Totally human, I swear!

He picked his luggage up from the dwindling pile of bags and dragged it to the crowd that surrounded the bulletin board. Waiting in line for a short period of time, he was further horrified to read his name on the bulletin board once he was at the front of the crowd.
"Why me?" He muttered, dragging his bags to the room that he saw he was assigned. From here, he planned to see which of his belongings had been packed, which were worth keeping, and how best to abscond with what he could.
Coming to the room as he passed a tall person with moth-like features, he found that the door was open, and near it was a box with a note on it.
He crouched down and picked up the box, righting himself and reading the note. He wasn't sure who Artem Malkov was, or who the box was supposed to go to, but knew he'd be remiss to leave the box where it would pose a tripping hazard, or where it could be trampled.
The thought that the box contained a weapon or other evil item crossed his mind, and he opened it to make sure that he wasn't about to equip someone with paraphernalia for evil, or deliver a damaging decoy. Judging by the smell, it was....
"Food? That's odd...."
He carried the box into the room, where he figured he'd just close it back up and hope for the best. He'd have done just that had it not been for the sight of an animate teddy bear unpacking somebody else's luggage.
