Fantasy The Spirit Inside ~ Forest and Village

Bang!

The sound of gunfire shouted in the far west of the forest where the beacon should be. A small red figure dodged a large claw that threaten to slice his face in half. His figure shivered at the thrill yet horror of the fight. "Brrr. I need to be serious.." He said to himself before shooting the beast at the head. The huge monster fell with a 'thud', almost shaking the ground around them as the boy stood in the middle of a clearing where several other beasts were dead. Soon these beasts transformed back into humans, creating a mess from the amount of blood they have.

The boy took off his hood to reveal his feminine face that would actually fool people to think he was a girl. From his big blue doll eyes to his long soft blonde hair, it was hard to accept the fact that little red riding hood is actually a guy.
Smiling, he casted a spell to make his guns disappear and grabbed his basket as he headed his way towards the beacon, hoping to find a village somewhere.

Kyngerz kept his sword raised, the ax in the other hand ready to be thrown with one swift movement, the two new characters that showed up had caught him off guard, something that rarely happened so now he stood there, and pointed his weapons at the two beings "And you, who are you? What are all of you looking for?" he asked, he would soon be surrounded surely and was not sure who was friend and who was foe. All he could do was wait for the others to response.

"I mean no harm." Dia said staying in place firmly although he was ready to strike at any moment. She could feel the intensity in his aura he was ready for battle. The beacon of light that was displayed attracted more than just her, she was sure, and he knew it too. Ignoring his second question she asked him again. "Who are you?" She would like to know who someone is before telling them anything else about herself, including her reasoning for being in the forest or what she was looking for.

Lena heard someone call out who she was. She decided to ignore it for now, resting peacefully on the grass, with her eyes closed. She looked like she was lifting 20 kg's, with her forehead a bit sweaty.

"By the gods!" Squawked Flint.

He was regretting his promise to Belisair as the two 'human' looking creatures surrounded them. Flint's small head was throbbing at the sight of these strange 'humans'. Were they friend or foe? The crow unsheathe his rod preparing for the worst as he balanced on Beisair's shoulder. His body was coiled up; tension was in every weak muscle. The bird waited impatiently as Kyngerz did the talking.

A figure moved towards her from deep within the woods, still rather dirty from head to toe as he walked quietly. From the moment of waking up, he had only been plagued with more unanswerable questions, and sought out Anything at all. Now seeing a person on the grass, he pulled out his knife warily and made his way towards her with purpose. "Hey kid!" he called out sharply, figuring she looked harmless enough "Wake up! You from around here? What is this place?" His intentions were rather hard to distinguish.

Lena opened her eyes quickly, as she sat up, looking a bit startled at the person. She stood up calmly, and gave the man a patient smile

"Well, This is just a clearing... with a big beacon shooting up to the sky... I don't know anything about it... Are you okay?" She asked, slowly approaching him, with a quite worried look on her face.

"Can I help you?"

Lila sat there, on the ground just staring at the people. Her fear only seemed to grow at the appearance of the other female who showed up shortly after Lila's tumble. The imposing man was pointing his weapons around, and clearly being very intimidating. The Yuan-ti shivered again, her purple scaled arms going up to hug herself tightly. "P-please.." The word was whispered, the voice dripped softly and fearfully from those delicate lips. Lila made no other movements, she had no weapons, and even if she had, Lila'Vjola would have had absolutely no idea how to use them.

"P-please don't hurt me..." Her eyes danced this way and that, trying to watch all of the people at once, while trying to keep most of her attention on the most threatening one. "I-I'm l-lost..." Lila might have said more, but she was too afraid, and not entirely sure what else she could say. If these people decided to slay her, there was little she could do. If they tried to re-enslave her, she could try to run from them, but doubted she would get very far. They seemed like extremely capable people. Maybe they would be nice. Lila wasn't sure how likely that was, but there was still that faint glimmer of hope in her frightened eyes.

"I can see the beacon~" Chesire sang as he walked across the forest rather cheerfully. His red, slightly blood stained hood covered his face in a shadow, smiling as he started to hear voices from a distance. "And I can hear a battle coming~" He stopped for a second to think a way to avoid them since. . . he's not used to strangers. Looking at a rather large tree, an idea popped up and jumped as he hid within the trees to watch the scene. . .

“I don’t think there any point in hiding Kyngerz; Flint and I are literally still glowing. Also, this was not intentional I’m not even capable of performing magic this powerful, at least not mortal magic, for the same reason today’s medicines can’t heal you.”

“I would focus on the,” he looked over his shoulder at the blade wielding newcomer with claws, “the witch if I were you Kyngerz; this Yuan-ti is harmless.”

Belisair backed up to Kyngerz and whispered on a breeze that would only reach his ear, “The winds is being really cooperative right now, and I can hear more people approaching, on the wind. If they prove unfriendly, I can get us out of here in no time. Don’t engage in anything you can’t drop on a sheel ((tiny coin equivalent to a dime)). Also, that wrongness we sensed from earlier has followed us.”

Everything was getting out of hand very quickly, ‘Every time I use Sylph magic, life gets more difficult. I really need to find the Sylph; there simply aren’t enough to go around.'

Flint gawking at the Yuan-ti, with his staff still over his head ready to strike. Seeing it's purple snake tail glimmering in the light, he twisted his head in in bewilderment. It was definitely not a full human.

"What the hell is that?"

The man raised an eyebrow, surprised at her carefree reaction. Finally taking the time to look around, he glanced at the others with guarded curiosity. It seemed as if he had been dropped in a rather odd setting, with strange beings around, but he didn't have much time to ponder. Turning his attention back towards Lena, he narrowed his eyes and pointed the knife in her direction calmly "So you don't have any answers, Fine, doesn't seem like anybody does. And yes, I'm fine, I'm sure, but you might want to back up a little bit. Better safe then sorry"

The Palsiet growled as he introduced himself "I am Kyngerz Plagkets, Known in this tongue as 'The Kings Plague', Oracle of the Palsiet, Slayer of the Great Ice Dragon Fer^Thung, and Grand General of the Great War of Beings." The Palsiet lowered his weapons slightly, he knew that Flint was about to jump out of his feathers as more humanoids approach, he was okay with the Sylph as his form was bizzare enough to be confusing, but the humans where based too much off the Palsiet.

Lena stopped moving, as she looked a bit confused at the man.

"Don't worry.. I'm not going to hurt you.. I can't f-" She stopped, as she looked at the girl, who was sitting a bit from her, looking like she was frightened.

"Uhm... C-Can you give me a moment?" Lena asked the man, before slowly making her way to the girl

"Uhm.. Excuse me... Are you alright?" She asked, approaching the frightened girl, and kneeling down in next to her

"Stop that Flint. You're scaring her. She's running from bad memories just like you are. Be nice."
"Sorry!" said Flint as he put away his weapon. Still noticing that the snake 'human' was afraid he weakly smiled and waved a wing in greeting.

Just then Belisair took notice of an elf and a thing that looked human, but was empty where his life should've been. 'Kyngerz is not going to like that.'

Lila had no idea of what to do, this situation, it was very overwhelming. More people were showing up. The Yuan-ti looked as if she might cry. Though crying would do no good at all, she also made no move to get up, yet. When the bird spoke, Lila stared at it, sure she could speak with snakes, but that was using their own tongue. She had never met an animal that could speak like a person. Lila's body trembled just slightly, she was considering running away, but if she did, she would never make it out of this forest. Assuming that all of these frightening people weren't really frightening.

Suddenly there was a person kneeling in front of her, and Lila squeaked lightly and immediately began scooting back, away from the girl. Her arms no longer wrapped around herself, her scaled hands on the ground, using them as leverage as she scooted back. Away from the girl that had suddenly appeared in front of her. Lila still made no move to stand, fear kept her on the ground. This situation, it was too much, she glanced over at the bird again, it was waving at her. Lila blinked at the bird, and the man whose shoulder he sat upon, both were still glowing.

That glowing man with the glowing bird looked the least threatening. Lila was on her feet in a matter of moments, her reflexes snake fast, and she darted around to stand behind the man with the bird. A purple scaled hand reached out to very gently, very lightly grasp the back of the male's shirt.
"P-please...please don't hurt me.." A small sniffle followed those lightly whispered words.

"Take your time,," He muttered in response to Lena, sheathing his knife after a moment of hesitation. Looking up, he saw the sun shinning brightly in the sky, but grew confused when he realized he couldn't feel the warmth of the rays. "What the hell is going on,,," He said to himself. Being drawn out of his thoughts, he couldn't hold back an amused smile to see the antics of the frightened creature.

"Hello there Yuan-ti, I see you are marked. Where's your master?"

Belisair was trying to ease the tension and was failing miserably; with every new arrival, Kyngerz was getting more aggravated, and with every humanoid arrival,Flint was shuffling closer to his head as if he wanted to tuck beneath Belisair's hair and disappear.

Lena gasped quietly. "P-please...please don't hurt me.."... The girl sounded really frightened, even terrified. She stood up, and slowly looked at her, a bit worried about her. She then looked at the man. She stayed quiet.

"Uhm... Little girl? Can I... Help you in some way?" Lena smiled a bit, looking at the youngling, as she took a small step forward

"I'm not going to hurt you... I don't know how to fight" She exclaimed, crouching, still smiling gently, but keeping her distance, as to not scare the girl to death

Flint was worried and aggravated as he held on to Belisair with one hand and his staff hilt with the other. The throng was getting bigger every minute.

((Alright I need to get this train to a station immediately. Let's resolve this dissonance.))

"I wouldn't hurt anyone on purpose, little scale. What's your name and what are you doing out here? It's dangerous here."

Belisair didn't wait for an answer he just wanted to give the Yuan-ti something to focus on.

He looked around and decided it was best to address everyone before things really got out of hand.
