A voice was heard in his head. It sounded like the cat from earlier, "Fool. Stop your fighting and look around you instead. You must leave now or you shall be good as dead....there is a clear tunnel that will lead you to the exit..."

Perinia was bent at her waist, at the entrance to the catacombs. Trying to get rid of all that lava had made her weak. She also felt terrible about leaving Baxer and the others trapped, like that.

The guardian appeared to them, "Follow me quickly..." he started walking.

Why should I follow you" Klef said half awake, but decides follow him anyways. Whoever this was, they sure seemed to know what they were doing. Klef's legs started to shake a bit and the room seemed to darken. " Do you know why its so hot in heeereee-" Klef's body collapses in the ground due to the extreme heat.

"No damn it! Baxter! Katsumi!" He shouted pounding his fist on the rocks, though he wasn't able to get through maybe his sister could. "Baxter! Find my sister! She can get the rest of you out!" Christopher called out, before regretfully turning away and walking out of the falling catacombs. @Copperkirin21


Katsumi winced a bit, seeing the blow that was dealt from the beast. "Shiro! Snap out of it!" She called out again, narrowing dodging the falling pieces of earth. Shit.. We'll be stuck in here if we don't leave now.. "Shiro! Please! You're more than a fucking killing machine! Let's go! You deserve to be with people who care for you!" She was praying that her words were reaching him, if they got stuck there was no way she could get all of the earth off of them without being completely drained before it happened. @Shiro kurogane

The cat's eyes glowed and he lifted Klef off the ground, "Lava is filling this place so we must leave..but first..." he walked into the chamber the beast and Shiro were fighting in. His eyes glowed and the beasts head exploded, "Now let's go. There's a clear path that way. Everywhere else is blocked or filled with lava."

His eyes glowed and the beasts head exploded, "Now let's go. There's a clear path that way. Everywhere else is blocked or filled with lava."

Klef brushes herself off and continues running. Scorch marks from falling on the rather hot floor covered her palms and knees. " That explains a lot" she said while trying to stay alert. She looks back to see a beast's head explode, that was the first death Klef had seen in five years... There was a path cleared for them, she sprinted as fast as she could with her small body. "Come on Aaron! I'm sorry for bringing you into this, but we have to run NOW if we want to live!" She yells at Aaron.

shiro hears katsumi. but being to far gone cannot control his power or his nonhuman blood. seeing the beast die. the berserk shiro roared in anger at having been denied a kill. lyxe's seal finally breaks unleashing even more of his power. the broken seal took on the form of a person.


(lyxe's spirit)


lyxe stands beside katsumi with sadness in his eyes. "i knew this day would come. but i never expected it to happen. only two years after my death" lyxe says with even deeper sadness in his voice. he turns to katsumi. "i can only redo the seal this one time. you must keep him from coming to this point ever again. i also ask, that you do what i failed to do. to lead shiro from his self destroying darkness." lyxe says as he somehow freezes shiro's body. floating to shiro lyxe remakes the seal sightly stronger. after making the seal his spirit starts to fade away with a single tear falling from his face.





(shiro)


as the remade seal activates. shiro comes back to his senses. his rampant power returns to his body. the seal also forcing him back into his sealed form. after returning him to normal the seal deactivates. leaving shiro exhausted and drained. he falls to his knees unconscious and severely wounded.

Klef taps the Aaron's shoulder, she saw an unconscience figure by the now defeated beast. "Should we go get him?" An idea came into Klef's head. "I can try to teleport us all back if we want toget Shiro and anyone left... Trust me." She said slightly panicked with a knife in her hand. "Ok, I got this..." She says under her breath. She knew that a few of the escapees had touched the same wall that her fingers dragged along when she was about to pass out. Klef darted back to where the monster is. " Aaron, you can go with the cat if you want to, I'll try my hardest to get the others back." She jabs the pocket knife into her finger without flinching while running as fast as she could. She reached for her backpack and got out the spell book. Little bits of lava dripped from the ceiling... The book could not catch on fire, it would ruin her escape plan. She stuffed the book inside her shirt and finally reached the area. It was Shiro who was unconscience.

Katsumi nodded at the boys words, a small frown falling onto her face as she made her way over to Shiro's unconscious body and hoisting him onto her back. "Stupid.. Going and doing something like this.." She mumbled, making her way out to the entrance only to be stopped by the girl she saw earlier. "Oi.. What are you doing?" She asked keeping her grip on Shiro. @Sailor Adams

Perinia had tears in her eyes from not being able to save her classmates. She didn't know that the Guardian was working on that. She wiped her face. "No. Something WILL happen. It can't end like this." She said, still in her weakened state.

Perinia gasped softly, as some people appeared in front of her. She stood up from her hunched over position. "You made it out! But..." She looked at the group, and noticed some people were missing. "Not everyone..."

The cat appeared in front of them, "I see you've all made it out alive...except..."


Lava started oozing out of the entrance and stopped. The whole place was full at this point.

Perinia was silent, knowing they had lost someone.

shiro wakes being carried by katsumi. "what happened? why are we out here? and aren't we missing someone?" he asks looking around and not having any memory of going berserk nearly dying. "and why is the cat here?"

Appearing at the entrance of the catacombs, a small bit of the girls blood smeared over her clothing. The blonde looked rather irritated that her white top was now stained with blood, her eyebrow twitched at the sight. "Listen kid, I appreciate the save but if you ever put your blood on me again. I'll turn your eyes inside out and skin you alive." Her threat was muttered, but she knew the girl would probably hear her.

"Katsumi!" Chris called running up to his sister before looking around for Baxter, "Where'd Baxter?" Katsumi looked at him as if he were crazy, "Who?" Chris paled, if he wasn't with her.. Just where the hell was he then?!


Katsumi looked at Shiro and smiled a bit, "Glad to see you awake.." She wouldn't mention what happened until later, knowing it was best for his safety and her brothers. "The catacombs collapsed, but we got one of the missing seniors out, now we've gotta find the others" @Shiro kurogane

So the cat was alive...After hearing the cat said someone was missing she begin to feel a sinking feeling in her stomache, someone might of died. Her uses of teleportation, lack of sleep, exhaustion, and skipping breakfast by accident started to catch up to her. The blond seemed rather angry at her for smearing blood at her shirt, she didn't really feel like picking a fight with a powerful upperclassmen. The only way she learned how teleport was by using blood. I'm not a kid I'm almost fifteen. She mumbled while wiping off beads of sweat on her forehead. Her finger accidently was wiped against her forehead cringing a bit, sweat and open wounds were not very pleasant. Even though she had the body of an eleven year old and was turning fifteen in eight months.

shiro stood and swayed slightly. not understanding why he was hurt or why his body felt heavy. he tried standing again. being successful in standing he notices someone's blood. not at all bothered by this as he'd killed many. "so we found one of the missing seniors. and the catacombs got destroyed? what the hell happened in there?" he said slightly annoyed he could not remember anything.

"Don't force yourself if you can't do it." She said softly before glancing behind her and pulling him off a ways away. "You hit your crazy switch and fought a monster. Therefor destroying the foundation of the Catacombs.." She explained quietly, gripping onto his sleeve in case he decided to move away before she could allow the words to settle in. Katsumi looked over her shoulder at Klef, her eyes narrowing a bit. Still a child in my eyes. She didn't mean to be so rude, but after everything that'd just happened she was more than a little bit tired. "Not to mention classes start tomorrow.. Man.." @Sailor Adams

The cat's ears perked up and he looked at the cave entrance, grinning. At this point the lava was gone but no one was there, "You're classmate is tougher than most...I thought he was toast..."

Perinia looked to the lava-filled entrance, and the cat. "What do you mean?"

(Damn it, copper I thought Baxter was dead for a good minute there!)

"crap i don't remember fighting anything. last i remember was walking into a doorway."he said rubbing his head. "classes are tomorrow? great just what i wanted." he said sarcastically. shiro looked at the cat. "what did some survive the collapse of the catacombs?"

After hearing that classes start tomorrow, Klef groaned a bit. "What time is it anyways?" She asks, looking at the sun. "We should go back to our dorms and rest." She said, exhausted from their visit to the Catacombs. The lava finally went disapeared and it seemed whoever was stuck in there was ok. The feeling in her stomache went away, but she sprinted back into the cattacomb curious to see the persons condition. Klef was willing to help whoever it was and reached into her backpack grabbing a first aid kit. It wasn't much, but she wanted to help.
