The Primordial Aura
Character GuidelinesDeadline: August 4th is the earliest. August 9th is the latest. Early Accepted Character Sheets will be announced on the 6th. Late Accepted Character Sheets will be announced on the 11th. The Role-Play will begin on the 6th; after the Accepted Character Sheets have been announced at 02:30 PM EST.
In regards to accepting and rejecting character sheets.
1. I, the Game Master, have the right to reject character sheets that contradict the lore of the setting. This role-play will be starting off in a country that does not harbor anything mythical and magical. Any character sheets with information that does not belong, or apply, to the role-play will be rejected.
2. The character has a role that does not belong in the role-play, nor has it been discussed with the Game Master, k a l l i s t o , regarding if it is playable or not.
3. The character has a background that prevents them from interacting with other users. The reason why is because no matter the situation, this role-play imitates a time-period where everyone had to have some form of interaction, or communication, among others in spite of the fact that they did not want to.
4. You apply for a character with the desire to be the main antagonist, or protagonist. The main protagonists have already been decided as well as the antagonist. If you desire to participate in the main antagonists evil plots then it would behoove you to discuss this idea with either the GM, or the Co-GMs: Caragia , BearBearBear , AlwaysSassy23 , and Han JiHyo . There is one more GM, however they are currently on a Hiatus and should be returning once their laptop is fixed.
5. I have the right to reject you if your written talent that does not live up to my expectations for the Role-Play.

All Character Face-Claims are preferred to be Realistic Images, for it is the primary aesthetic of the role-play. You may use desired digital art images if you don't know what to settle with; anime images are not allowed.
Now, a Coded Character Sheet has already been made, but if you wish to make your own you may. Non-Coded character sheets are not to be posted beneath this post. If they are they will be removed. In order to distinguish the difference between accepted and unaccepted character sheets, you should be seeing 'Kallisto, Caragia, BearBearBear, and 1 more have liked this post.' Or 'Accepted,' in green, at the top of your post; should you be rejected you will see 'Rejected,' in red, at the top of your post.
Please know that none of the character roles are first come, first serve.
Prior to submitting the Character Sheet, please submit a response to these writing prompts:
1. Your Master/Mistress wants you to run in an errand for them in the city.
2. Your Queen has been abducted.
3. Your mother was assassinated.
4. You're grieving a death. . .
5. Assassins were sent to kill you.
6. If you do not save the prince before midnight, you will be sent to jail.
Write to the best of your ability; quality over quantity; for your style will help determine whether or not your character will be accepted! In regards to submission, your writing prompt must be submitted in the Writing Prompt Thread with a link to your character sheet(s) posted in the Character Sheet Thread. If you do not want to respond to the vague prompts above then you may submit a link to a RP-Post that displays your skills as well as a Character Sheet Link. You don't have to apply for more than one character, but it is recommended, for there is no guarantee that the character that you want is canon until after the deadline has been met.

Character Sheet
Name: If you are applying for a family of noble status (Ladies of the Empire, Men of the Empire, and Sons of the Imperial Concubine,) your names must be Japanese. If you chose anything else but the roles listed before then your choices stem from Chinese and Korean. Japanese is debatable if your character comes from a small, yet
Nickname: Nickname and how they got that nickname goes here.
Age: If your character's a female then the ages available to you are fourteen+ verses male being seventeen+ . If you're role-playing a female character that is over the age of seventeen then she must be married, or she must be dealing with the pressure of marriage. If your character is a male and he is in his early twenties, he must be dealing with the pressure of marriage by his parents. If you wish to avoid this then you should probably leave your character as an adolescent. (Lol)
Gender: Self explanatory.
Character: The Role you chose, please include the gender; the Family it belongs to. 'Family' applies to those who are interested in the aristocratic roles.
Username: Put your username here so I can come back to the information in the sheet and tag you later regarding whether or not you've been accepted.
Date: Just include the day you turned this in. It helps me stay organized and in no-way does this negatively affect you being accepted in the role-play later on.
Height, Weight: Kilograms, Centimeters or Pounds, Inches
Body Type: This mainly applies to men, but women may go in depth about their characters body type if they want to.
Beauty Marks: Beauty Marks applies to the natural beauty marks found on woman, and the scars that either or may have on their body. If the character has a scar then you need to go in depth about how they've gotten that scar.
Aesthetic: What do they look like? Don't supply to me a picture of what they look like. Instead I want you to tell me how your character looks. Yōnokuni's culture is inspired by the Tang Dynasty; both the fashion, the hairstyles, and the make-up.
Weapons/Equipment: This applies to all secondary characters.

[div=background: #DCDCDC; width:290px; height:190px; margin:moderate; text-align:justify; overflow:auto; padding:10px;]This majorly applies to secondary characters (i.e. Militia, Physicians, Hunter (-ress), Maids, and Concubines). This isn't mandatory, but it's recommended that you have some sort of history regarding how your character got to where they are now. This does not need in-depth information about their past. Simply the events that got them where they are now. (i.e. At the wary age of five she was inspired by XX. She later became an apprentice at the age of nine and trained to become XXXX. It's very brief.) [/div]

[div=background: #DCDCDC; width:290px; height:190px; margin:moderate; text-align:justify; overflow:auto; padding:10px;]This also majorly applies to secondary characters (i.e. Militia, Physicians, Hunter (-ress), Maids, and Concubines). This is mandatory because this entails where you are from, what you were like before you became who you are now. A biography isn't really necessary if your character is an aristocrat. Your desired character was born with a silver spoon in their mouth. Now if your character's role is anything but an aristocrat then you definitely have the ability to create a background, or history, that compliments the Characters Personality.[/div]

This tab was made just so we can understand how you'd behave around certain characters. What are they to you? Your best friend?
Any childhood memories? After you've been accepted you're more than welcome to fill this in with stuff like that, but if you deem it unnecessary you can also name this the 'extra' tab; insert information like 'likes,
dislikes, etc.'[/div]
