Fantasy The Witch Trial

Lucinda Darkhive

The Queen of Darkness has arrived loves!
In the new era of Zycronia there born was a time of Witches, Wizards, Elves, Dragons and many other mystical creatures. But of course with all good things there must be an equal side of evil to balance this out, right? Wrong. The city Zycronia is the "perfect" Utopia, serving as the "Sacred kingdom" of the country. For seven years Zycronia has thrived, but at what costs? What has been sacrificed for this Holy Utopia to continue to be so "perfect?"

A school was created when the third ruler took hold of the utopia of Zycronia, in this school those that were public school age were sent there to "learn" the ways of the city. But, one year a group of Witches saw something they shouldn't have seen. Obviously they didn't like what they saw, so they formed a group. Six different classes of Witches, one for each element, these classes were called "The Witch Trial."

Christopher and Katsumi both were making their way into the school, their bodies mingling with the other students. They'd just got there together, surprisingly all three of their parents agreed to see them off before going in to school. The send of was all but pleasant, all three of the parents had been arguing with each other so both siblings decided to leave and be on their way.

"I wish they didn't argue so much.." Katsumi mumbled as she crossed her arms with a sigh, making her way into the auditorium as they'd been instructed to. Though all she wanted to do was take a nap before exploring the grounds, something always changed with this school every year. Even if she was a Witch Trial member.

"You know that won't happen, Katsumi. They..just..don't get along, honestly a Dark Elf, a Demon and an Angel getting along? Tch that's like asking for the world to reverse its rotation." Christopher mumbled, following after his blonde haired sister. He himself had grown out of listening to his bickering parents, only seeing fit to interject when fist were starting to be thrown.

As both teens made it into the auditorium they took seats closest to the exit, deciding it would be best not to get trampled by the new and old students after the opening ceremony was complete. "Welcome students! New and old, to a new year at Zycronia academy!" Headmistress Sunet greeted, a wide smile spreading across her face as she looked out over the school. "As many of you know this school was established to enhance and better your skills as witches and warlocks maybe even become one of the top ten!" The woman spoke with such enthusiasm it was contagious she had every student on the edge of their seat with her words. Everyone except for Katsumi and Christopher of course, long time students or not they knew better than to actually believe the words flowing out of that witches mouth. The ceremony droned on and on until it was around noon, until Headmistress Sunet decided it was time to release the students. "And Just remember to have a good year! Get good grades! Also enjoy the events we plan this year!"

Baxter sat in the crowd watching. A new year, new faces, and new celebrations. Hopefully he would make some new friends or get a chance to dj again (assuming this is modern time) . He looked around the auditorium at the new faces and he noticed two more people walking into the place. He looked at them for a moment then turned back to the Headmistress. While she talked he played with the ferret inside his backpack.

Lewis sat with his legs on the table and a smile his face as if he were free. His eyes were closed and as usual his toothpick was resting in his mouth. Yeah, yeah new year I hear this shit every year . . . He got up from his seat and pulled up his pants.

Alyn looked out at the sea of freshmen with a sigh, but a smile still spread on his face. This was his favorite time of the year; when the freshmen arrive! Where he stood at the back of the room, there looked to be many prospectful students this year, and he couldn't wait to see just what their true forms were. However, he suddenly felt a pang of sadness: this was his last year at the school. Being a senior had its up and downs, but this was probably the biggest down he had. He loved the school. He loved the students, the teachers, the classes, the atmosphere...you name it, he enjoyed it. To think all he had was one more year here....

He let out another sigh, and leant against the wall at the back of the room. He adjusted his silver tie nonchalantly, and fixed his yellow dress shirt. He also took the time to adjust his red sneakers and fix his dark blue jeans. For being a man almost six feet two inches, they fit him rather snugly, which was strange considering his height and his overall body mass. Many people refer to him as Truck, because of how buff he looks, but he doesn't mind. He brushed a bit of his ash gray air from his bright green eyes and continued watching, his eyes still scanning, passing by many people, including the one student who had decided to get up and is now adjusting his pants. He stifled a laugh at what he saw.

(Assumption is correct!)

By the time the headmistress was finished with her speech, Katsumi had took refuge in her brothers lap for a nap, even though it was only her second year the headmistress spoke the same words as she did last year. It bored the blonde completely causing her to fall asleep since she knew what was to happen already, the lack of outdoor air made her drowsy not to mention the boring speech. Two more years of that? Ugh.. At least she'd have her brother for one more year of this.

"Ne, Katsumi, wake up.. The speech is over. You know we're never partnered together for dorm mates.." Christopher mumbled, smirking slightly at his sister but what he said was right, they were almost never paired up for dorm rooms. Maybe senior year will be the lucky year. He thought before looking down at Katsumi, her form slowly stirring before she opened her eyes once again. "Carry me to my dorm..? You have both our keys anyways." "Only to make sure you didn't lose yours, get up, I know I'm strong, but I'm not gonna carry you and our suitcases to your dorm then try to find mine." Though he was lying he just didn't want the freshmen to think she was weak, or the older students for that matter. The girl was already as scary as her mother when she was upset, he didn't need them getting hurt because they thought she was weak.

She sighed, nodding her head before stretching out her body, causing her shirt to just rise over her stomach and settle back down snugly over the waistband of her shorts. "Classes start two days from now.. Why are we rushing to get to our dorms again..?" The intermixed girl stood from her brothers lap, fixing her braid that had gotten messed up when she fell asleep. She then shook her head before her brother could answer, it was to make friends before classes started. At least that's what the headmistress claimed. "Give me my key, please I'll find my room"

Baxter picked up his stuff and floated out the room after everyone else. He wondered who his roommate was going to be, for he never looked it up before he got here. He shrugged, "Oh well...I'll see them later..." he floated past the siblings and nodded at them before leaving the room.

(He tends to float around like Marceline from Adventure Time. :D )

(What time is it? Adventure Time! :D oh, and I'll post the rooming arrangements in a moment)

The siblings looked at the boy before nodding back, they both taking their luggage and following after the sea of students. "Are you gonna be there tonight?" Christopher asked the blonde, she looked over her shoulder at him. "Be there or be square, bro." Katsumi replied with a toothy grin, disappearing into the crowd to go find her dorm, leaving her brother to fend for himself.

Umiko was in the crowed but wasn't important enough to be noticed. Then again she didn't care really, two more years and she was Scott free from this school. She was somewhat attentive during the speech, having heard it now three times already she wasn't exactly excited to hear the headmistress's voice. When she got her dorm number she sighed softly and disappeared from the crowed of students new and old to find it.

Alyn watched as all the students filed out of the room like a herd of sheep and chuckled lightly. It was entertaining to watch as they would turn their heads in wonder at the many things in this school. He pushed himself off the wall and stretched, pulling out his schedule from his jeans pocket and taking a look at it. The schedule gave a lost of his classes this semester, as well as his dorm number and dorm mate. This year, it seemed to be a girl called Umiko.

Alyn did a double take at this. A girl!? He was sharing his dorm with a GIRL!? He understood that the school had co-ed dorms, but his entire time he lived here he was always with a guy in the dorms, with very little conversation.

"Hm. I guess that means that I can't walk around in me undies anymore. Darn." He said to himself as he too exited the small welcoming building and began his walk to the dorm rooms, admiring the green fields of the campus and the old Gothic buildings that it housed.

Ukimo walked along the halls counting until she made it to her dorm, "just haaaad to be the creepy building didn't it.." She shook her head as she unlocked the door to her dorm and walked inside. "well atleast the rooms aren't creepy.." She mumbled as she tucked a stray bit of hair behind her ear. She walked inside and began putting her belongings up, finishing with her hygenic supplies in a small bag in the bathroom.

Alyn walked inside Dorm C, which was housed in one of the oldest and creepiest looking buildings of the place. A chill ran down his spine as he took the first step inside, but he thought nothing of it. He looked back down at his schedule and to his dorm number.

"202, 202..." He would constantly say to himself as he would glide along the multitude of doors in the hall.

"Ah! Here it is!" He pulled the door open and spotted, what he believed to be his roommate. Looks like his list was right, it was indeed a girl. He let out an inner sigh and closed the door behind him, flopping down on his bed, his backpack falling to the floor beside him. He let out a short groan, a sort of mourning for his ability to walk around in his underwear now gone.

"What even.. Where the fuck am I?" Katsumi wondered, walking down the hallway, this was the one thing she hated at the beginning of the year. Finding her goddamn dorm. "And I'm sharing with a boy at that.." A sigh left her lips as she finally reached her dorm, room 276, walking in she found it was still empty meaning she could choose her bed before the other person arrived. And of course she did, choosing the bed closest to the window she threw her bags on the bed. "It shouldn't hurt to transform in my room.. After all they did only say no fighting on campus." The blonde always seemed to find some sort of loophole in the rules, she was a troublemaker yet a perfect student at the same time. Deciding on her Elven form she transformed, her dark blonde hair elongated and lightened to a bleached blonde while her ears became pointed and longer. Finished, she looked at her luggage and stretched out her hand, mumbling words of an old language causing roots to sprout from the ground, slowly putting away her clothes and whatnot.

Christopher looked down at his schedule to find the number of his dorm room, "Baxter huh? Cool" He made his way into the dorm room and placed his stuff on one of the beds, not really caring about who got which bed. Sighing in content he sat on his bed and leaned against the wall, mumbling a few words before tendrils of fire snaked from his slightly parted mouth to put away his belongings.

Umiko raised an eyebrow at the boy, "um..hai" she said as she sat on her bed and looked at him, "what's your name?" She asked curiously as she tilted her head slightly, he looked sad for some reason and she wanted to know why.

Alyn didn't move his face from the pillow, choosing instead to talk with muffled words.

"Alyn. It's nice to meet you."

He would lift a hand up for a handshake, his face still in the pillow.

She extended her hand and shook it gently as she giggled, "you're funny alyn, any reason you seem to act like you've lost your best friend?" She stated as she released his hand after the shake.

Alyn would move his head sideways so that his face was exposed, showing his caramel skin and bright green eyes.

"Yes. A very old friend."

"Who would that be?" She saw his face and smiled, "it's good to see your face." She added before rocking slightly.

Baxter floated to his dorm room and opened the door. He finally settled on his feet and walked inside, "Hmm...they look a bit different from last year. Oh well. Still nice..."

He jumped onto his bed and took out his ferret, "Welp, looks like we're startin' a new year buddy. Now I just wonder who our roommate will be..."

He yawned and closed his eyes for a nap.

Lawrence Fantasy knew that he probably wasn't going to have a roommate. He didn't mind, naturally. It only meant that he wouldn't get someone to hound him to wake up when he was in the middle of a nap. Thank God...He closed his eyes and was soon asleep. In the middle of the hall. Again.

Alyn would sniffle before answering.

"My ability to walk around in my underwear."

And he then proceed to put his head back into the pillow.

After he finished placing away his things, Christopher looked up to find that his roommate had made his way into their room, "And fast asleep at that." The young Nephilim chuckled softly before picking up a book, and quietly began to read, if his Father and Mother taught him anything it was to never disturb a sleeping person, unless if were an emergency of course.

Katsumi, after unpacking all of her belongings went and laid on her bed, "Time for an overdue nap.." She mumbled, her elf ears gently twitching as she nestled herself in bed. The fall sunrays hitting her soft creamy skin, warming her to the touch as she quickly drifted into slumber.

After a few more minutes Baxter slowly opened his eyes and yawned, "That was a nice nap..." he looked over to the other bed and saw a boy sitting there. He slowly sat up and grinned, "Hi."

"Hey" He grinned back, slightly waving his hand at the boy. "Baxter, right? I heard you've DJ'ed some killer parties."

Lawrence woke up about ten minutes after he dozed off. "I'm awake...hm?" There was a pause as the half-fairy began to process what was going on, then...

"Aaaahhh...not again!" Lawrence said irritably, standing up and dusting himself off.
