Fantasy The Witch Trial

" You and I know our objective is to protect Kai and Katsumi with our very essence but with Ginju roaming this world freely I don't know how easy that's going to be." He pause looking at his hands worriedly. "They already don't get along as their first confrontation was a bad one, with them threatening to kill one another. On top of that, shiro won't understand the outcome of this world, he's to overconfident to begin with so him protecting katsumi could get him and her killed if he made the wrong action." Mr. John said getting worried thinking about all the possibilities. "Another thing I want to touch on is I saw something I thought I'd never see once again..." He said looking at Katsumi with a worried face.

Lawrence looked at the gun lazily. "So I'm King of the Fairies. If I'm really to be a monarch, so be it," he said, his voice cracking significantly. "And will you please quit threatening me? I've already had enough of that, what with people already hating a half human and other people despising the fact that I am half fairy. I have no idea who you are, but thank you for healing me and saving my life twice-I guess-but bug off."

His eyes softened when Perinia hugged him and even stood up for him. He wished that he were that strong, but he knew that he wasn't. He had already tried giving Father John the what-for, but once again, he looked at his mother's body. He buried his face in Perinia's arms, feeling somewhat stronger.

She hugged him tighter. "Come on. There is a cemetery not far from here. We should do the right thing and bury her."

"Y-yeah," Lawrence muttered, wiping tears from his eyes and avoiding Father John's gaze. He took his crown and spear from the floor. He was definitely going to be a worthy king to his kingdom. He looked at his mother's face. Her eyes-the same eyes that Lawrence had inherited-were wide open, her mouth open in shock. Her left hand was extended slightly, and she was clutching a butter knife. Lawrence choked back his tears as he spoke. "Sh-she didn't have any powers, b-but she still tried to save us."

Perinia closed his mother's eyes, before turning back to him.

Perinia walked with Lawrence to the cemetery. Once there, she lead him to an empty plot of ground. She looked at him. "Stand behind me." As he would move behind her, she raised her hands, causing the soft graveyard soil to give way making a rectangle shaped grave for the dead woman. The excess soil piled up to one side.

Lawrence watched as the grave was dug and, using his own air magic, carefully brought her down. Now was the time for him to cry. But his mother's death had led to some determination. He hugged Perinia, tears rolling down his cheeks. "I swear by my crown, my spear, and my wings...I will not let anybody hurt you, and I will not go crazy. Understand?"

Lawrence nodded. He felt okay about letting it out...so long as it was just the two of them. He cried his eyes out, holding on to Perinia for a long time.

She held him for as long as he wanted her too. It was natural to break down like that after a great loss. "Lawrence... If you want, you can sleep in my room tonight." She hadn't seen Aki for a while and thought it would be safe.

Seth hand out towards Kai, "dragonic blessing" he said quietly as the spirit of lugia came from him. the spirit entered Kai and healed him of his sickness. The spirit then returned to Seth, almost instantly Seth went to one knee. "S-shit.." He mumbled as he felt weaker than expected. "It makes sense..the path of light is harder.." Mitsuko looked up at the student and raised an eyebrow, "Knock much?" She then looked down at her beaten and tattered self and shook her head, "Thanks but I'll be fine, I appreciate the offer though" The woman said before she leaned up and placed her hand on Mr. John's shoulder, "Will you relax? Katsumi doesn't kill anything without a reason." She spoke before sliding out of bed, wincing at the sting of the cold ground on the sole's of her feet. Mitsuko wobbled a bit before grabbing onto the wall next to her desk, steadying herself as she reached into her drawer and grabbed a black vile. "Demons should be healed the way hell intended." She spoke, more towards the student than to the teacher. She then tipped her vile, red liquid spilling out onto her finger before she drew X's over her forehead and chest. @Airagog @Kai123


Katsumi tilted her head a bit, "Are you okay hun..?" She asked softly, looking up at him. "Just return to me in one piece.." @Shiro kurogane

"Alright" Chris stood up from his spot at the table and began walking back to the dorm, humming softly as he went.

"Where should we go?" He asked as he looked over his shoulder at Bax, he didn't mind being in his dorm, but he didn't want to be stuck there all day.
