Fantasy The Tyrant King(remake)(always open)

Oblivious to the heated goings on in the palace, Konstantin readied his horse with clean military efficiency. He still had a job to do after all. Drawing his sweeping coat further around himself, Eugene brought the brim of his hat further below, swinging himself up into the saddle. Sword at his hip, and steel within his eyes. There would be no survivors and for that he hoped no one would dare step within the forests folds that day. He'd done his fair share of murder. A sin he added to everyday. If the king ordered someone dead, there was no arguments. There was obedience. Nothing more than the crowns guard dog. Digging his stirrups into the horses sides, caused a loud neigh of stimulation before carrying him onwards, barely glancing at the other guards of the stable. His leather gloved hands, wrapped tightly around the reigns. Nothing stopping his overcoats tails flying out behind him as he sped the beast into a gallop. Little seen of his face, apart from those two eyes. The ones that had seen too much, loved too little. Too many battles, and too many scars. It drove a man insane. Maybe that was it, the thing that kept him fighting- Escape from his own mind.

Although one cannot simply escape a mind.

The mighty warhorse began it's sprint through the palace grounds, a streak of grey accompanied by orbs of burnt sienna. Approaching the castle gates he pulled hard on the reigns, causing the beast to rise up with a whinny of surprise and utmost acquiescence. "Open the gates, by the kings orders. I have a mission out to the forest." He declared, scowling at the gatekeepers. His voice loud, authoritative and somewhat terrifying. Of course, the gates were wrenched open with little time to spare, leaving the Captain to exit the grounds with tensed jaw.

So much blood had been spilt by those hands of his.

We live for today

But we die for the next

With blood in our veins

And the air in our chests.

Theria was utterly horrified at the sight that had unfolded before everyone's eyes. She was still so horrified by what the king had almost done and done to madame Sasika that when her master Carlisle ran over to the king and attempted to push him over she wasn't able to help him. When the king cute a bit of the fabric of Carlisle shirt she fell to her knees sure that the king would kill him and tears had started to slide from her eyes when the king spoke thoes horrific words. So when the king threw the sword into the wall Theria quickly rushed over to Carlisle and from behind him went onto her tip toes and grabbed his shoulder. "M-m-master we sh-should perh-perhaps we go back to your room." She went back down to her normal footing and tugged on his shirt toward the door not looking at the king at all during this.

Eren Weiss & Lenard Stressing

"O-Oh!" Lenard fell from cloud nine when the pink haired captain yelled at him. Eren couldn't see the knight's face but the man's embarrassment could be felt by everyone. With an uneasy laugh and a loud slap on the knight's horse Lenard moved away from Eren's stall. The brown horse trotted out of the stall and had been led by the white knight to the stable's entrance. Lenard falling a a few meters behind him joined Eren outside the smelly structure.

The clouds looked swollen, had slightly pink hues due to the morning rays and it's snowing. Lenard stood next to Eren and watched with him.

"Bah..." Eren seemed to spit the word out.

"What's wrong?" Lenard didn't turn his gaze away from the sky.

"Don't like snow?"

"I despise this kind of weather." Eren threw his thick woolly hood over his helmet.

"Why?" Lenard asked.

"Are you living within the castle?" Eren turned towards Lenard.

"No," he replied a bit hesitant.

"My homestead is in the village a number of hours west from here."

"It get's cold around the castle real quickly since the blasted thing is made of stone. It being dark and poorly lit also adds to the factor of it being an uncomfortable place to live in during the cold winter days. I remember it well. The most miserable days I've ever experienced inside those thick prideful walls that promised me shelter from outside." Eren's face grimaced.

"..." Lenard didn't say anything. It could be worst you know? was the sentence that resonated in his head. A number of minutes have passed since they've started talking and out comes their captain riding on her steed. both men directed their horses next to her own and rode beside her.

"Alright boys to the gate!" She boomed in a high spirited and serious voice.

"Let's Go!"

Luther Ferdinand

"Intriguing..." Luther mused as he had watched the dark horsemen ride towards the gates on his equally blackened ass.

Luther didn't want to ponder the man's action to why Konstantine had left with only himself on his warhorse and rallied his infantrymen. Why didn't he go outside with a cavalry force? It was unnecessary and it's ill advised. He and Konstantine were going to patrol a forest area, so taking horsemen to the woods had it's demerits when searching for a rebel group. Not to mention that to assign these men would take a number of thalers or koffers from the man's wage, since he's in charge of paying them for the most part.

Going with a force of infantrymen may be time costly in comparison to having a cavalry scouting force. However, Luther isn't in a hurry and scouting the area will probably take a week at the latest. Luther's horse trotted in front of the line of infantrymen and he banged the butt of his lance against the wet stone ground. The men took heed of the loud metallic sound as it echoed around the courtyard and paid attention to the captain.

"MARCH!" He boomed in a hearty voice.

Luther and his steed slowly turned around and the men followed him in rows of ten men. Luther was going to arrive to the forest with a regiment of three hundred men. The force moved at jogging speed behind captain Konstantine's general direction. Luther's smile stretched on his left side of his face as a thought had crossed his mind - Would he be arriving with Konstantine or without him?

"Hehehe..."

Eliza Parr

Once she had finished with her bath, Eliza wrapped a robe around herself, and entered the main room she would be living in for however long this cursed visit lasts. She was still rather shaken by earlier events, the bath doing nothing to calm her nerves. In fact, it had given her a chance to think, and, in her experience, thinking always made things worse. She had come to the conclusion that the best way to survive this stay would be to stay in her rooms as much as possible. Of course, she would go to dinners, have her daily ride, and greet some of the courtiers that had been her father's friends, but other than that she would hide in the shadows. Feeling glad that she had made the decision, she settled in her chair to begin the mountain of letters in front of her, sighing happily at the thought of having such a mundane task to occupy her mind.

Aki Beckensach

Aki wasn't surprised one bit she her aunt began to scream at her, saying that she was the "true" heir to the throne and that her parents had stolen the crown from her. The Princess knew that what her relative was saying were all lies and slander, and began to believe that her brother should put the wretch out of her misery. No one in the kingdom, including family, had the right to talk bad about their parents, rulers greater than her brother. It made her blood boil and her soft face grow an expression full of hate. When Saiska grew closer, the hags ugly face and deafening screams only inches away from hers, Aki kept her body calm yet her eyes flared with anger and sadness. "You're lying scum. My father would never do such a thing. He was a wonderful man and leader, better than anything you will ever be." She said in a heated voice, glaring right back at Saiska. The sound of her younger brother's stern voice rang in her ears, but she didn't stand down. The Princess was very tempted to raise her hand and slap Saiska's stupid glare off her face, but she unfortunately wasn't able to seeing that her brother had other plans in mind. She watched in glee as the king drew his sword and threatened the older girl in many different ways, all of which Aki wished to see. The thought of Saiska laying on the floor with a large cut in her stomach, slowly bleeding to death, was something she hoped to see. Or handing her over to that vicious supernatural they had recently caught. The things that beast could do to her... However none of these things seemed to happen as Carla and her little follower came back so suddenly, taking the noble away and ending the fun. "Let's hope they execute her." She said, turning her head to face John, surprised at what she saw. Her younger brother was trying to attack John, the most foolish move she's ever seen. Before she knew it John had Carlisse in a chock hold, his sword nearly piercing her brothers back. The anger in her eyes soon turned into worry for her younger brother. As idiotic as he was being, she still loved him dearly, and would hate to have him slain by his own sibling. However the young Princess said nothing, afraid that she might set John off and accidentally kill his brother. Forgive me Carlisle. She stared down at her hands in silence until her brother spoke his terrible words; "Family bleeds the same red as all the other filth." There was a shocked expression on her face her eyes quickly darting up to the two with a pleading look. Was he really referring to his own sibling as filth? Maybe her brother truly was losing it. Suddenly, John let out a terrible scream and flung his sword into the wall. The scream and the thud of the sword made Aki jump in surprise, a quick gasp escaping her mouth. Luckily both brothers were unharmed, though she didn't know how this would settle with them. Aki finally decided to speak up, her voice soft but a little shakey. "Carlisle, I suggest you leave before this escalates. I'll stay here with John. Please, don't put yourself in a bad position."

When Carlisle had left and it was just her and John, the Princess remained silent for a few minutes wanting the king to calm himself down. Slowly walking forward, she stood a few inches away from him, her soft pale hand reaching out and falling on top of his. "John, do not blame yourself for what happened. Carlisle will surely forgive you, and I know you didn't mean what you said. It was all Saiska. She's the one tearing us apart..."

When Eliza Parr walked into the main room she was greeted with the site of a maid standing at the opposite end of the room by the door. When she entered the room the maid quickly walked over and bowed to her. "Madame Eliza my name is Sofia I have been assigned to meet your needs for now. ((Ai that I am making as to interact with @FictionalReality. If that is ok)) What would you like to where today?" Her face always looking down as she was taught as to show her position among the nobles and higher ups. She had long black hair and was 5'6 skinny and looking to be in her late 20's.

Blood. Thick, coagulated crimson, seeping into puddles where they stood. It wasn't his- Yet he wished that perhaps it was. Eugene reached out, although was wrenched away with hisses "You can't save him lad. No one can." White eyes writhing in his face, his hanging features , like a devil's sick of sin; If only you could hear, at every jolt, the blood come gargling from the froth-corrupted lungs, obscene as cancer, bitter as the cud. Of vile, incurable sores on innocent tongues. If in some smothering dreams you too could pace behind the wagon that they'd flung him around. No more mockeries left for them; no prayers nor bells; Nor any voice of mourning save the choirs - The shrill, demented choirs of clashing steel. What candles may be held to speed them all? Not in the hands of boys but in their eyes. Youthful orbs looking up to the skies, with the holy glimmers of goodbyes.

Konstantin merely increased the speed, his breathing odd; out of time. Eyes looking almost feverish, or perhaps maddened by images. Images of the dead. Eugene shook himself, gritting his teeth to focus upon the forest looming ahead. He needed no men for this mission. Too many men, too noticeable. Or perhaps was he trying to protect them? He knew some were like sons to him. No! That wouldn't be logical, not logical enough for Konstantin. Hmph. Of course there was his current state, no soldier should see their captain like such. Yet whatever his condition, he would undertake the mission alone. Although he had no doubt Ferdinand would be playing a separate game of cat and mouse to his own delight.

Eugene entered the outskirts of the forest whence reaching it, his eyes flickering left to right with wary caution. He kept on, pressing further into the woodlands finding little but comforting green dappling upon his path, gently. The silence before the storm perhaps? Who knew.

Eliza jumped slightly at the appearance of the maid, looking up from her current letter, about a murder that had occurred on her lands. "Oh, um, hello." Mentally she slapped herself for hesitating, and took a second to recover her composure. She smiled slightly at the girl, hoping to relax her slightly "I'm sure I will be very grateful for your services Sophia. As for what I'm going to wear, it would be helpful if you could fetch my dark blue dress with the trailing sleeves. I must meet the king later today, and I need to look presentable." She spoke, not with airs and graces, but as a normal girl. She rose from her seat, standing a good few inches shorter than Sophia, and straightened the pile of letters on her desk, ready to be sent back to her lands.

Thiel Fareos

Mounting his horse Thiel fell in line with the other knights behind Captain Evermore. He sat the way he was trained to with one foot in the stirrup and the other free, holding onto the reigns firmly in his left hand his right rested on the hilt of his sword. Gently nudging the horses' flank with his heel Thiel got the beast to begin walking towards the gate following the captain he looked forward though also seemed to be looking at nothing it was a sort of empty, passive gaze the registered all but felt nothing. Thiel rode with a deadpan expression though he did allow himself to look around assessing everything around him it was yet another habit which he had kept from his training. Theil was well aware that many believed his nonconformity to the way of the kingdoms knight to be odd, but he kept in mind that the point of him being gifted to the young king was to share his ways and prove his worth. Coming out of his thoughts Thiel centered his gaze on the captain, still finding it interesting that a woman had been given the rank of captain in a land that rejected supernaturals. Though he supposed they believed that a human woman as a warrior was better than a supernatural drawing breath. It seemed to be an odd set off beliefs, but Thiel was in no place to question it. Moving his gaze past her and towards the gate he quieted his mind to focus on the moment.

Eliza changed quickly, shielding herself as best she could. She never liked it when the maids helped her change, it always made her feel nervous, and out of balance. As she changed, she replied to Sophia, "I should be fine from here, although I may need you later, when dinner is over. How may I call you?" She turned back to her desk, tidying away her quill, and placing the completed letters into stacks concerning their urgency. She always preferred to do this herself, and would likely hand them to a messenger herself in the morning, to make sure that they reached their final destination as quickly as possible.

Theria smiled and responded "Just ask another maid or butler to find me and I shall come." She noticed how nervous Eliza had become when changing and kept that note in mind. "I have nothing else to do so if you do ever anything then all you have to do is call my name madame Eliza." She smiled again and waited for what Eliza wished for now. Waiting for the specific command to leave before leaving.

Mizuki frowned slightly as she was instructed to babysit Jasmine. This didn't seem like a benificial job at all, and that it would be a burden to the group, but orders were orders. "Yes Ms. Carla, consider it done." She said with a quiet sigh, walking off towards the side of the stables. Around the corner say you Jasmine, the girl gleefully playing in the snow. "Excuse me Ms. Jasmine! Would you like to assist the Knights?" She asked, bowing respectfully to the noble.

"Life is a gamble"

Joshua muttered that to himself as he walked towards the castle's main gates. He didn't know where to report or who to report to. It was his first day in the kingdom, first day as a knight, first day serving in a proper army. He knew this was a big gamble. But he didn't care. His here for the fighting and the money. He secured his blade in his sheath waited for someone. Though he had no clue at all what to expect.

Jasmine had skipped her lesson to go play outside. She had no idea what was happening in the castle. She was just playing totally content but later on she was starting to get a little lonely. She didn't have that many friends cause most of them didn't like to do the same things she did. They were all very high class and acted just like their high class mothers. She wished she had a friend her age guy or girl she didn't care. She just wanted a friend her age. She was sitting in the snow thinking this when she suddenly heard a voice.

"Excuse me Ms. Jasmine! Would you like to assist the Knights?"

"Huh?" She turned around and looked to see was speaking to her. Oh Mizuki.....wait what did she say assist the Kinights? She stood up and walked over to Mizuki. "Wait I get to go? For real?! AWESOME!! Haha come on!" She grabbed Mizuki's hand and oulled her to the stables so they could get a horse.

Carlisle Beckenskach

~Prince of the Kingdom~

Location: Throne Room

Before he knew it, Carlisle was trapped in a rather tight choke-hold. He coughed, restrained, at the pressure on his trachea as his older brother held him in the crook of his elbow. He attempted at thrashing to escape John's grip, but his pale blue eyes had widened immensely at a sharp poke at his spine. Was that...his sword? His throat grew even tighter at the thought as the king hoisted him upwards in his grip to whisper ominously in his ear, asking what he was doing in a cruel, commanding manner. Carlisle's clothes began to tear in the back, and a sharp prick pointed painfully in the center of his spine. Blood trickled down his back and the tear in the back of his shirt increased. His own hands gripped tightly at John's hand around his neck, his knuckles white and the pressure he was using to try and pry the king's hand off of his trachea. It was no use, however.

He could not answer John's question, no matter how he had tried. Anything that came out of his mouth would turn out to be anything similar to a strained squeamish cry of sorts from the partial crushing of his trachea. He had then asked Carlisle if his action were one to ask for his own demise. The only response he could give was a slow shake of his head. All the while as Aki quiet, while her younger brother only wished for her, or someone, to do something to help him in his dire situation where he was helpless in his own brother's malicious grasp.

Carlisle hit the ground onto his knees when John threw him from his grasp. He was soon to scrabble away until the king continued to speak cruelly to his own brother, and it was plenty threatening. He gasped loudly with his hands to his own throat as he tried to regain any possible breathing that he could. His throat was red and on fire, and his breathing was quick and shallow once released from John's grasp. He continued to cough once released, only to soon hurt him even more. Carlisle fell back onto his hands behind him on the floor when the king's sword was pointed at him once more, and he was petrified to move even an inch. The sword was directly pointedly at his face, and his terrified blue eyes were directly at the sharpened point of the weapon. The most horrifying part was not the sword, but the empty, terrorizing glare that John gave his own brother whilst informing Carlisle that he knew that everyone knew that he was not one for dealing out empty, idle threats.

He knew that for a fact, and he knew it well. The tyrant of a king was one for no sympathy, and what he said was what would happen in the kingdom, no matter how horrible it may seem to anyone who inhabited the land ruled of John Beckenskach. At that mention, the sword dropped its point to his throat, and the king had mentioned something that could not be taken back once uttered from the man's mouth. The sword trembled before Carlisle, the king's hand shaking. His glare turned to something more remorseful, and the prince was still frozen from any sort of speaking. Yes, remorseful was the correct word, as well as being full of regret. This was a look that Carlisle had only seen from his older brother when they were younger and a time had called for sympathy and apologies as children. He never thought he would see such a look again from his brother, but the damage was already done, even as the king had tried to take back his evil words. Even Aki was speechless, almost looking at them both with a pleading expression.

And then the sword was swung up in the air, poised to strike. Carlisle's hands flew over his face, as he let out a pained, defeated noise in some attempt to deter John not to hurt him. Anyone would do as he had in such a dire situation. The painful seconds seemed like hours as the prince closed his eyes, blocking his face with his hands, trembling under the powerful, towering presence of the king.

John yelled out loudly, a terrible scream that had broken the dreadful silence of the throne room. Carlisle peeked through a couple fingers, his hands still over his face, to see the king with his own hand over his face. A loud thunk sounded as the sword embedded itself into the adjacent wall, and the prince on the floor trembled still—something maddeningly close to cowering. The king hunched over, hands over his face. And then the only voice they could hear was the abnormally light, shaking voice of the princess, asking Carlisle to leave the throne room before any possible escalation could ensue. He nodded, and that was the only think he could do as he scrabbled to his feet, his legs shaking as he fled from the room, still utterly horrified.

Anything after that was a blur as he made his way to his room and collapsed on his bed. He was faced with potential death for the first time in his life, and he would certainly be scarred from it more so than words could simply express. He had not heard any of what Aki would say to John in the throne room after Carlisle's departure, and everything around him was a literal blur, everything nauseous and spinning like intense vertigo. After that, he was sure that he had passed out afterwards as everything turned black as he lied on his bed. His heart had been beating something similar to a literal 'mile a minute', and the situation had nearly petrified him. It was no wonder that his body would soon temporarily shut down from such a horrifying scene.

Theria rushed out of the throne room after master Carlisle some tears had started to fall down her cheeks. Though she wasn't in the direct confrontation simply being in the presence of that horrifying scene was enough to shake her. Carlisle looked in a complete state of shock the way he was half jogging half stumbling back to his room made her even more worried for him. When they finally got to the room she had quickly rushed in front of him and opened the door letting him inside and closed the door behind her as she walked in. He crawled into his bed fully clothed and wrapped himself up in the blanket and lay there breathing heavily with wide eyes until he passed out. She had pulled up a chair in the corner of the room but hadn't sat in it. She had let her self cry in the bathroom not letting her cry in front of her master. After she was done crying she tried to fix her self up a bit and went and sat down corner letting her self calm down a bit more before setting out a fresh pair of clothes for when her master awakes and making sure everything was tidy and fixed up for him. He didn't need anymore stress than he had today. She sat down in the chair finally and tried to get a little sleep before he woke up again. Though she would make sure she didn't sleep too long and wake up at regular intervals to catch if he had awoken.

Besides having a child on the way and with everything going on, with an impending rebellion and civil war, Gwen was worried out of her mind, for what would become of the Kingdom as well as her husband, Carlisle. Due to her current condition though, she didn't really leave the palace, let alone her room unless it was time for supper or if she wanted to spend time with her husband. Most of her day was spent in bed because it was tough for her to walk and stand. Not wanting to leave her room at the moment, she waddled over to the window, overlooking the city from her room. Cradling her swollen belly, she ran her fingers down her hair to straighten it out and began wondering when her Husband would return to their chambers. She felt a dull pain and placed a hand on her back while still holding her belly. Carrying a child was tough, but she didn't think it would take this much of a toll on her.

The Tyrant King
Kayzo said:
"John, do not blame yourself for what happened. Carlisle will surely forgive you, and I know you didn't mean what you said. It was all Saiska. She's the one tearing us apart..."
John felt the warmth of his sister atop his gloved hand. It had been so long since he took the time to feel something, it surprised him a little. He took a deep breath and slowly calmed down. Her presence was calming to him, he knew that no matter what she would always be a ally. A gentile sad smile grew across his face, as he felt his heart warm with the pain of family. He slid of the mask of the Tyrant King and returned to his former state of mind. Gently he took her hand and pulled it up to his lips, kissing her hand with loving respect. He looked up at his sister with a sad look in his eyes. Tilting his head he looked into her eyes, "you always know just what to say my beloved sister."

"Though the fault does not completely lie with Saiska." Standing up he looked down at his small, delicate sister who looked so much like their mother. Feeling the heavy guilt of what he had done to Carlisle, he knew his father would never approve. The king before him was just, fair and tolerant, nothing like the man John had become. The sadness was evident in his eyes, they glistened with guided memories of a past long lost. He gently placed his free hand against her cheek. "Don't let your anger cloud your resolve for peace my dear sister. Someday, we will need a ruler like our parents, fair and beloved. I hope that you and your betrothed will do well in finding both." He pulled his hand away from her cheek and scratched his head, "I hope I did not frighten you my sister. It was not my intention."

He let go of her hand and took a step back, to distance himself as he once more took on the role of the tyrant. He turned away from her and headed to the wall where his sword was embedded deep within the wall. The unnatural strength he possessed when enraged made John uneasy. Training and combat may have been a part of how he was so strong, but there must be another factor. A factor that haunts John to this day. Grabbing the hilt of his sword he easily drew it out of the stone wall, leaving a large empty hole in its stead. Sheathing the sword he looked to his advisor. "Tristan I am heading down to the dungeons. I do not want to be disturbed. I'll arrive in time for dinner with my family and the royal court, make sure everyone attends."

Eliza nodded slightly, settling herself back into the seat she had previously occupied, but instead pulling out a notebook so she could record the issues that had be mentioned in the letters. Her work was never ending, due to the fact that she'd only just taken over. Her father had left the lands in tatters, and now it was up to her to fix the issues. She hadn't realised that Sophia was still standing there, and made notes for a good five minutes before remembering. Once she caught a glimpse of her out of the corner of her eye, however, she smiled at the girl and waved her hand "Thank you for your assistance. You may go now, and I will call for you again when the need arises." She looked down once again, not waiting to see the girl leave, and instead turned her attention to a letter she was writing to her sister. She had almost finished it, and simply signed it before placing into a separate pile to be delivered when the others were.

THE TYRANT KING

The King walked through the empty halls feeling the heavy weight of his burdens. He was more of a monster now then...before. Streaks of red dash towards him as the death of his parents engulfs him in a dark embrace. Standing there as he watched his parents be mutilated into nothing but quivering piles of flesh. The aggravating dust ration of trying to regain control of his body. The screams of his mother a piercing shriek that caused him neverending torment. The haunting memeoty rested with him every day. He could see his own blood soaked face in every reflection. Just as he did that day as he saw the blood soaked blade show his monstrous reflection. Placing a hand over his scar he continues to the dungeons in silence with the only memories for comfort.

His parents were killed, for fear that their rule would lead to human tyranny. Their deaths motivated him, to become the tyrant that the supernaturals feared so much. Taking the long winding staircase down into the dark abyss of the dungeons, John decended. With every step becoming more and more of the tyrant and less of the man he used to be.

At the final step he looked at the guards who guarded their special prisoner.Every guard stood at attention as the king arrived. John looked over all of them with steely indifference as he stopped. "Get the cauldron and chains ready, today we are going to get answers from the rebel." The guards fearfully nodded and half of them rushed off to prepare the cauldron for their fiery prisoner. John took this time to visit their guests. He walked over to the Zeaglem's cage and leaned in close. "Well, well, we'll Didreus how are you today?"

Mizuki couldn't help but smile at the smaller girl's excitement. It was clear that she didn't get out of the kingdom very often and she felt a little bad about that. However she wasn't her mother so there was nothing she could do to help, except in this situation. "Yes Ms. Jasmine, I mean it. You'll get to go into town with me and the captains. Won't that be fun?" She asked as she was pulled to the horses by her hand. The kingdom had a nice selection of horses, and Mizuki always found herself having a hard time choosing. And since she wasn't a knight yet the squire had no assigned steed. Smiling slightly she looked down to Jasmine and spoke. "Well, quite the selection yes? I'll let you choose which horse we ride on, but make sure he's big enough for us."

It was night now the knights and Captain Evermore had done their missions and were now on their way back. Thiel had stayed behind in town but her and the others decided to head on back. Plus She had to make sure Jasmine got home before her mother noticed. Carla was pretty sure that Lady Sasika was still in her room especially after that ordeal with the King. Jasmine was riding with Carla now and she had fallen asleep. They finally made it to the castle and Carla turn to look at the Knights. "Alright guys you free to go I'll bring Lady Jasmine to her room and Mizuki thanks for you were a big help today." Carla sat there for a moment not moving yet. She wanted to avoid the King cause of what happened earlier she was hoping that he was over it by now. She headed to the stables and put her horse up then she picked up Jasmine and carried her princess style into the castle. As she was walking down the hall she noticed a maid. She asked the maid if she could take the Jasmine to her room. When the maid agreed Carla started making her way to her room.

Eliza sat in the high backed chair provided for her, book in hand. She had come back from dinner a few hours ago, not feeling quite sure of her life, nor at all reassured about her position. Everyone had been very quiet, a few people, especially an older woman, looked very shaken up, and, most noticeably, the king had been absent. She dared not wonder why, but from what she could tell something had happened. She had been hoping to get her meeting with the king out of the way so that she could avoid him for the rest of her stay, but it seemed now she would have to schedule an appointment with him. Sighing slightly, she called for one of her handmaidens, and asked them to go and speak with someone about setting a time for her to meet with the king.
