Log 8: February 16, 2020, past

"The rabies one works on the animals and unfortunately the humans. Things have become chaotic they're trying to blame me for this sudden breakout of both humans and the animals becoming rabid. We've been in a constant state of lockdown the Upper Floor is now sealed off and we are trapped Underground. They say that more government officials are coming and they're going to tranquilize the animals and the humans that have went rabid after that they want me to experiment on those things and try to figure out how to make humans unaffected by this. Delta is with me, he seems to be doing fine compared to the other animals. I'm still trying to figure out why Delta is the only one that's been able to talk so far and also how he is fine and also how I am. I will say that I did inject myself with Delta's blood at the beginning early stages for some odd reason I felt like he showed the most potential. It would seem I'm right because even though he had been bit by one of the Rabid wolves he didn't change. I'm not going to tell the government officials that though as far as I know there is no cure and also as far as they know there is no way to fix or dilate down the rabidness. Once they manage to get the others put down I will run tests and show all negative results nothing positive will result in it. I could care less if I survive as long as I get Delta to the surface and free! The humans have brought this upon themselves.

Zerak nodded, "Okay...so you two are just trying to survive...your not with the undergrounders so I would have to doubt you'd know if there was a cure..." He glanced over to Alphina then back to the human they were closest to. "May we ask why you humans would drag this upon the world?" He wondered if either of them knew the answer or what the thought was behind it.

Yukoni watched the man they had been talking to point his gun at the other human, "So not friends I take it..." As the man who shot at her let his gun down she left her ice fade away and glanced over to were Alphina was. "Sorry if my ice hurt you...if you can you should find a way to control that....so when we, or if we go to fight nature doesn't hurt you and end up getting you killed. I wouldn't mind helping you practice." She didn't care for the wolves but they were supposed to be comrades in this. She glanced up in the trees, "Keela it's okay now.." Keela's head became visible as she stuck it out from a tree about a yard away from them. "A-are you sure...." She whined her ears pressed against her head. Yukoni shook her head, "Were you planning on running away young one?" Keela dropped from the tree and slowly padded over to Yukoni, her tail between her legs and ears still down. "I'm sorry..." Keela whimpered. Yukoni licked the top of her head, "It's fine that's why you plan to be a hunter and not a fighter. Also that was a lot of gun fire I'm surprised all the packs and pride members aren't already gathered."

The pain finally started to fade and she sighed, "okay...back to the mission at hand..." She looked around for a pot the suited the beautiful plant and found a black one with light green lines through it here and there. "Perfect!!!" She grabbed the enriched soil and put some in the bottom of the pot before placing the plant into it. And covering the roots up the rest of the way. She turned with a smile. "There you go!!!"

Marco let his revolver holster itself before crossing his arms. "I'm not trying to survive. I can do that just fine. I am searching for a pair of twins. I don't know what everyone elses plan is for a cure, nor do I care why the human governments decided to do what they did, but my plans involve getting my own cure from those two and leaving everyone else to their own devices." He unfolded his arms, tipping his hand to the females present before turning and making his way in a different direction. "Take care kid." He gave Keela's head a rub as he walked by.​

"They got everything under control and now they are getting everything under a harsh lock down. Delta and I are still unaffected by the rabidness somehow. I still say it is something in Delta's blood but I haven't figured it out yet."

She shook her head, "I'll be fine..." She didn't like showing weakness. She knew she didn't like fighting and if they saw weakness they would want her to learn to fight even more. He didn't know where he was going but he needed something to eat now. All the excitement and sudden use of his power drained him greatly. He walked for only a minute before climbing up a tree and resting on a branch, keeping an eye out for anything he could eat. "I never did ask whose territory this was..." He suddenly realized.​

She called after the man jumping into a tree and then jumping from one to the next till she had caught up to him. "Hey!" She jumped down next to Marco.​

Bernard walked through the woods after he had just teleport, his weapon still on safety, he walked through the woods. he had no idea where he was, he just teleported, he saw something out of the corner of his eye, he turned, and aimed down his scope, it was about 500 meters away and out of his fireing line. It was the same man, and the cub from earlier, he sat down and leaned up against a tree, still looking through the scope watching them.​

She nodded before running off, she didn't get the scent of anything till she came across the scent of a deer. She groaned, "That'll be to big for me to take down by myself..." She paused for a second, "Well if I do take it down the pride would find it to be awesome and he could take as much as he needed..."​

Ruth glanced down at her blades as she slowly sharpened and cleaned the blood from them. She was on the outskirts of a town, the smell of decaying flesh was strong. "I'm so glad my brother got to the shelter so he didn't have to deal with this." She looked up as she heard the growling sound, how had she missed another one. The rabid human came at her and she quickly grabbed her shotgun and fired once. The sound could be heard form a mile away, she didn't care. The human fell to the ground making weird gurgling noises. She sat the gun down and began cleaning her daggers again.

He walked out of his room and glanced over hearing David ask to go outside. "Hey can I join you I want to see if I can find my sister..."

~ Kaylos - Alpha - Mate: Open ~
He had decided to go check out the hunting grounds. The scent of humans filled his nose along with wolves. A growl rumbled up his throat then he noticed the scent of Keela heading off in the direction of a human. He turned sharply and began to track her, she may be a year old but interaction between humans was forbidden in his eyes unless finding answers. He knew that no cub would be finding answers from a human, flames licked along his main.​

Marco hopped down from the tree, falling a rather long fall before landing unharmed and standing straight. He looked over at an old looking branch from a tree and had it break off. He made it tear into thousands of little pieces similar to shavings before putting them into a neat pile. He grabbed two nice looking sticks and a flat piece of bark, setting everything up so he could make a fire. "Lets try not to break a tree this time..." He recalled one time he accidentally ripped a tree out of the ground while trying to make a fire. Without much effort or error he got a small fire started and added twigs to keep it alive. He waited patiently for Keela to return with something for him to cook.

~ Sam - Human - Mate: None ~

Sam sat alone in his room with a piece of iron in his hand. He stared at it as he made it crumble into rust then revert back into a strong piece of metal. He continued the cycle without much thought. He had been at it for hours or even days for all her knew. He hadn't eaten or slept or even blinked since he came down here. He just sat on his bed and watched the small piece of iron age back and forth.​

Log 10: March 10, 2020, past

"Delta is starting to agree with me...we tested some of his blood on a rabid tiger and it is now going back to it's normal self. We kept the tiger secret from the government so they didn't know about the cure. For now things are going as they seem to want with the animals not the humans though....they have told me if I can't find a cure that's just a sacrifice that will have to happen."

Keela nodded, her tail swaying slowly behind her. "Alright...I can do this!!!" She tracked the deer down, it looked like an older one. Crouching she stalked her prey climbing into a tree silently she stood above it and dropped down on the doe's back sinking her fangs into it's neck. The doe bucked making a weird screech noise before it tripped over a large tree root falling with her on it's neck. There was a clear snapping sound and the movement stopped the doe slowly stopped breathing as the life seeped from it's body. Keela watched her first large kill become still and lifeless, pride and joy filled her. She grabbed it and slowly began making her way back towards the man, who's name she would know now. Then the smell of burnt things filled her nose.

~ Kaylos - Alpha - Mate: Open ~
Kaylos stood in front of Keela, "And where do you think your going with that?!?" He growled at her, flames danced around him as his anger took hold. "You were going to a human weren't you!!!!" He roared the question at her and flames exploded around him. He didn't need her to answer the scent of the man was all over her head. He grabbed her by the scruff of her neck and she dropped the doe with a yelping whine. "Al-alpha I..." She didn't get the words out as he tossed her. "I TOLD YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM HUMANS THEY ARE THE CAUSE OF THIS YET YOU HELP THE ENEMY!!!" Keela slammed into a nearby by tree feeling a cracking sensation. A weezing whine came from her as she curled into a ball her alpha standing over her. "I should ban you from the Pride!" Keela shook as he roared at her, what had she done wrong weren't they supposed to find the humans to try and find a cure. Her ears laid back and her tail curled under her, Kaylos's flames slightly burning her fur. She turned invisible but was unable to move.

Yukoni got a bad feeling and turned, "Do you smell a faint burning smell and did you two hear that roaring???" She asked turning to Zerak and Alphina.

He paused in walking and turned towards the faint smell. "Isn't that the direction Keela took off in?" He wasn't sure but he had thought it was, he glanced at Alphina to see if she felt anything.

Keela looked up as Phobos stepped in between her and Kaylos. She reappeared and tried crawling off to the side. Every move hurt and she winced. Her thoughts turned to Marco who was waiting on her to bring food. She crawled towards the deer and grabbed it trying to pull it to where he was. She only got a few steps before she had to set it down, breathing hard.

Yukoni turned running towards the two alphas, "I have to stop them before they burn this forest down!!!" She ran also worried about Keela. She knew about the Jewel Eyed Pride leader's temper but none were wanting to stand against him.

Zerak glanced at Alphina, " Think we should wait here or go help, it is a pride argument but we can't let them burn this forest down either..."

He walked over to David and Galahad, "Like I said I can go with him if you wish to stay here...I'd like to see if I can find my sister."

She finished cleaning up her blades and sighed glancing at the ten human bodies and one wolf body. "I should burn them and send them on their way..." She got up and began to drag the dead bodies into a pile. She thought back to when she had ran into government officials. She had demanded to know why this happened and why only the humans, wolves, or large cats were effected. They denied knowing anything and shoved her out of the way, shortly after they were all attacked and killed that's when her power seemingly came of of nowhere and it was like she couldn't miss a target. She found sticks and started up a fire with some old gas she had found. "May you all find peace..."

Marco heard a loud roar and stood up. He put on his hat and ran to where the noise was coming from. When he saw all the animals that were there already he kept himself out of sight. He climbed a tree to sneak around, circling the long way quickly through the trees before landing between Keela and the others. A telekinetic barrier pushed back any flames straying near Keela and kept himself and her safe from the alpha's flames. Without revealing his face or eyes he spoke calmly, "Who is responsible for ruining my dinner and hurting my cub...?" He asked. The leg muscle of the deer tore out of the animal and hovered over the flames that were around, rotating slowly to cook. He was still hungry and might as well make himself something to eat while he could.

Log 11: March 24, 2020, past

"I've kept the cure a secret, I keep telling myself that it is the right thing to do. But I fell like I'm letting the human and animal race down. Delta tells me to keep my chin up and not break. The tiger has made a full recovery now, I set it free and it turned and thanked me. So it seems even once cured they keep the power. I've started to notice a strange feeling coming over me but I'm not really sure what it is yet. As for now they still want me to work on trying to find a cure for the humans but they are getting impatient.

~ Keela - Hunter soon - Crush on Marco ~
Keela turned when she smelled him, "I..." She sucked in a sharp breath, "I got you food..." She gave him a catish grin before passing out from the pain of her broken rib and having been burnt slightly by Kaylos's flames.

~ Kaylos - Alpha - Mate: Open ~
Kaylos turned his eyes glaring at the man and then turned to Keela. "Treacherous cub..." He snarled stepping closer to Phobos.

~Yukoni - Fighter - Mate: Open ~
Yukoni sprang out from bushes and froze her eyes falling to Keela and then to Kaylos. She knew her alpha had nothing to do with Keela being hurt. "You....you... bastard!!!" She growled at Kaylos, ice and snow whirling around her and went straight through the flames of both alphas. The whirlwind of snow and ice slammed into Kaylos and all the flames around him went cold and he hit the ground unconscious. Yukoni stood tall huffing as she had just used all of her power in that one blast. She glanced over wanting to walk to Keela but after she'd fall over if she took a step. She saw the cub to be like her own, flashes of her past went through her mind and she forced herself to not cry reliving the moment she saw her cubs murdered by her pervious mate.

He chuckled, "As long as you don't mind looking for my sister with me. At least for a couple of hours...if she survived.." He ran a hand through his hair and sighed. Lulu came up next to him and gave him a hug. "I'm sure your sister is very much alive!" She said smiling at him, she had gotten to know both Xander and Ruth in the short time they had been together and then when the two had gotten separated she felt bad for Xander. Xander ruffled Lu's hair, "Yeah I'm sure you're right."

Phobos stood there unable to move. He was in shock from the human arriving and Yukoni using all her power against the other Alpha. "How reckless," is all he could say for Yukoni's actions. He took a few steps towards Kaylos before spreading his massive wings and picking the other up like it was nothing, "I'll bring him back to the pride, make sure to get the wolves, I'm sure they'll help."

"I think we should at least check to see if everyone is okay, knowing Kaylos, someone is bound to get hurt" she stated, walking towards where Yukoni ran off to.

He walked over to Xander, placed a hand on his shoulder, "I'm sure she's okay, she was one of humanity's best." He wasn't sure what he could say about his sister, Galahad didn't really know her. "I don't want you using your power unless absolutely necessary, and if you both aren't back in twelve hours..." he looked both of them in the eye "I, personally, will go out and find you, do I make myself clear?"​
