn't really see the girl she knew what she was supposed to be looking at. The girl, beyond a doubt, was charming looking, her looks pulling themselves together, and Briar had no doubt that she would grow up to be much more so. Whoever her parents, she'd sucked everything good out of their genes. Briar crossed her legs, looking down to find that Matthias was missing, he must have gone under and headed for bed. Then again, he looked like he hadn't seen such a thing in a very, very long while. From what she could collect, Alec wasn't having any of that and now the other man was under-deck. He'd be back, she knew he would, not by any powers but only by the fact that Matthias looked a sturdy man, and she doubted he would listen to the king's hand for very long. Whatever authority he'd back home, it would work not on the pirate, who'd refused to live by the rules of the aristocrats that he despised so. However, it would seem he thought Alec higher than that, as he had in fact listened in the first place. She wasn't sure what had gone on between the two before but it'd seemed to do something to them. She'd been too busy trying to tap Aiden into Azazel's head. Proven hard, but easier than tapping into that of Abaddon's. Not that she could, no, but she'd seen that man before he left for the underground. They way he walked around, the way he seemed to snap at every living thing. Then Again, he was, after all, the brains of everything that had ever been with Hell. So, of course, he must've kept his mind locked up tighter than Infernum did their prisoners...Which wasn't very much, considering they'd just broken out. She wished she could've stayed for longer and explored a bit, but that was dangerous and something that wasn't possible. She would settle for Redmont, that was where they were headed, and she was more than excited to see just what it was like. She expected much of it, and Limbo in general. A shadow of the Earth, yes, she wanted to see Earth too- or what was left of it at least. She wanted a lot of things, but of course, she wasn't one to take no easily- so said her run from Hell, to which she'd been previously grounded to.

"You look fine," Camille mused, making the amused observation from above, running her hands softly over the horns on either sides of her curiously. She'd never seen anything of the sort before, and though she had her wings, she wondered how it would be to have those that Briar did - the horns, that is - and what exactly they were used for. Because they looked rather elegant, yes, but also sharp...and dangerous. Weapons...she'd seen a lot of those yes, and she had only been here for a short time and yet everyone seemed to carry one. And the thoughts...well, apparently they were at war. A world war, or something of the sorts, and it had confused her at first.

Maybe that was the problem, that she really wasn't sure where she was - or even when she was. It was really strange being here just after Raphael and dropped her off and even though the man had tried to understand and explain what he could, she was still pretty lost. She shifted in Briar's hair sighing softly and wondering if she should ask what was on her mind, her fingers sill lightly playing with the amazing horns. She didn't exactly want to seem so lost, not at the moment, but then she had too many questions to keep back, so she blurted one out to keep back the others....for now.

"How did you get these? The horns I mean...Raphael told me demons had them, that my father has them now- I don't know why. He never tells me why..." She trailed off, the rare irritation showing across her tanned facial features before returning to that natural smile she seemed to always hold. No Raphael never told he anything truly specific about her parents origins or names, and he never told her specifically why either. Just that it was or her own good. Well if it was, than it wasn't his fault when she finally figured it out, and she would...she wanted to know more than just that her parents were Angels, and regardless of the fact that she didn't know them at all, they loved her. She twisted a golden curl around her finger and awaited her answer, settling did at least what Briar could tell her about herself, seeing as Briar in her own was pretty unique of a person. A hybrid, Aiden had thought of her, and Camille dos know what that was. And of a demon and an angel, and she still looked beautiful, and fierce, and not at all confused - Camille wished she could have been like that. Maybe if she had been her parents wouldn't have sent her away.

"Mm?" Briar didn't have time to react to the first comment, to busy focusing on the hands that were running down her horns, they were like an angel's wings you could say, and her's had never really been touched to of course it was weird. Much like a vibrating feeling that only she could feel, that started from the core of the bone then went inward towards her head. It was...Seriously odd, and she'd never really expected to have them touched, nor was this concept explained to her. So, of course, she tilted her head left and right to attempt to make the feeling to go away, she didn't tilt it too far however in fear that the child seated upon her head would fall. It was only then she processed the last question "Where'd I get them?" She chuckled, well, somewhere between that and a half laugh "You don't get them, you're born with them. Usually. They can be earned, but that's if you're an angel fallen a little too far from grace." Briar explained, oblivious to Camille's comment on her father, had she it would've been of question but she'd been too distracted by the rub of her horns. Though, speaking of falling angels, it quickly reminded her of home. Ok, that sounded much worse than it should have, but, they had many back in Hell. Some still had their minds, some didn't, and it'd be a lie to say she was home sick but it wouldn't be to say that she didn't wish that she could've done this with one of her brothers- both even, Hell, maybe have even dragged her father out.

But, of course, she'd chosen the worst time to do it, they were at war and that was the distraction that seemed to let her out. She would go back, surely, eventually but this was much more than just running away from home, and even her brothers didn't know that much. She wanted to help, really, the small remains of her family keep her father from tipping the scales too far. She couldn't understand how Earth just hadn't been enough, but of course, Greed was a needy sin, and required all to be under it's grasp and then some. Surely that's what was working most. She knew a little about the sins, and that wasn't talking about what they were and stood for. No, they could be materialized by the head three, that being her father, Abaddon, or Azazel. They could take that sin and, of course, summon it into a physical form to do their bidding. Her favorite, if she had to pick one, was Wrath. Maybe mostly because it was a female- and that said something, seeing as usually they'd been seen as Lust, which mind anyone was male- but it was also because Wrath wasn't just anger. She was reason, strength, protection, she was the power that bit back when you'd gone too far. Briar, hopefully, would learn how to summon like her father and those after him, and when she did- she would choose Wrath to be her companion, and like an heirloom, pass it down to her child so she could do the same.

Alec pushed open the door silently, hoping not to wake the other - unless he was already awake, and that would have been a rather irritating problem. He'd left his position on deck only a minute ago, leaving the ship in the direction it was supposed to go but briefly trusting it under Kristoff's watchful eyes as he disappeared to check up on Matthias. He was quiet, and so was the room, and Alec's eyes scanned in approval as he realized the other was indeed still sleeping. He figured the man had been reluctant only to leave his position, but there was no way anyone could go four days without sleep and act exactly the same - unless they didn't need to sleep at all that is. Alec didn't need to as much, but even he wouldn't have been up for as long as Matthias was. Regardless, he did admire the dedication from the other, it was a quality you didn't see much of in Limbo, not between the Nephillim anyway. There was so much focus on who was wrong and who was right, and though he'd never participated in the underhanded dealings, he knew they happened around the castle, with most of the royals to be honest. And he technically was one, only declining the position as ruler for his knowledge of the hypocrisy that followed the ties to the angel glass throne...he understood why Matthias hated royals, because at times, so did he. But he didn't want the man to hate him, that was for sure, and it was rather distasteful to think that he might have made that a possibility for acting on a childish whim. He leaned against the doorframe quietly, before sighing and fidgeting with his fingers on the edge of his collar while he thought, wondering what he could do to fix this - or if he wanted to try at all. He could analyze and strategize like a professional, but when it came to relationship, or rather wanting one? He supposed you could say he was lost at sea.

---

"Falling from grace?" She wondered out loud, trying to put things together. She wasn't exactly sure what grace was supposed to be, but she could guess it had something to do with holiness, which is what angels were. What archangels were, or had been. Raphael claimed that he was about 'as holy as hunk of Swiss cheese', but something told her the way he said it was to indicate the exact opposite. Something to do with the destruction of earth - this earth, it wasn't hers, or at least she didn't think it was. But then if it was destroyed, then everyone would have died...and then there was the question of who. The demons, maybe, since they were running all over it now. Demons were terrible creatures in the stories she'd read, huge terrible monstrous things, that managed to destroy everything in their path, may it be mundane or supernatural, and they loved solely to oppose all good in the world. Raphael didn't hate them though for some reason, claiming the angels had their own problems, that they were more like human than they liked to think. Camille figured that was pertaining to the constant urge to argue and fight that humans had, even the ones she'd lived with. And she'd lived with a lot of them, never staying in one place for more than a year, following her guardian angel's instructions without reason not to. After all, he was the only one she knew that was an angel, and he'd partially raised her himself. If she thought hard though, she could remember on face from her shadowy past, but every time she dreamt of it, her vision refused to focus clearly. She saw the wings, the body, the runes - but nothing else, nothing she could focus on, and she told herself often that if she ever sat them she would know. But Archangels and Demons were mysterious beings... And now, around a lot of them -she could have asked. But she didn't trust them as much, not after the fighting, and the thoughts, but Briar seemed...calm. As in knowing what she was doing here. Now, if only Camille could figure out why she'd come in the first place...though right now, she figured it had something to do with the demons. And demons - they had horns too didn't they...? Right, because Briar was one - well, half of one, she wasn't evil, the opposite of if anything. And now she was even more curious. "What do you mean...fall from grace? And if you didn't, did your parents? Wait - does that mean demons...were angels?" She added in wonder, her voice rising significantly in pitch as the thought occurred to her, and she shifted forward, hanging partly over the other girl's head, gaping in question.

Briar found it amusing just how curious the other was, reminded her of herself to be honest, and she didn't mind that at all, more than pleased to answer any and all questions that she was given regardless of how hard they might've been to answer in the first place- but none of the following were hard, actually, no not at all "Well you see, sometimes angels stray too far from their expected path and as such, they fall- thrown out of Heaven really. As such, you've fallen angels, and sometimes- when they've either lost their minds a little too much or just don't care, they can get even worse, thus, earning their horns. It's odd really, painful looking actually. You see the horns seem to come out of no where and start burrowing out of the skin from the side of their skulls and their wings- or whatever is left of them, start molting. A mess they make honestly, all blood and feathers..." Briar started to muse, not taking notice that her own words might've been distasteful to the child and more over dragged into her own witnessing of the process. She wasn't very old but it'd been so weird, certainly not scary, no by that point she'd seen far worse... She came back into a more conscious state and continued on as if nothing had happened "Oh, right, yes- My father did fall from grace actually. The first, practically where it all started, but I don't think the transition worked the same for him...That was a long time ago though, he doesn't talk about it often- But, no, not quite. Actually some demons were angel at one point, yes, but not all of them. Others were created purely you seen and thus forth have never been anything but demons. few have actually been angels once, they aren't so common." She said, shrugging, glancing up at the child who was hanging over her head, either waiting for a response, more question, or maybe even a thoughtful look. She hadn't put too much thought into any of this actually, but she certainly knew the information. When she wasn't doing the normal acts of a child, which included sneaking around, stealing the cookies on occasion, tackling down Abaddon's tail, or maybe just messing up Azazel's hair, she was down in the archives. Uncomfortable as they were, they had most things documented since the birth of Hell. The few first looked like they'd be written in an all too familiar handwriting, though after a while it changed, but none the less it was very informational. that aside, if she wanted things on the Overworld then there was always the library upstairs, though that had a lot less facts and mostly mundane books. Where her father had gotten them from, she didn't know, but the best were held in the study. None the less, she tried her best to be knowledgeable, but, when it came to anything outside of Hell or angel and demons she was hopeless.

The man didn't do much as it was, well, before this. But, sleeping had not been on the top of the list, to be honest, and he did't realize just how much of it he'd missed out on until his head had hit the pillow. Somehow, sleeping on the ship was so much more satisfying than that of which had just been his ordinary bed back at home. For obvious reasons surely, but, he hadn't expected to just bonk out so quickly. He couldn't remember the last time he'd dreamt, and he still wasn't. Hadn't since he was only about three feet tall. Which was obviously too long ago, then again, he didn't have too much say in whether he did or not and he supposed he didn't mind all that much. It was the same thing, just different scenery. Under the waves, a calming sound of shifting water passing by him like the wind might blow pass someone on land. Odd though, it felt like he had one eye closed and was only looking out the other. Which, he imagined would've seemed normal since he'd only known the sight of one eye for as long as he could remember but that didn't mean he had forgotten what it was like to see with the both of them. It was as if the other eye was out of his reach, and control for that matter. None the less, it was always an odd experience. Simply moving around underwater, slipping around as he was- even if he wasn't exactly sure what he was. Not himself, surely, there was too much weight on his shoulders overall for him to be his usual. Then again, he never questioned it. It never lasted long, either way, the man never slept for longer than a few hours. In fact, he had to force himself back to sleep multiple times, knowing well Alec wouldn't let him back against the wheel unless he actually slept all eight hours. But, once again, he was stirring, his mind ready to wake up again- not used to so much sleep it seemed impossible to actually stay asleep.
