The Affluent Section holds a university, Preparatory High School, Library, and exercise field. It rings the edge of a lake, and is separated from the rest of town by a small forest. A set selection of healthy and extravagant meals will be listed on the town board each week, place a stamp given to you in your quarters on the ones you wish to eat. Any other food must be purchased in the town proper.

You will always be watched, aside from in your quarters, as the experiment is to see how humans will interact when given all necessities and a few set luxuries. Before you arrive in town you will have a chance to design your interior for your apartment within the Section.

12:00 PM

"Mayor O'Mally, they have arrived." Came the voice of one of her attendants, a tall woman with blonde hair and blue eyes. It was time, then, for the opening speech.

"You handed them the envelopes, correct?" She asked, standing up and grabbing the clipboard. Today she had a checklist on it, rather than blank paper, that would be for tomorrow. The experiment started then, giving them one night of hope. At the woman's, Erian she was called, nod Hope checked it. "Okay, I'll be out in a minute. Announce me."

"Right away Mayor." She walked out onto the stage, adjusting the mic to her height as Erian walked to the PA. Erian's voice boomed across the small room in Town Hall, "Attention, members of the Affluent Section. You will be addressed by our Mayor, Hope O'Mally, and then released to explore the section. We ask that tonight only you be in your homes by 9, as we will be setting up a few things before the experiment begins."

The curtains rose, Hope swallowed her nerves, standing tall and ready to begin. "Attention, Members of the Affluent Section. I am Hope O'Mally, your Mayor and ally. I am in charge of both the section and the experiment. All questions, needs, and personal problems are welcome. I don't know much of your pasts, I wasn't the one who picked you, but I know enough to be able to help. The experiment starts at six AM tomorrow. Listen to the officers, trust in each other, and live happily! Our town is open to you, my doors are always open, and the future is yours!" She threw up her hands excitedly, smiling brightly before sobering up. "Now on to some business. New rules will be made as necessary to ensure a healthy, happy life for all of you, but only if there is a serious problem. Open the envelopes previously distributed and you will find your apartment number and keys. All requested items are in these apartments, but feel free to mingle. I again ask that tonight only you return to your apartment by 9 tonight, as we are placing the finishing touches on our surveillance system. You are now free to enjoy the rest of the day!" Now stepping back from the mic, a signal that she was finished, she watched the ensuing reactions.

Kenta opened the envenlope and saw he got the room 104. He went to his room and saw that all the instruments he requested is there. He started to play the violin to keep his mind off of the fact that he got room 104.

Cara surveyed the small, but well-lit room. She wasn't exactly sure what she was supposed to do. The mayor had said they should mingle, but she wasn't sure who to talk to. After watching another boy open his envelope and leave, Cara opened hers. She saw she had room 102. Cara sat in her seat for a while longer, watching the remaining citizens. They were all fairly young.

Kristian decided that it was more interesting to study all of the other new residents rather than returning to his room which, after opening his envelope, he had found was room 103. He stayed where he was though, noticing the only other boy had already left. The mayor seems awfully young, he decided, but it was supposed to be some sort of experiment, so mayor was probably just a title she had chosen to simulate a real town. There weren't very many people there, five if you included the mayor and the boy that had already left. He wondered if this would be a good enough way for him to get a fresh start, or if he'd end up dwelling on it forever.

Kenta decided to quit playing the violin and try to socialize with people. Kenta goes outside and decided to play the violin and see if it attracts any attention.

Kristian heard faint music coming from somewhere. Odd, but I may as well go investigate. He'd already studied each of the two people that remained in the room. They didn't seem all that interesting, but everyone just got here and they weren't really settled in yet. He figured they'd be different later anyway. He followed the sound, and found the boy that had left first playing the violin.

Kenta said, "Hello. I'm Kenta Nakashima. Who are you?" Kenta was very scared to talk to another person.

Cara watched as the other boy left the room, leaving her and the other girl alone. Cara figured now was the time to leave, so she stood and exited. As she headed to the apartments, she came upon the two boys, one playing violin, and the other standing there. Cara decided to stand and listen as well. Then, building up her courage, she said to no one in particular, "Hi, uh, I'm Cara."

"Hi, um... Cara. I'm Kenta. I hope my violin playing wasn't too horrible and if I was bothering you I'm extremely sorry.

"Interesting name," Kristian said to Kenta. "I'm Kristian Maxwell. Nice to meet you." He heard another person approaching, but didn't turn until he heard a girl's voice introduce herself. He noticed that it was only one of the girls, the other must have stayed in the room. What for, though? Everyone else is here. "Nice to meet you Cara. I'm Kristian." He wondered how he had already ended up being the one everyone spoke to first. He hadn't decided yet if he wanted to try to get over his habit to distance himself from others and make new friends.

"So does anyone think this project seems a tiny bit strange. It kinda seems like we are lab rats and we're being experimented on."

"Just a tiny bit," Kristian's voice hinted sarcasm. Seems like I ended up with the shyest people here. Yay... A tiny sigh escaped him, but he answered Kenta anyway. He decided to step the conversation up a notch, from the generic stuff to something actually interesting. Kenta's question had been on par with talking about weather, but he was obviously shy judging by the amount of 'um's. "Why are you guys here? I mean, you wouldn't have left your old homes without a reason right?"

Yep, definitely shy. Kristian was only slightly disappointed. It was understandable, after all, that they not want to share that kind of information. Now that he though about it, if it were the other way around he probably would have punched the other person in the face and walked away. He just shrugged and said, "No problem. I understand." It was obviously a sensitive subject, and Kristian felt a little bit bad for asking.

"I'm s-s-s-sorry but I had a lot of family troubles and I-i-i would rather forget it. Sorry." Kenta begins to play again. This time he played Broken by Seether ft. Amy Lee.

Cara smiles at Kenta, "Thats a really good song." She then turns to Kristian, saying, "What brings you to this project town?"

Violet arrived to her apartment and she checked it out. It was nice, but she was bored. So she walked outside to find something to do... While she was walking around, her eye caught sight of a small group of people. She figured it'd be a good idea to get to know everybody, so she walked over to them. "Hi," She greeted them, trying to be a friendly as possible.
