"well, thats not exactly my idea of fun, but we can make ends meet." nate said jokingly. "my idea of fun is sitting in my room, eating pizza, playing games, and watching romance movies." nate said with a shrug. "and occasionally i find a lovely lady like yourself and i take her out to dinner. sometimes it lasts and sometimes it doesnt." nate said.

Jay laughed. "Do you like board games?" She asked as the limo's insides lit up with the colors of downtown Jump City.

"i like monopoly, but what i meant was i like video games." nate said with a shrug. "i probably should have been more specific." he said


 
"well you said you like gamestop so you must like video games too, cause thats all that they sell at gamepstop." nate said jokingly. "so why would people think that a girl who drives too fast and has a lot of katanas was a stick in the mud?" nate asked

She sighed. "They say I work too hard, that I'm a workaholic," she said. "It's just that... I've been on the trail of this one person for a LONG time." She laughed. "I guess I'm obsessed." The limo pulled up to the Italian restaurant. "Here we are," she said, looking out the window.

nate got up, opened the door and got out of the car. he stood there and held the door for jay. "so whos case are you following?" nate asked curiously


 
"oh and by the way, i hope this isnt over doing it, but i reserved every table in the resteraunt. so we have the whole place to ourselves because i didnt know if you were picky about where to sit." nate said with a blush

Jay smiled good-naturedly. "I'm not picky about where to sit, and at least it's quiet." She stepped inside and looked around the room. "Wow." It was a big room. "Let's take a booth." She walked over to one by the window. She looked out said window distractedly for a while.

nate followed jay to the booth. "you never answered me. did i overdo it?" nate asked

Jay smiled. "No, not really." She said quietly. "To be honest, it's the first date I've ever been on with anyone...." Not entirely true..... There was that one person....

"really?" nate said curiously. "im surprised that guys arent begging you to go out with them." he said

Jay looked surprised. "Well, why would they? Honestly, I'm not all that interesting." She shrugged. "I know– erm.... Knew a lot of people who were way cooler than I am." She looked at the table, then up as a waiter came by.


"May I start you two off with a drink?"


"Yes please, I'll have a raspberry lemonade."

Curse runs into the resturant and barricades the door and is panting as she finishes

"umm, ill have red wine." nate said to the waiter just before curse burst through the door. "oh youve got to be fucking kidding me!" he yelled. "i paid a lot of money to rent this place out so that we could have the place to ourselves. and i am NOT going to let you barge in on our date!" he yelled at curse

Curse looks at him "Hey I just stepped outside from eating a burger... I didn't do anything this time..... I swear" She puts her hands up innocently

"oh yea? so you just so happened to pick the resturaunt that we were in right when we were on our date?" nate asked sarcastically. "if you didnt do anything then why are the police here?" nate asked giving her a glare

"I don't know I swear..... I step out of the burger joint down the road and then I step out... I paid and everything... I thought this place was closed I'm sorry...."

nate rolled his eyes. "well i cant make you leave, so i guess you can stay if you want." nate said. "juli, sorry but it looks like our date will have to wait. juli this is curse. curse this is my girlfriend." nate introduced the two. "i know youre not lying, im just pissed that you ruined our date." nate said
