John walked whistling down the sidewalk, his errands complete. Today had been moderately decent. At least that what he was thinking until he turned the corner, saw the school on fire, dropped the grocery bags and screamed, "Holy shit! I forgot to turn off the stove!" He groaned covering his face as he then noticed the bodies, growing deathly pale as he stepped forward. He was used to death, you had to be in his profession. But this, it didn't bug him that they were dead, it bugged him how sloppy, how needless it was. Wasn't a single entity, no, too messy. Too much blood, the bodies were too mangled. It was mindless, meant to spread a message. Whatever message they were wanting to send John wasn't interested. He had no time nor patience for animals, whose only purpose was to be slaughtered as a sacrifice in their house of worship. He looked to the sky, raising a hand, the clouds converging, thundering, lightning streaking across the sky as a torrential downpour came forth, the massive amounts of water washing away blood and fire as the camps became drenched in the cleansing water. John walked forward, holding out his hands and touching the survivors, healing them.
