I can’t see Adriana wanting to do the ritual just because she’s not interested in being some powerful vampire she’s mostly just like... hanging out and living life ane wouod be fine with just having jewelry.

Gotta say, if it happens she would probably have an ally in Mortimer after what occurred to his late wife. Stringing her up on a cross with a trial that has no defence and all that -- eesh talk about bad memories

True true!

Also I wouldnt see Augustus Craving the Day walking thing. His tattoos are already kinda permanent. So her and Mortimer would have a powerful ally. He would attempt to talk both sides down and if that failed would attempt to get her to safety. (Likely somewhere overseas.) however it would take sometging pretty serious for him to get involved in a violent way.

Lets see what happens down the road, and if Augustus would have it in him to act harshly on someone.

Hmm...Interesting. She's a chill character.

Then it sounds to me like we will be needing powerful npc antagonists.

Probably, if one of you would want to do so then go ahead. :)

Mostly she’s not sure how she feels being a vampire because she was turned in a pretty tragic fashion and she’s still hung up on what happened to her family so she kind of just keeps herself alive and tries finding happiness in simple things while feeling guilty for being what killed her family. I feel like part of her character development will be learning to live with what she is because she can’t change it! Or I guess... she COULD if she found out about a cure for vampirism...

I posted in the main RP ya'll :P Main RP

Maybe she might want to use Vienna as a cure. (The cure is basically used to reverse a vampire back into a human.)

Ooo nice! I didn’t think of that before. Adriana has been mostly on her own since being turned, besides a couple of years she stayed with a low-level vampire clan in a rundown part of NYC, so her powers aren’t extremely developed... or at least not the to the level they could be.
That is, if William doesn’t decide to kill you to erase all traces of his shame.

sprouhtt sprouhtt William would likely be in league with those witches, perhaps as business. He is also concerned with the different populations and how they interact. Unbalancing the witch population would likely mess up his plans somehow, so he’d help those trying to use the spell in Vienna. But he won’t reveal that until the very end. ; )
Either way, William is definitely an antagonist, but a deviously mysterious one. Good luck to your characters figuring him out.

Vienna's gotta watch out for William then...

Well hopefully he doesn’t :P

Does "noble" mean born into a Lordship or a highstanding Vampiric group? Because Mortimer is a Lord. How does being upper class help? Sorry for all the questions! :p
I mean a very old vampire family that has grown very powerful over the ages, and thus passing that power through their bloodline. Any vampires turned by them gain their power, to an extent, so they dislike creating new vampires for that reason as well. It’s not just political influence, but that is also a part of it. William’s family essentially control France.

I’m assuming a lot, so feel free to correct me in anything sprouhtt sprouhtt

Well...he can own many territories in France, but not like the whole France. :P Idk...

Ahhh! Okie dokie, that makes sense. Because getting a title as a human and then bonuses as a Vampire sounded odd. I was ready for some class war :')))

Ridge Ridge I just saw what Kiera's theme song is, and you're now officially my favourite person

I woke up to a whole lot of pages of OOC, haha.

apolla apolla
Works for me. The relationship would only be a few months old given he just moved back to town. Unless she knew him from before he moved. Potentially through Jacob (the younger brother who's 16) or something. Completely up to you. ;]

Ridge Ridge
Sounds good. Maybe they'd lived in the same neighborhood and were among the group of neighborhood friends that got together constantly or something? haha.

Just an fyi for anyone interested. Taylor's disappearance and presumed death along with the fathers death is left rather open-ended, purposefully mind you. She could be missing, or dead. It could have been a simple break-in gone wrong with only human involvement. Or it could have to do with a supernatural individual. If anyone wants to claim ownership of the incident and work out details I'm down. Same deal if someone's character just happens to know what happened but wasn't involved. Or if one of the supernatural communities knows what happened due to the individual involved being among their kind but helped keep it covered up or a secret. (Simply throwing out random concepts, it could be literally anything. ;] )

Either way, if something’s happened concerning Redwood, the Vampire Council will know about it.
; D

I've posted, and successfully rambled for three paragraphs (;

So are vampires born or must all vampires be turned by other vampires? If they are born, what age would they stop ageing at, or do they choose, or is it random?
If they are only turned, is it the transference of blood between the victim losing blood and gaining the vampire’s blood from the teeth that causes turning?

Just so I can work out my bio. : )

Vampires:

There is a process in becoming a vampire...
Process:
When a person is bitten, they have twenty four hours to basically choose life or death.

  • When first in transition, the victim will feel thirsty, irritating throat, high temperature, excessive sweating, irregular heartbeat, they become pale, and nausea.
  • In order to finish the transition, they must drink from a human and their 'master' or better known as the person who had bitten them.
  • Once the transformation is completed, that newbie vampire will be sired to their creator. (Meaning, you can feel their every emotions, and thoughts.)
  • Only way to break a sire-bond is by either killing the 'offspring,' or just getting a witch to cast a spell.

Born or Bitten?:
You are not born a vampire. Since the aging for vampires is much slow, the reproduction system of female vampires runs so slow that it does not work to its full extent.

  • The only way for them to have a child is with a werewolf/human/witch. (If a male vampire releases during intercourse in a female opposite of his species, then she can carry the child. The male reproductive system works to its full capacity.)
  • As for a female vampire getting pregnant after intercourse, that is ONLY possible if she mated with a werewolf. For some reason, a werewolf sea-men (haha), is much stronger and faster when it makes contact with the egg.

So there you have it, I hope that answered your question. :) Kloudy Kloudy

A little supernatural Sex ED on the lower part of this post

Right, that works for me. Thank you, should probably put that in the the lore section if you haven’t already. : )
mian mian So how does this affect our history? Somehow, your character will have had to bite me back, so we should probably include that in. Perhaps you woke up to find your family slaughtered with me still there, so you instinctively bit me?
