Military Generals of Indoria
Name: Vice-General Valick Ana
Age: 60
Race: Nomasdae
Description written by @Jabroni
Valick Ana is man of battle-hardened discipline and a towering mass of a warrior who served with distinction in the Lindor-soov War. He fought beside his brother-in-law, King Drex Corgoso, successfully revolting against their Libertian rulers. The creation of Indoria ushered in a new generation of strong leadership, but at a terrible price.
While Valick was promoted to the rank of Vice-General in the new military regime, the atrocities he and his men committed during the war haunted him in his sleep. He carried a deep sadness, seldom speaking to anyone, and one day he sought to end the pain with his life, challenging his nephew, Ergle Corgoso, to trial by Tayoma. He lost the duel, but as fate would have it, Ergle decided to spare the old soldier and kept his counsel. It was then that he shaved his head, renewing his fierce devotion to the warrior god Anahit. This gave him some solace; however, his past follows him everywhere, and memories cannot be erased.
Out of a sense of duty, he continues to stand by his nephew's side and remains a close adviser to the king.
_____
Name: General Gethario El-Wazzi
Age: 38
Race: Nomasdae
Gethario is not a tall man standing at 5’9; but his sturdy build, fierce behavior, and ability with a sword made him a feared fighter and fast riser in the Indorian army. He became one of the youngest Generals in the Indoria at the age of twenty-eight. Known to be a ruthless superior, he commands his soldiers with a strict and stern hand. Those under him would describe him as humorless and unapproachable, but their respect for his ability in both combat and strategy is incomparable to that of any other soldiers and Generals in Indoria.
He is a well-spoken and intelligent man. He is also a devout follower of the Warrior-god Anahit, going to temple several times a week. Being well versed on the available translated scriptures, Gethario also knows much about The Birther and Krakou. He believes, along with many scholars, that Krakou is not the God of “Tradition” like its followers believe.
Like many, Gethario is not without his faults. He can be found in the major taverns of Falcoln's Haven, drinking too much “Sand Drift,” a mixed drink with so many different spices in it that they collect at the bottom, like sand. During his alcoholic benders he loses the disciplined demeanor that his peers are accustomed to, and turns into a quick to fight, argumentative hothead. Despite his position, he has been tossed out of said taverns on many occasions. He thinks of himself as an honorable man of character.
He deplores sellswords and Tral-el hunters, thinking of them as wasting their combat skills. Much like King Ergle, he shows contempt for the Tral-el riders within the army, but admits they have their uses. During his rise to generalship, Gethario made a name for himself in the fighting pits of Braylic. He was undefeated and gained a sizable fortune, which he used to have large castle built just outside of Falcoln's Haven in seclusion. The home was nicknamed “Fireblood Manor” due to the vivid reds and yellows it was painted. He also used his fortune to court the beautiful and deadly female pit fighter, Marashaa. The two were wed when Gethario turned twenty-five. Gethario and Marashaa have two twin daughters, Penelopi and Teroshi. The two girls are thirteen years old and are the only living things that anyone has seen Gethario show softness to.
