The Soul Factory
The Soul Factory has operated for more than 20 years, creating artificial souls to live in the bodies of those who died too early. Those who lost someone dear and still had the intact body would contact the factory and tell them the personality of the person that died and in a few weeks it would be done. At least that's how it used to be.
After the factory gained popularity they started mass-producing souls, giving customers "the closest resemblance to the description" which was of course not accurate. The people that saw their loved ones alive, but with a different personality revolted and went to attack the factory. In their attack, they didn't harm any worker, but they opened a soul capsule.
The soul that escaped its capsule, angry because of his long imprisonment, killed every worker in the factory and every single attacker. That happened on the 15th of November 2130. Every captive soul was freed and then hell started to unroll before humanity's very eyes.
15 years passed since the unfortunate event. The Soul Capture Force (SCF for short) has been created to capture every soul that has been set loose and restore the peace. One of their biggest responsibilities is to protect civilians from the souls that desperately want to feel human.
