Realistic or Modern The Runaway (IC)

“And, submitted! Now that’s over with. Clothes were next, right?” he looks over to Lawrence. “Where should we start looking?”

"Underwear so you can stop wearing the same pair every day we are going to burn this pair" Lawrance teased him "Then we can get PJ'a and regular cloths"

Elliot shook his head. “You’re already an embarrassing dad, and I’ve only known you for a few days. Okay, so this site sells lingerie.” he teased, figuring he could get back at him.

"You want this stuff you can buy it yourself, your getting plain tight wightys or ones with superheroes" Lawrance rebutted and pulled up target insted.

“It was a joke anyway.” he giggled. “Don’t dish it out if you can’t take it.” Elliot shrugged, taking the computer.

Elliot shrugged. “It’s not like anyone's going to see it. Doesn’t matter.” he looked over to the computer screen. “I don’t recognize most of them anyway.”

Lawrance chucked then said "Considering how happy the idea of Superhero undies makes Wolfwere I don't think buying them is a good idea cause he'll pry keep stealing them" as he cliked back.

“Then just plain ones, if he’s going to steal my underwear. Silly boy.” he scratched behind Wolfwere’s ears.

Elliot frowned at the sizing chart. “I suppose this means I’ll be wearing skinny jeans for the rest of my life.” he clicked on his size, sighing.

“I am both disturbed and comforted by that fact, never share it again.” Elliot shook his head. “My dad, hippie man.”

"Na, I'm actually not that much thinker then you, just more muscular" Lawrance said and kissed his head "Now pick out some close from here and we can look at other stores too"

Elliot smiled widely. “Thanks. Maybe one day I’ll be like you.” he shrugged. He picked out a few outfits, nothing expensive, nothing too colorful. “Okay, done. That should last me a while”.

“Oh, uh, I’m done?” he said it like it was a question. “I don’t need that many clothes, I bought too much already.” Elliot wanted to turn the laptop back to Lawrence, tell him that he didn’t deserve all of that. But then he’d never hear the end of it. Sometimes the support was more overwhelming than the abuse.

"You need some nice cloths to, for going out, tell you what, get one pair of dress pants and three nice shirts then we can call it a day. And if you see something you like while doing that then you can add it" Lawrance told him.

“Oh...okay.” Elliot picked out the items he talked about. They seemed a little unnecessary, not functional, but he trusted Lawrence’s judgement. His eyes lit up at the sight of a small blue fanny pack. “That.” he said, wide-eyed. “I want that.”

Lawrance added it to the cart chucking before asking "may I ask why?" He was mearly curious. Wolfwere shifted then and layed his head down between his paws.

“My mom liked them. I had one when I was seven. It’s one of the few things that I do remember from my childhood.” he explained, petting Wolfwere. “Sleepy, huh.”

“Uh, no. That should be all for me.” Elliot smiled. ‘It’s already too much.’ he thought, still petting Wolfwere. “I’ve got all I need, for someone who doesn’t normally get out much.”
