The Serpents
[div class="tabcontents tabcontentsone" style="display: none;"]
information
The Setting; Friday at about 8 pm. Mid-July!
Julius' passing was unexpected for everyone. Unfortunately, most deaths in this lifestyle are sudden and unexpected. A month has passed since Julius was killed and his funeral has come and gone. The decision was made, much to some members disapproval, for Casey to come back and merge The Serpents with his gang Outlaws. This was deemed a vital necessity in order to triumph over their shared rivals. Anyone who was opposed was free to leave, most chose to stay despite their disagreements with this choice though not everyone did. Outlaws took on the Serpent name and jackets as a part of this merge and were told that this was the cost of remaining in the gang as The Serpents had been around longer, had higher rank and bigger numbers. The combining of these two different motorcycle gangs was decided on last week but tonight is the first party to celebrate this move and to help people mingle amongst one another. The party is at the warehouse, mostly in the back outside area but also scattered around the rest of the place as well.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The Serpents warehouse was acquired by the gang years ago because of its big size. It was renovated in a house like manner. While some of the serpents choose to permanently reside here not all of them do. Some have their own homes separate from the warehouse. Still, rooms are typically available for all members and those closest to the gang. It is referred to most often as the warehouse, the clubhouse, and headquarters by the members.

First Floor
Den Area; This area is equipped with several couches and chairs set up near a large flatscreen tv. There is also a bar located nearby and two pool tables in the same area.
Kitchen Area; This medium-sized kitchen is usually stocked.
Holding Cell; This room appears normal on the outside but one inside, there is no way out. The door stays locked and there are no windows. It is used for enemies, victims or rats to be placed until the members decide on what to do with them.
Main Bathroom; This is pretty self-explanatory.
Two Master Bedrooms; These are designated for the Leader and Second in Command and are the only bedrooms located downstairs.

Second Floor
The Dorms; The second floor is mostly made up of bedrooms. There are at least 20+ rooms for members to crash in. Some live in them full time and others don’t.
Bathrooms; Self-explanatory but there are 6 of these full bathrooms on the second floor.

Outside
Front: There is a patio with multiple benches and a large area for all the cars and motorcycles to be parked.
Back: Large patio with some tables and chairs, a stage-like platform with two stripper poles, a bigger bar & large pool off to the side. The back area is a pretty big area.

Serpent Owned Businesses
Midnight Fantasy; Strip club located not too far from the Warehouse. One of the first places Julius bought out and where some of the girls work.
Luckys; Night club located close to the edge of Serpent territory. This place often gets a lot of drama/rival fights due to how close it is to the edge.
Roots; Mechanic shop in town which was once owned by a local. He was going bankrupt and forced to sell. The Serpents bought from him and took over the rights. They allowed the man (who they came to call pops) to continue to run things as long as they could get their bikes worked on free.

Initiation
To join The Serpents members are made to prove that they are willing to get down and dirty. This process can be different for each new member depending on what the high ranked members decide. Feel free to get creative with how your character (if an official gang member) was initiated in.

7pm most weekdays meant that Midnight Fantasy wasn't that busy. Tuesday's were the worst by far, the few businessmen and late-night scumbags all huddled around the mainstage with only a few bills in their wallets. These were the guys you would hate to get requested by. They often didn't listen to the no-touching rule or couldn't pay for their dance. There were more than enough fights and shouting matches, some of which would put the whole night on hold. Bella would hardly dance these nights, and her manager knew better. Bella always drew a crowd, but she wasn't a new girl trying to makes waves. She had been there since she was 18, and she had gained the respect of everyone who worked there. Except for Andy, but he was a dick anyway.

7pm on a Friday night, however, was a much different story. The day would start off slow, but as the hours ticked on and they got closer and closer to Saturday, the crowd would grow. Big spenders, CEOs, lawyers and other executives. It was a good night to work. And Bella loved it. The music, the attention, and of course the money she could make. On a good night, she could take home almost a grand. Her best night was actually a few months ago when she raked in almost three thousand. She was...a popular pick with soldiers who had just come back home. The single ones anyway, the married ones just liked the talk a little. Not that she minded, it gave her plenty of practice. They weren't the only ones who liked to talk either. Those big spenders and CEOs? They had some pretty loose lips when a pretty girl is giving them a show. The things she and some of these other girls knew...they could blackmail half the men that lived in the area and get away with it. This was a really fun place to work.

The dressing rooms were buzzing with the dancers working tonight. All in scantily clad outfits their families wouldn't approve of as they got ready for their dances or working the floor serving drinks and entertaining other patrons. Bella was among them, sitting at one of the vanities to touch up her makeup. She was serving drinks until her first dance at 8:30 when more people started showing up. If she was honest, she didn't like being a hostess. She couldn't tell how you many times someone had grabbed her ass, completely ignoring the biggest rule, but she got a few extra bucks. The dances were where they were really at, nobody here could draw a crowd like she could. But most of these girls hadn't figured out the pole on the main stage just yet.

Anyway, if anyone was coming to see her, they'd know where she was. Standing up from the vanity after touching up the smoky eye and red lipstick, Bella ran a hand through her hair. She needed a hair cut, but the long hair she had was really great for that feminine vibe you were almost required to have as an exotic dancer. 7 inches heels, high waisted shorts that showed off a little too much for most company, and the dark red clingy crop top that was certainly a fan favourite; she was dressed and ready for a productive night.

The music filled the air along with the sounds of what crowd was already there cheering on Majesty, one of the newer dancers who was obviously a little shy. But she was cute and had a great body, so her flubbing some of the dance moves didn't matter much to the men watching. Bella sauntered through the crowd, a few of her regulars greeting and already trying to flirt with her as she made her way to the bar. The side stages had the brand new dancers, not many people were paying attention to them and neither would Bella tonight. "Hey Danny, I need a tray."

The man behind the counter, a rather friendly guy who looked a lot more intemidating that he really was, smiled a bit..he had full sleeves, one of his eyes was scarred to hell, he was a veteran and the regulars knew that not only was he a bartender but he was a bouncer too. The girls here all felt safe when he was working. "Yeah no problem Bella. Why you serving though, shouldn't you be on stage?" He asked, turning away from the customers sitting down to get what she needed.

"You know how it is, save the best for last." Bella giggled as she took the tray from him. At that same moment, a table of men in suits called her over, causing her to chuckle again. "Duty calls, I'll be back in a little bit." Bella spun around, a seductive smile on her lips as she approached the table. It was time to get to work. She knew about the party at the Serpent's warehouse, but Bella wasn't a member. So she decided that making money tonight was better than crashing a party.

In front of her was a beautiful young woman, grinding against one of the stripper poles on the stage. Behind the young dancer, a violet sunset lit up the sky. Jana smirked to herself, taking another swig. While she wasn't particularly happy about this merger, she did have to admit that it had its benefits. When Case's older brother died last month, Jana promised him that she'd be there for him through it all. Little did she know it would eventually mean completely throwing away their livelihood and join his old gang, the Serpents. New tattoos, new jackets, new locations, and - worst of all - new people. It took Jana 21 years to finally find a group of people that made her feel like she could truly be herself, and now she had to do it all over again. The past week had been one of the most stressful in her life. This party was meant for everyone involved in the merge to wind down and get to know each other, but Jana wasn't particularly interested in the latter. She knew who she needed to know, and everyone else were just background elements. Finishing her beer, Jana stood up and gave the dancer a wink. She began to make her way to the bar, her combat boots thumping against the patio. People swarmed around her, dancing to the (in her opinion) terrible upbeat dance pop that was blaring through the speakers. She earned a few confused looks from the party goers; she attested it to the fact that she was a woman in a Serpents jacket. The people glancing her way were sure to earn a thick-lipped scowl from Jana. Being the only female member of the gang was something she was extremely proud of, even if she'd much rather be wearing her Outlaws jacket. Approaching the bar, she leaned against the counter and waved at the bartender. "Bottle of Guinness, please," she requested, a very slight eastern European accent slipping through. Serpents
Roxanna had never been one to shy away from a party, especially a Seprents party. They always seemed to have the best alcohol and sometimes the entertainment to match. Plus, this party, in particular, was important for her to attend. It was the first since Julius' death and since Casey's return. She promised Izzy that she would be there. She wanted to make sure her best friend had a good time in the midst of all of the craziness. Julius' death had been hard on everyone but having lost her father to this lifestyle, Roxy knew it how it felt for the actual family of the deceased. It was heartbreaking.

She pulled up to the warehouse, making sure to grab her party favors she'd brought along before stepping out. She tossed them into the small blue bag she pulled on her shoulder and looked around. The parking lot was already filling up and the party had just begun. She was sure some people had been drinking all day, it was normal around here on weekends. She made her way inside the warehouse, saying quick hellos to some people she noticed as she walked towards the back patio. There were already dancers on the stripper poles and plastic shot glasses all over the tables. She shook her head a smirk on her face as she stepped up to the bar. She was ready to get this party going and have a good time.

"Two tequila shots, Tony. Please," she winked at the bartender, someone she knew very well and waited for her shots. She was already anxious to get a few shots in. "You're the one they've been going on about, I assume," she said when she noticed the young girl sporting the infamous leather jacket only official members wore. "I heard you were the Outlaws first and only girl. At least here you aren't alone, right? Stevie is pretty cool," she commented. She didn't really see the huge deal on the whole merger thing. These people were handpicked by Casey who she felt was trustworthy enough but of course, he had left so she was surprised at people being wary about it. "I'm Roxanna. I prefer Roxy though," she added, thanking Tony for the shots he handed to her. She downed one and the scanned the room again, she had ordered the second for Izzy but she wouldn't hold it too long before she decided to take it herself.

Harleys roared outside at nightfall as festivities commenced to commemorate the memory of a fallen brother - his legacy forever engraved into Serpent history. With Casey's return, two gangs - the Outlaws and the Serpents - merged into one in hopes of using all their resources for vengeance. After Julius' death, Casey returned to Charming as the rightful heir to the throne. Their first priority was to find who killed his brother and bring them to justice - their justice.

Sunken into his seat at the table, Casey puffed away wordlessly as he pulled the cigarette from between his lips. He glared at the gavel before him, unable to find fulfillment in finally achieving his childhood dream. He never meant to rise to this position under these circumstances, but was drawn back to Charming after his brother's demise. Casey always knew he would return home in some manner, simply wished it had been under different conditions. Five years away had been a long time, despite seeming brief. He returned to take over the Serpents, a position granted to him by birthright. He however failed to dismantle his years of hard work in West California and brought them along for the ride - hence the merger.

Guiding a half-full glass of whiskey to himself, Casey gulped the cold beverage away. He leaned forward, leaving the glass empty on the table - his hands coming together in a position of prayer. He however was not a religious man, believed in a higher power but refused to implore from it. That same higher power took his brother away, so why ask of someone so cruel? In any case, Casey was mentally preparing himself for what was to come. They had no leads to his brother's murderer, all the rival gangs possibly guilty. Business declined drastically as their partners refused to work with the new head of the table. Everything seemed to start crumbling down and Casey felt the weight of it all. He felt alone again as he did under brother's shadow years ago. Everyone from Charming he once called family was now a stranger. The family bonds that once tied them together had snapped and he was appointed to fix them.

The tragedy that occurred a month ago was no accident. Whoever attacked knew the domino effect the loss of Julius would create - understanding how business in their world worked. With the Serpents stepping back to recuperate mentally, other gangs were quick to jump into the business of gun distribution. Looking at the numbers, it was clear the Serpents would soon go into bankruptcy if they didn't step to the plate within the next few days. Having opened multiple businesses, the club relied on their income to keep everyone afloat and employed. The one thing Casey wanted to prevent was to destroyed the lives of all the people his brother cared so dearly about. If he could honor his legacy in some manner it'd be to keep everything he'd done alive.

The kind of girl that men and lesbians alike would chase after. And, under any other circumstances, Jana would. "I don't know Stevie well enough to call her cool," Jana sighed, shifting her eyes back towards the girls dancing on the stage. "I'm Jana." Jana wasn't looking for a conversation, but she had a feeling she'd be getting one anyway. She scanned the crowd, hoping to see a familiar face that would give her an excuse to walk away. An almost sickly sweet giggled passed over her lips as she shifted closer to the man in a dark blue suit, hiding a grimace as he placed his hand on her waist. The past ten minutes she had been sitting here, listening as these guys not only disrespected and degraded her and her co-workers but spilled more secrets than they realized. The longer she stayed there, the more she found out. Raising a glass to her lips, she took a few sips of the light champagne, her attention briefly moving through the crowd, she spotted her manager. She was an older woman with salt and pepper hair, in her mid-40s, always wearing some sort of animal print. That woman was actually the reason she met the Serpents and why she now occasionally worked for them. She raised her hand, the obnoxious red acrylic nails summoning Bella over. "If you'll excuse me, gentlemen, I think I might be going onstage a little early," Bella cooed, slowly standing. She tugged at the bottom of her crop top, adjusting it a little before making her way over to the oldest woman in the building. "What's up Diana?"

"Maria called, she'd gotta leave that Serpent's party early. Something to do with her kid," Diana said curtly, looking down at her phone. "I want you to go ahead and take Majesty's next dance so you don't leave empty-handed, alright?" The older woman then looked up from her phone, eyebrows furrowed. "You know where the warehouse is right?"

"Yes ma'am," Bella replied. Well, her goal of getting a nice paycheck tonight was just thrown out the window. But she'd get free drinks and at least some money so...it didn't bother her much. Not to mention she knew Casey was back in town. Bella hadn't been able to go over this past week, at least not for long, so she hadn't been able to talk to him yet. That crush she developed before he left was...it never actually went away. Anyway, once Diana was done talking, Bella turned and headed backstage. The next dance was her's now, and once people noticed it was her onstage instead of the scrawny blonde, all the attention turned to the main stage as Bella came out on stage.

What had been some random rock song quickly turned to a sultry pop song. See, each girl had their own style and while there was some overlap, Bella loved the slower songs that really showed off how she could move. As soon as she started dancing, rolling her hips and swinging herself gracefully around the pole, the money started leaving wallets. Three and a half minutes later, the song ended with Bella hanging upside down. She was smiling at the crowd, throwing out a wink before she landed on her feet with her back to the crowd. The lights dimmed right before she started collecting her money, which was about 150 dollars. Once again, Friday nights were good for business.

She gave a wave to the men cheering as she headed backstage to grab the small leather backpack she used a purse. She stuffed the cash inside, not bothering to change her outfit as she headed back out onto the floor. Another girl was on stage, another popular one which meant that she could easily slip through the crowd and up to the front door. Waiting there was the main bouncer and the best dog in the world. Felon. Bella always brought him everywhere she went, and here at Midnight, he was a much-appreciated addition to the security. He looked like a little demon to most of the patrons, but to everyone else who knew him, he was just a giant teddy bear waiting for some of the terrible food to fall on the floor.

But now, as she grabbed his leash and headed out, Felon perked up like he knew where they were doing. The warehouse was maybe 10 minutes away, though Bella was maybe regretting not at least switching out her shoes. These 7-inch heels were great for dancing, but they weren't all that comfortable. It didn't matter though, Felon was way too excited and pulling her along for Bella to even take a moment to get them off. Felon loved everyone in the Serpents, even the new members now that Bella had them all given him treats to buy his love.

As she got closer, she could hear the music and the bikes, a small smile pulling her lips upward. She may not have originally been planning on going to this party, but...it was going to be fun regardless. Once inside, she leaned down and unhooked Felon from his leash so he could run around and say hi and do dog things while she got to work. Her eyes scanned the room, noticing the meeting door room was closed. She wanted to say hi to Casey before she got started, maybe have a drink too but...Jana and Roxy were both over by the bar. She didn't want to deal with Roxy right now, it was clear she wasn't here as part of the party but for work based on how she was dressed. Plus Bella never wore shoes like this casually.

So instead, she headed over to the meeting room, pausing for a moment before she raised her hand and knocked on the door. Without really waiting for an answer, she cracked the door open a little, enough to stick her head in and smiled once she saw Casey sitting in there like she thought he was. "Hey Casey, welcome back." A part of her wanted to keep the fact she was dressed for work out of eyesight but...since she was currently 5'10" instead of 5'3", that might be hard. "Why are you in here instead of out there with the party?"

Normally, at a party like this, Devin was in the middle of things, playing host, making sure no one was in want of a drink or a snack or a conversation. But times were hardly normal, were they?

And so Devin was sulking. Like a petulant goth teenager, if he was honest, all in black from his worn Converse to his button-front shirt, his jacket draped over his shoulders, arms flapping empty at his sides. He’d been in California for over ten years, and the heat still made wearing leather seem like a cruel joke.

Everything about this party made him want to scream. Julius hadn’t been buried a month and he was supposed to sit here and smile and pretend he was happy Casey and all his new friends were here now?

Fuck that. Fuck this.

If you don’t like it, you’re welcome to leave, old man Guidry had said. And even though Devin knew nothing would have made the miserable old bastard happier, he’d even considered it. Go back to LA and the mob. Or even back to Boston. (No one would know him there, anymore. It would be like haunting himself.) But if he did that he'd be just as bad as Casey. His family was here. Who knew how to actually run the fucking club?

Who would take care of Izzy if he left?

Knowing it was the right call didn’t make it any easier to handle though.

He took a sip of his wine and then grinned as a big black dog bounced into the party. He pulled his phone out with his free hand. bella made it safe. thx again for letting us borrow her, he texted Diana, making a mental note to himself to make sure he found Bella before she left and tipped her. He hadn't spotted Izzy yet, though he was sure she was around. He'd find her soon enough too. He sighed and headed into the party. If Case was going to sulk inside somewhere the whole time, he might as well take advantage and be seen giving a shit.

It's what Julius would have done.

The music was pumping, the bass beating against the walls of Stevie's purple-themed bedroom. The walls were painted a lavender color, while the bed linens and accent pieces were color-coordinated in a dark jewel-toned amethyst. A velvet arm chair was strategically placed in one corner, angled to face the door. It was rather dark, the room only illuminated by the dimmed faux crystal chandelier that hung in the center of the ceiling. Therefore, the dark-haired woman who sat in that velvet armchair was mostly hidden in the shadows.

Stephania Torrero loosely held a highball glass in one hand, an amber liquid she knew all too well filling it up halfway. There was a apricot pink stain delicately placed on the rim, perfectly matching the color of her lips. Something about throwing this party didn't feel right. With Julius gone, who had been a staple and a savior in her life in more ways than one, the celebration seemed sadder, less deserved. Nevertheless, Stevie knew it might be exactly what the rest of the Serpents needed in order to try to move on from the tragedy and become acquainted with the idea of merging with the Outlaws.

So, with that thought, Stevie threw back the rest of the glass of whiskey and stood. She assessed herself in her full length mirror once more, determining that her outfit of denim shorts covering fishnet tights, a black tank top cut low under the arms, and black stiletto boot heels was good enough for the night's event before slipping out her bedroom door and down into the main area of the warehouse.

A cluster of Serpents and Outlaws filled the space, some dancing to the music, others chatting by the bar, and a few out on the patio. Stevie's chocolate brown gaze assessed the area, reading facial expressions and looking for anyone that might need her. She had been with the gang for a while and, given her nursing background, had taken on a mom/caretaker role for its members. She made sure she knew every single member, wanting to help them in any way they may need or want. If push came to shove and worst came to worst, Stevie would gladly but her life on the line for any Serpent. She wasn't quite sure she could say the same about the Outlaws, not yet anyway.

Satisfied that everyone appeared to be okay, Stevie slipped out onto the relatively quieter back patio and lit up a cigarette. Placing the cancer stick between her lips, the brunette inhaled deeply and let the toxic yet comforting smoke fill her lungs. The nicotine combined with the whiskey she had drank earlier set off a slight buzz in her head, just enough to make her feel better but not too far gone. Glancing up at the night sky with a pretty smile, Stevie couldn't help but think that maybe the party would be alright after all.

Her young and bubbly personality energizing him to his feet - straying from the brooding isolation spell he had been under. Having the opportunity to interact with her that evening was a pleasant surprise. He had missed the chance to see her as business crowded his schedule the last month. So Casey pushed away from the table, leaving his empty glass and burning cigarette behind to greet her. "It's nice to see you Bella," he expressed, holding his arm out to give her a hug.

She was taller than remembered, but after all it had been five years. He however then noticed it wasn't natural height, but those god forsaken shoes she wore for work. Chuckling to himself he started moving out of the office with her and into the fray. The music clashed with his eardrums annoyingly, making him squint in cringe. "Let me get you a drink before you go," he insisted, signaling Tony to get him another fill and one for his guest. He took the chance to greet the other ladies - Jana and Roxy - who where seated next to them. Though as he leaned forward and his forearms relaxed on the countertop, he noticed Stevie from the corner of his eye - he figure making her way out into the back patio.

Turning back to Bella, Casey was quick to apologize to the young girl. "Sorry Bella, I have to- Please enjoy the evening, if you need anything let me know. We'll catch up later okay..." he said hurriedly, leaving the bar scene and heading after Stevie as if on a mission. Tony the bartender stood frozen and ignored, sighing as he goggled the two glasses in his hands. He put one down in front of Bella and turned around to take the other one like a shot; pure stealth. Casey himself made his way through the crowd, guests trying to stop him for a greeting but were bluntly ignored by their host. Reaching the double doors, Casey took a deep breathe and gathered his thoughts before walking through. He found himself back in the serene as he escaped the boisterous affair and joined Stevie under the night sky.

"Hey," he greeted, making his presence known as the doors shut behind him. He walked up next to her, pupils staring into the abyss as his mind walked the halls of memory lane. "That's a bad habit you know?" he joked with her, trying to break the ice with his dry sense of humor. "Stevie...I...I never got the chance to tell you how much I appreciate everything you have done for my family," he started, turning to face her respectfully. "You have given everyone in there your everything. The Serpents, Izzy....and Julius. He cared a lot about you, more than he probably ever let on. And I'm not fool enough to think coming here makes any of this easier for anyone. It's been five years and everything I thought I knew about this club has changed. I'm not proud of a lot of the choices I've made, but......Stevie what I'm tryin to say is...." he paused, his hand lifting to embrace her arm, but drawing back as someone came through the double doors. He acknowledged the man, giving him a farewell nod before he disappeared around the building. Turning his attention back to Stevie he continued. "I need your help. You know these people more than I ever have. I need you to help me gain their trust. I'm not asking you as Club President. I'm not asking on behalf of Julius. I'm asking you as a friend."

Isidora could hear the music bumping from where she sat in her room. Well, it wasn't exactly her room, but being the sister of the former leader and Casey had it perks. She'd claimed this room and no one else was allowed to stay in it without her approval. Currently, the door was locked, and the brunette sat at her vanity, two lipsticks in hand. One black, one blood red. Looking between the two, she leaned back in her seat, sighing.

"Black means mourning. Am I still in mourning?" She spoke aloud to no one in particular, sliding her gaze from it to the red. "Or do I go with the bold color, the one that draws the most attention?" Pursing her lips, she looked back and forth between them again, finally setting the black one down. Painting the matte red lipstick on her plump lips, she leaned forward, popping them at her reflection.

"Perfect." Leaning back again, she stood, clad only in her underwear. Picking her jeans up from the bed, she wiggled into the tight things before grabbing the corset top she'd chosen, sliding it on as well. She clasped it and then spun it so that it was correct, reaching behind her to tie it. Once that was finished, she slid her feet into her heels and ran her fingers through her hair once more for volume.

Never one to not make a statement, she inspected herself once more in the mirror before moving to unlock her door and pull it open. Making her way downstairs, in no hurry, she rounded a corner just in time to see Casey and Bella talking. She slowed even more, but Casey fled the scene, leaving the dancer behind in the dust. "What's the matter, Bella? He didn't have time for a dance?"

Her voice as snarky as ever, Izzy brushed past Bella and headed for the main room of the warehouse. Eyes turned to look at her as she entered; just the way she liked. Smirking and waving, she spotted Roxy at the bar, holding a shot and a conversation with a girl in a Serpents jacket. Sliding up on Roxy's other side, she snagged the shot from her friends hand, downing it in seconds. "That was for me, right?"

Laughing, she slid her gaze over to the stranger. "And who do we have here?"

Jeremy wasn't naive to the fact that he still had alot to prove when it came to the Serpents. He'd never expected to be in the position of another gang, nor did he expect Julius to die so suddenly and Casey feel as though he had to take over for him. Not that Casey wasn't a good fit for the job-- he was. Best qualified, if you asked Jeremy. But when he'd told the Outlaws they would be joining the Serpents, that was a shocker. Casey better not fucking die anytime soon, because Jeremy wasn't cut out to be a leader. A rockstar? Hell yeah. Leader of the Serpents? Nooooo. But at least he wasn't the right hand man of an unfamiliar gang.

Clad in a large t-shirt and some baggy jeans, he wasn't much to look at. Not like the girls and the honeypots who always dressed for the occasion. He'd already been at the warehouse when the celebration began, so it was easy to slip into taking shots and playing beer pong. In fact, that's where he was now: kicking ass at beer pong. He was reigning champion, and didn't plan on giving that title up anytime soon.

"Oh, yeah!" He sank the tiny ping pong ball into his opponents last cup standing, following it with the second. Grinning cheekily at the guy who'd been stupid enough to oppose him, he lifted his hand and wiggled his fingers at him in a sarcastic wave. "Nice beating your ass!" He called as the guy muttered something under his breath and walked away. Normally, Jeremy wouldn't have stood for that, but he was in a good mood. "Yeah, yeah, fuck off." He laughed, resetting his cups and holding out his arms. "Who's next against the champ?" He called out, looking around the room. "No one? No one at all?"

He spotted a looker in the corner, watching someone take shots. Shit, if she wanted a show all she had to do was come over here. An idea occurred to him, and he casually walked to the other side of the table, grabbing a ball from out of the cup. He tossed the ball over his shoulder, and in her direction. It bounced lamely a few feet away from her, and rolled in front of her from one side to the other. Okay, so he wasn't the best at overhanded shots, but whatever. He still had to rescue the ball.

"Sorry about that." He grinned at the girl as he got closer, tossing the other ball up into the air and catching it. "Didn't mean to almost hit you with my ball." Oh, yes, innuendo intact. Jeremy was nothing if not charming.

Two measly drinks in and he was already beginning to feel the buzz. The room hadn't began to spin quite yet but he found it hard to focus on one thing for too long. His actions seemed a bit sluggish, his thoughts even less put-together than usual. Lately, the only time he felt genuinely happy was during this buzzed state. He had been affected by the death of Julius in ways he hadn't expected. It was hard to feel happy when the one man who made you feel like a part of something was just... gone. But the way he felt right now, the happiness he had only experienced through strong drinks and denial for the past month, seemed oddly genuine. While some of the others saw the merger of The Serpents and The Outlaws as a burden, Frankie only saw the possibilities. And besides, he had always been a bitch for a good party. He grabbed his third glass from Tony, humming appreciatively as it was slid across the bar. He knew he should cut himself off soon if he wanted to wake up the next morning without a raging migraine, but he had nothing better to do. Rubbing his eyes to clear his vision, he looked around the room, desperately searching for something, anything, to do. With a deep sigh, he turned back in his chair, stuffing a generous tip in the tip jar. "I'm gonna run laps," he said to nobody in particular. He was talking to Tony, he supposed, but he had long since left his stool to serve and hadn't heard him at all. "Right." He exhaled, taking his glass with him before he left. Stuffing his free hand deep inside his pocket, he walked, scanning the room for one The Outlaws he could introduce himself to. He swallowed the fleeting feelings of loneliness with the strong liquor he lugged. Being one of the newer members meant he didn't have the deeper connections the others had with each other. Often, he felt out of place. He had to force a smile onto his face, which quickly melted into a genuine once again. Even though it took the tragic death of their beloved leader, he had high hopes for the new merger. He wouldn't technically be the newbie anymore. Maybe- hopefully- he might get more respect from the others. And, even better, it might be an opportunity to make some friends. "Alright," he talked to himself, bouncing at this newfound determination to meet and befriend some of the Outlaw members. That's what the party was for, after all. "First person I see..." He should have considered the possibility that not everyone was as open to interaction as he was before he approached the man, but by the time he had, it was far too late. He approached him just as he made a comment about hitting a poor woman with his ball. An innuendo, of course. Even Frankie, notorious for missing the point, noticed it. Hey, at least he could use the opportunity as a conversation starter. "Wow." He was unable to keep the comment from slipping through his lips, his tone so full of disbelief and, honestly, embarrassment. "I can't believe I had to see that," he breathed, wide eyed. He stood so he was shoulder to shoulder with the man he hadn't even spoken to before, the woman having trailed off by then. "Does that line usually work on women?" He looked up at the man with a knowing smirk, moving so he was standing in front of him. So poking fun at another gang member wasn't the wisest thing he could do, but it was all in the name of fun. He hoped he made it clear through the stupid, shit-eating grin he wore, but he threw up his hands in defense just in case. "For real though, sorry if I interrupted you and..." He trailed off, not knowing the woman's name or even what kind of thing was happening between her and this man. Chances are, he didn't know her name either. "I'm just trying to meet the others, y'know? I'm Frankie, by the way." He extended a hand. [/div][/div] [div class=tagbar] [div class=tagcont][div class=tag]interactions[/div]

Bella couldn't help but smile a little brighter when she saw the smile on Casey's face. It was always nice when it felt like someone was actually happy to see you, and outside of work, this didn't happen too often. The Serpents were all nice, but seeing as how she was nowhere near an official member, she was often in the company of the other girls. Or only around when she was needed. Anyway, she watched him as he stood from the table, Bella letting the door swing out now instead of holding it mostly closed. She, in a weird way, felt oddly exposed. Her clothing was certainly provocative, and while she was excited to see Casey, she didn't expect to be dressed like then when they got to talk. Not that it particularly mattered, it was just...not ideal.

When he held his arm out, offering a hug, Bella happily took the opportunity. Still smiling as she held onto him for a few seconds before pulling away, her hand moving up to tuck some stray hair behind her ear. "Actually, I'm working here tonight. One of the girls had to leave early, so Diana sent me as a replacement. But...I won't say no to a drink." The woman giggled, stepping aside to let him pass. She walked with him up to the bar, making sure to be on the opposite side of the other girls as Tony gave her a drink. Taking a sip, she turned slightly when Casey spoke again. It was easy to hide the disappointment she felt, a sweet smile still persisting as he apologized. "No worries, you go do what you have to do," She said with a slight wave of her hand, watching as he left. Bella's smile dropped when he had her back to her, a soft sigh passing over her lips.

She had just taken another sip of her drink when she heard the familiar voice of Izzy. Oh great. Her snarky, condescending tone filled the dancer's ears, her gaze briefly shifting down to the drink Casey had gotten her before she looked up and to the other woman. Well, women now that she was sitting next to Jana and Roxy. "No. But I'm here for the next few hours, so if you want one, just let me know. My rates are very reasonable." She smiled again, running a hand through her hair before she pushed away from the bar and finished her drink, leaving the glass on the bar. Bella smiled at Tony before she walked away. The poles we're all in use at the moment, but she would just have to find one of the girls to talk to in order to find out the dance rotations. Bella didn't want to include on someone else, so for now, she found a seat a little away from the crowd.

Felon found her a few moments after she sat down, hopping up on the couch beside her. He laid his big head down on her leg, this sweet puppy dog eyes looking up at her as he huffed. "What? Don't like the music?" She chuckled, moving to scratch the area between his ears. "You're lucky you're cute or else I'm not sure they'd let you in here."

The tight jeans and corseted top she was wearing was doing the entire room a lot of favors. She recognized her as Izzy, Casey's little sister, but they had never gotten the chance to properly meet. Jana smiled back at the two girls, taking another sip of her beer. She towered over both of them, forcing her to look down to make eye contact - which also made it very hard not to stare at Izzy's, uh, assets. Roxana Winters
Serpents
Roxanna could feel the tension in the air but she wasn't very easily intimidated and she knew everyone was on edge with everything going on. She studied the girl for a moment before speaking again. "You'll get to know her, I'm sure. Everyone does." Roxy shrugged as she spoke the words. It was true though, most everyone got to know Stevie and she was well-respected among the Serpents. It had taken some time for all the men to get used to a woman in their ranks but they had. At least most of them had, some still had their reservations.

It didn't take long for the girl to inquire about her connection to Casey and it was quite an easy answer. "We kinda grew up together since we were neighbors. Well, that and my father was a Serpent. I'm also close with his sister, Izzy. I haven't seen Case since he left though. How is he?" she replied. Just as she got the words out Izzy came waltzing up, taking the shot just from her hand. "You're lucky. I almost took yours," she laughed. "You look hot girl!" she added, giving a playful once over of her best friend.

Her eyes then scanned the room, catching sight of Jeremy as he asked for another person to beat in beer pong. She could probably whoop his ass in the game if she tried, she had a lot of practice. She knew he'd also been part of the crew Casey brought along because she recognized him from his time in the serpents. She decided to go mess with him, especially because Bella had just walked nearby and she wanted nothing to do with the girl.

"Izzy, I will catch up with you later, yeah? I spy eye candy," she grinned, turning her direction to Jana as well. "It was nice meeting you," she told the girl before bouncing off in the direction of Jeremy. He had now made his way over to one of the dancers who seemed to be shutting him down rather quickly. She couldn't help the laugh that escaped her lips when Frankie so boldly commented on this fact. "That line doesn't work on anyone. Frankie. He needs better ones," she chimed in, a smirk still on her face as she spoke.

Devin was at the wrong end of the yard when Casey finally emerged from whatever cave he'd crawled into with Bella, and then abruptly left her at the bar next to Roxy and a freshly arrived Izzy, and if Devin was the sort of person who screeched he would have done it then.

To be absolutely fair to Casey, he had know way of knowing that the three of them were currently in a small but active war, but that was the sort of thing you'd want the guy in charge to know, right? Since leadership was managing people.

He should probably warn Casey, when he got the chance.

Bella removed herself from the situation before Devin could make it to the little group, just after Izzy joined them. Devin left the group of girls be and followed Bella.

"Are you kidding? Felon's the backbone of this organization," Devin told her as he came up to the couch. "Thanks for coming over on short notice. We appreciate it."

Felon raised his head and started wagging his tail when he saw Devinn. The dog was obviously a fan of him, letting out a soft bark. Well, as soft as he could manage since Felon sounded very intimidating and also didn't have great volume control. Bella couldn't help but giggled a bit, still petting the part-time guard dog before she looked to Devin. "Of course, how could I be so blind. He's obviously the boss here." This dog had a majority of the people here wrapped around his gigantic paw and could get away with anything. And Felon knew it, standing up on the couch before he hopped down and rolled over onto his back, now asking for belly rubs as he wiggled there on the floor. Bella couldn't help but chuckle, leaning down to pat him before she sat up and focused on Devin again. It was odd to heard someone actually appreciate what she did...or at least, odd to hear it when said person sounded sober.

"Thanks, Devin, that's sweet. Trying to get a free dance?" Bella teased. Devin was really nice, at least he had been to her. Most of the guys here were, which really helped her get comfortable back when she first started out. Being a scared 18-year-old called in by Julius himself to help with one of their missions was absolutely paralyzing. But she wouldn't have met most of the people she considered friends and family if she hadn't shown up. And there was a very good chance she wouldn't have. It was terrifying.

Bella suddenly started scanning the room when the along that had been playing ended, watching for one of the girls who had been on a pole to see if she would get a chance to talk, but it seemed like all of them sprung right into the next dance. They were probably following a similar system to Midnight, the better dancers went on later. She saw a few girls just roaming around, flirting with some of the members who were always drawing bigger crowds back at their actual brick and mortar workplace. And Maria was one of those. Her stage name was Persephone, she would do the innocent thing that slowly went into more...advanced moves as her dances progressed. It was actually really nice to watch. "So Devin, you come over to chat or just to try and steal my dog?"

Unlike Jana - she was smooth. Turning back to Izzy, Jana smiled. "Speaking of eye candy," she said, biting her lip. "You look great, tonight. Casey never told me his baby sister was such a lisica." Breaking out the Serbian was always a good move. Ladies love an accent. Jana always was skilled with the ladies, even ones that didn't usually swing in her particular direction. While Jana wasn't looking to fall in love, she was looking for a good time - and Izzy seemed to be just the kind of girl that would be happy to forget about it in the morning. However, hooking up with Casey's younger sister may not be the best idea. Jana shrugged these intrusive thoughts off, though. She was too buzzed and stressed to care. Outfit: x | x

A few stars twinkled every so often, the lights from the city around them just bright enough to block out the majority of them. Nevertheless, the moon case its light down through the few clouds in the sky, illuminating the patio in an almost intimate way. Stevie inhaled from the cigarette again, chasing it with a swig of whiskey before looking out over the party once again. A few of the younger members stood across the patio, a cooler of beers in between them as they chatted. Another few stood off to another side, smoking whatever it was they wanted to smoke. Though the party was shrouded in a bit of sadness from the loss of their leader, everyone seemed to be having a good time. That was the least she could ask for.

The door popped open for just a second, releasing the sound from inside out on to the patio. Stevie turned when she heard a familiar voice, spotting Jeremy through the window in the door. The resident king of beer pong, no doubt several shots in with several more in waiting. Stevie made a mental note to keep an eye on him as the night progressed. Jeremy, though a bit child-like in nature, did love to party, and all too often went too far when he did. Stevie couldn't help but smirk at the memories of having to pick him up from the bar before he left the Serpents for the Outlaws, quipping at each other as she dragged him into the car by herself. Frankie approached him with a smirk, easily making conversation in his own way. He might be a new recruit, but he seemed to be fitting in well. At least from what Stevie could tell.

A familiar voice pulled Stevie from her thoughts, directing her attention to the man now standing alongside her outside. With light brown hair and blue eyes, the brunette immediately recognized a man she hadn't seen in quite some time. "Hey," she returned with a small smile playing at the corners of her lips, appraising him teasing. "Long time, no see, Casey." Taking another drag from her cigarette, she tilted her chin up to blow the smoke into the air above their heads before meeting his gaze again. "Bad habit maybe, but keeps the stress a bay," she half-joked, shrugging one shoulder. The air between them was tense, there obviously being some awkwardness between them. Casey's words kind of broke that down, and she tilted her head as she listened.

"Come on, Case, you know you don't have to..." she said, but trailed off when he continued. Her relationship with Julius had been complicated to say the least, only worsened when Casey left all those years ago. She did know how Julius had felt about her, at least part of it, but had never returned those feelings. She couldn't. Stevie stiffened ever so slightly when he raised his hand, not because she was afraid of him, but just out of instinct. She could tell from his eyes that there was more going on in his head then he let on, but decided not to comment on it. The nurse let the sound of silence ring out between them for a moment, considering his words. She took another drag from the cigarette before stomping it out beneath her heel.

Stevie evenly met Casey's gaze again with her own, smiling. "Case, you don't even have to ask. I'm not going to lie and tell you that you didn't leave a big hole here when you left. But it's nothing that can't be mended," she answered softly. "But Julius would have wanted this, would have wanted you to come back and take over. I know it, and I'm sure the rest of the Serpents do too. So, of course I'll help you." It was an easy decision, one she barely had to think about. Ever the maternal one, Stevie lowered her voice and asked, "How are you doing? Feeling? Are you okay?"

Casey couldn't help but feel admiration towards Stevie and the strength she had displayed over the years - cigarettes and whiskey showcasing how much she had changed. Her loyalty and devotion to their club had not gone unnoticed, even to Casey who had been absent for such a long a time. Moreover, now that Casey needed her the most in these dire times she did not hesitate to step up to the plate - flourishing as the backbone to the Serpents Motorcycle Club. If there was anyone Casey trusted the most it was Stevie, even over his own family who seemed more distant than ever.

"Thank you," Casey said, voicing his gratitude towards her willingness to help. It was difficult for him to speak about his brother so openly - feeling the weight of his memory with every word he uttered. He had been so used to locking away his emotions that they had become almost impossible to express. Even with Stevie being so reliable, Casey could not allow himself to drag her down the road he was on. He wanted her to remain pure of heart and shine as the light in their never ending darkness. He never truly realized that she had broken fragments like everybody else - simply figured they had been put back together in the five years he had been gone.

"Stevie, you're remarkable," Casey expressed, flashing a wholesome smile before she got around to asking him some questions. It had been a month since Julius' funeral, but the days came and went that Casey did not have the time to sit down and reflect on the events. He had been so busy with the merger, club business from both sides, property management and other things that he never gave himself a second to process his own emotions. Really unaware of himself, his mind begun to clutter with a number thoughts. Like a tornado, remnants of his experiences passed by so quickly he couldn't pinpoint the sentiments tied to them. He understood that his current emotions were absent joy and happiness - two things that made them very unpleasant to hear, forcing him to keep them from being exposed.

"I'm good, Stevie," he lied, the only words he could say to prevent any further worry. He did not want her or anyone for that matter to see his weaknesses. As new president he could not afford to be characterized as unreliable due to his mental state and emotional trauma. He was a biker and a gang member, living a life of masculinity, sex, drugs and guns - the definition of a man. Forced to push all shit down and prevent exposing himself, Casey again drew his hand and placed it gently on Stevie's shoulder - still flashing that signature smile. "Yeah...I'm good," he repeated as to assure himself and Stevie that he would get through it okay. "Now I'm going to go enjoy the party. Might even get a private dance," he joked as he pulled away towards the doors - strategically getting away from the conversation before he spilled his heart out. "Thanks again, Stevie," he finished, going back inside into the fray and joining all the drunk roughhousers in their escape.

Devin grinned and sat on the ground, obligingly giving Felon the requested belly rubs with one hand while holding his wineglass out of the dog's reach with the other. It was perhaps not the most dignified place to be, but petting dogs was more important than dignity. He looked up at Bella's joke and grinned, gesturing to his chest with his glass in mock offense.

"I can't believe I let you think I'm a cheap date." He took a sip before adding, "My tastes in dancers is more dudes who could bench press me, in any case." He didn't add that he thought of Bella too much as a little sister for a dance from her to not be weird as fuck.

He looked down at Felon at Bella's last question. "A little of both," he said. "It's nice to have a conversation with someone who isn't..." he paused, searching for the right word--or a civil word, at least--and settled on, "Stressed." It was a good word, but it didn't quite convey the tension between the Serpents and the newly patched outlaws as everyone tried to readjust and find new hierarchies. And he should have been above it all, but he was small and sure some idiot from the Outlaws was going to think they could push him out of the way. It was exhausting just to think about. Devin sighed and said, "It's been a long fucking month."

It would be a lie to say that Izzy didn't believe she was a step above the rest. Although she would never say that she was outright better than the other members of the Serpents, she did feel that she had a higher ranking than most, being the younger sister of both the former leader and the current. She and Casey weren't on the greatest of terms, but still, he was her brother and the new leader of the merged gang. She'd spent alot of time when she was younger acting out, and feeling as though she had a right to, because she knew she had the protection of the Serpents behind her.

It had gotten her in quite alot of trouble.

Roxy excused herself to go spy on some eye candy, and Izzy just waved her off, watching as she headed towards Jeremy and Frankie. Giving a small shake of her head, she returned her attention to the other female, who'd introduced herself as Jana. Intrigued, Izzy straightened and nodded as the accented girl spoke. "I am." Confirming that she was indeed Izzy, she motioned for the bartender to pour two more shots. As they were slid her way, she held one glass out to Jana.

"Where are you from, Jana?" Izzy asked casually, downing her own shot afterwards. Popping out her hip, she placed a hand on it, drinking in the girls presence and attention. "And how did you come to know my brother?"

The beautiful woman across from Jeremy obviously didn't seem the type to appreciate a good line, as she simply quirked a brow in Jeremy's direction and crossed her arms. Before Jeremy could comment further, another member joined them, throwing in his two cents almost automatically. Jeremy shot him an annoyed look as the honeypot-- whose name escaped Jeremy at the moment-- laughed. "Trust me, honey, it doesn't." She winked at Frankie before giving Jeremy a look of her own, walking through them and back into the throng of the party.

Retrieving the ping pong ball from the ground with a sweep of his hand, he had half a mind to throw it at the shit eating grin on the intruders face. "Frankie, huh?" He muttered, reaching up to remove the beanie from his messy hair, running a hand through it. The anger from losing the honeypot had already escaped him, and he grinned at Frankie. "You'd be surprised what works and what doesn't sometimes. The names Jeremy." He grasped the other mans hand and shook it, just as Roxy made her appearance.

"Evening, milady." His grin now directed at her, he rolled his eyes. "I've gotten many a woman with that line before, Rox. No need to rain on my parade. Besides, it might have worked on you once." He glanced back at the beer pong table, which was still empty save for the set up from the game he'd just won. "Pong, either of you? Both of you versus me. Reigning champ." He jerked his thumb in his own direction, tossing the ping pong ball in the air and catching it behind his back.

Bella placed her hand on her chest, mocking offense. "Who's to say I couldn't bench press you?" Obviously, she was just teasing, a light giggle passing over her lips a few seconds after as she returned to normal, watching him give Felon all the belly rubs. The dog was very pleased with this situation and unable to keep his muscly body from wiggling. Bella couldn't help but chuckle at the stupid little grin he had on, leaning forward slightly so her elbows were resting on her thighs and her arms were crossed slightly. "Every other week, Monday night would be more your style then. Just a fair warning, pretty sure most of the guys dancing do some sort of drug."

The girls drew the biggest crowds, but Diana didn't want to lose out on the money from guys who swung the other way. So twice a month she'd have Pride Night. Some of the girls still worked to serve drinks, but Bella normally didn't. Not that she didn't like anyone who was there, but the bartender gave her weird vibes. Anyway, she sighed a little when Devin mentioned why it was nice talking to her. She could already tell the place was stressed, she could tell the moment she walked in. And when she saw Casey just before he smiled at her.

"Yeah. Hopefully, things will settle down a little now. Julius would hate it if this didn't work out. He really missed Casey." Bella wasn't close to their previous leader, but some things were just clear. He cared about the Serpents and even though he broke away, that still meant his brother. "You don't have anything to worry about though. Julius trusted you, and if the Outlaws are serious about trying to blend, they'll have to take that seriously. Besides, what is it they say about us shorties? We're meaner cause we're closer to hell?" Bella smiled, giving him a little wink. "I think everything will work out."
