Chapter One: Lighthouse Terror

Team 56: Kat and Sage

Sage rolled in bed just lightly and snuggled closer to whichever of the two boys was sleeping next to her. There was a brown haired boy with a childish and hyper personality named Kat. The other boy was a blue haired boy who looked more like a girl then she did. Which she didn't look like a girl at all. Sage was taller then the average girl, she came up to the height of 5'9. However, despite her feminine sex, she acted more like a man. She had a short cut mop of blue hair and no breasts to speak of. Well there were some, but they were easily described as mosquito bites. She blinded her chest to keep them from growing and ruining her male look.

Most would be asking why she had two boys in her bed... That was an easy question. Amitys had three rooms in their apartment. Two bedrooms, each with personal bathrooms and closets. Outside of those bedrooms were a combined entertainment room and kitchen with access to a balcony. Kat was her partner, Kai was the extra. Don't get anything wrong, Kai had a place of his own. A rather huge appartment room all to himself.. his job provided the home for him. However he didn't like being alone... so Sage and Kat took their beds and put them together, making a large single bed in one room. They turned Kat's room into Kai's office. Kai's clothing was in his office since there wasn't enough room in Sage's closet for everyones clothing... and if an emergency came up, Sage and Kat needed to get dress quickly.

There was a knock rather early morning at the door... Most likely a message or a mission.

Sage didn't exactly like mornings. Her boyfriend Kat enjoyed them far more than she did. However she couldn't say she was a complete grouch. Nope... Kat and Sage's secret boyfriend Kai would put and grouch to shame. If he was so much as disturbed early morning, his looks could kill a level S demon. Seriously, it would drop dead. Needless to say the morning was the best time to mess with Kai and get away with it. Too sluggish to fight back, sometimes too dead to even yell... and after everything is all said and done, you give him some coffee and he forgives you. Or wakes up more and gets you back when you least expect it.

Sitting up, Sage rubbed her eyes and glances at the two boy on the bed. Mostly to see if her partner Kat was going to go get the paper... or if she would have to go do it.

The blue net castanova Kai was asleep in a bed with two other people. Despite the fact he was the most feminine by far, he was the oldest and the one with the most swing in both the relationship and their home life. He had been up late doing last minute paperwork, stacks of it pushed till the very last possible second. As bad as he was with keeping up with papers he still managed to know everything that was going on even stuff he shouldn't. He and Kat were both known to pick up little bits of juicy talk and piece together facts.

The brunette boy in the bed was already waking up though he was still cuddling the female bluenett. Kat was a bundle of hyper put in a cute package. He and Kai had been together since they were little and they met Sage together when her mother used to watch them Kat was easily tricked so Sage and Kai both played pranks on the good natured kid. Though he never got angry in fact seeing him not grinning was a sure sign the world was ending. The knock on the door had Kat exitedly hopping up and slipping on some slippers so his toes wouldn't get cold skipping shirtless to the door he answered it with a smile and a friendly "Good morning!"

"Oh god shut him up," Kai grumbled hearing him in the bed room. The grouch rolled over onto his back his arm over his eyes "It's not time to be woke is it?" the growl in Kai's voice was an instant hint he needed caffeen now or he would be a real pain in the neck all day long.

When Kat opened the door, a young man named Terrence was standing there. He was one of the young boys in training to be an Amity. He wasn't old enough to take the test himself. He was a really good kid and had a lot of loyalty. He was a part timer for working portals in Central Hall or handing out the summons to different Amity. Everyone worked those part time jobs at one point in their young lives.

"Good Morning Mr. Kat." Terrence said with a smile. He then handed out a blue envelope. The blue ment that they had 24 hours to prepare before they need to go out to complete the mission. Viruses the Red envelope that mean they needed to get dressed and leave as quick as possible. Some times today Sage and Kat needed to go to the Main Base and talk with the superior who is in charge of their mission.

Sage let out a soft groan as Kai rolled over and was already complaining. Sage soon leaned over Kai, hovering over the older boy before whispering to him, "Go bad to sleep.." She told the messy haired bluenet. "If its an emergency, I'll start your coffee before we leave... if not... lets sleep a bit more before we all go to the main base later..." Sage reassured him. She didn't really want to get up either. In Fact as if to make her words more offcial, she practically collapsing on top of Kai's chest, laying on him and snuggling her face into his neck, her hand curling into his chest.

"Hey Terrence," Kat gave the boy a pat on the head "Thank you for your hard work! Keep it up and I wanna see you with us in a few years!" Kat said using his army sergeant play voice puffing up his chest and grinning big. He really did like Terrence and alot of the trainee's he was one of the people who would come out and play with them if he had the time. Kat knew Terrence had more things to deliver so he said bye after his little playful morning scit. Going back in he opened the envelope humming cheerfully but quietly as he didn't want a fire breathing boss this early in the day.

Kai huffed when Sage literally plopped on top of him. The grumpy boy put his other arm around her unlike Kat Kai slept fully clothed he felt uncomfortable out of them, it might have something to do with how touchy feely his lovers could be at night. With Sage's familiar weight on his chest he closed his eyes and began to drift back to sleep since Kat didn't rush to Sage they hadn't been summoned immediately.

Kat peeked in and smiled seeing the two who were so often mistaken as brothers cuddled in bed. Kat shut the door to give them some privacy and he decided to spend his morning cleaning up so Kai could mess it up again. Moving Magazines back onto the tables and papers that were balled up and scattered in the floor thrown away all the while humming. Kat was amazed how Kai's office disaster always made it to every corner of the house even though the door stayed closed. When Kat was done cleaning it was about time to start breakfast, Kat wouldn't dare try though, Sage would chase him out of her kitchen with the broom.

Terrance happily said goodbye to Kat and a quick good luck before they parted ways. Kat was right in the face he did need to finish delivering the summons to the other amity around the apartment complex.

Sage's sleeping garments 100% relied on what happened the night before. If Kat and her had sex, Kai included or not, she was most likely to be completely naked. If she just got into bed after coming home completely exhausted, she would most likely just pull off her pants and sleep in her long sleeve shirt and underpants. If she actually took her time to get ready for bed, Sage would wear a rather nice silk pajama set that Kai had made for her one year. She actually really liked that silk set, as it felt absolutely heavenly on her skin.

After a few more hours of sleeping and the realization that Kat never came back to bed, Sage made the mental decision to pull her butt out of bed. Of course she was wearing her nice pajama set. It had been a couple of days since Kat and Sage had been on their last mission. Since there was a resting rule. Any amity who just came home had to take at least one day off. That was no Amity goes in exhausted from too many missions. The only time a 'double' could ever be pulled is if an emergency came up.

With a deep breath, Sage pried herself out of Kai's sleeping grasps and rolled out of bed, "Breakfast in 10 minutes." She told Kai as her feet meet with the cold floor. She let out a surprised sigh before turning in the bed again, the cold reminded her to give Kai a kiss. She twisted around just enough to give Kai a kiss on the cheek before jumping from the bed and walking to their bedroom door. She swung it open before walking through and turning to close it behind her softly.

When she walked out into the room, she noticed it was rather bright, the balconing blinds pulled back to let the sunlight spill into the room. Smore's was begging Kat for food and love. Smore was a rather beautiful calico cat tom. The cat's tail was missing and was nothing more than a scrawny scrapper when Kat and Sage found him in the park one day. They gladly took him in to fatten him up. Sage named him Smores because she thought his White, brown and orange spots looked like graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallows.

"Good morning Kat." Sage said as she walked into the room. She immediately turned the corner into the kitchen before flipping on the coffee maker. "Omeletes or Waffles?" Sage asked him as she turned on the hot waters as well. There was a cafeteria down on the second floor of the apartment complex.. but Sage absolutely refused to eat down there unless they really hard to.

The Blue folder had contained their mission. There was a demon infestation of Ravener , or centipede like demons. Low intelligence and not the strongest demon in the world. Adults came up to about a foot or two over adult human males and young as small as a dog. It was in a light house some place really cold. Which meant they were going to be by the ocean. There was a man named Mr. Pate who was complaining of beasts in his lighthouse. A scouting team went to go investigate before actually setting the location for Amity to go exterminate. The number was unknown but was an estimate of 20-40 of them.

Kai groaned when Sage got off him she was warm and the air was a slight bit nippy. Kai heard her talk though he really didn't understand a word of it. He felt her good morning kiss that ment it was time to get up. After she left the room he sat up and rubbed his head he was a mess in the morning and Sage and Kat were the only two people to see this side of him. How lucky they were.

Kat smiled seeing Sage wake up at last "Morning! Omelette! can I have ham and cheese?" He asked her with a smile he opened a leftover dinner container and was feeding the spoild cat from it. Rice and steack with gravy, thats what most cat foods were supposed to be anyway right? Kat pet the tom and grinned "easy mission today just time consuming," he told her Kat was the type that loved to be challenged the low intelligence demon massacre was not his idea of a fun exersize. "Kai's office threw up into the living room again but I got it picked up," Kat told Sage just to make the silence stop it was quiet enough before she woke up.

The coffee pot was filling up and would be full by the time Kai actually got out the door to the bedroom. KAi slid on slippers and fell back into bed "Five minutes more," he grumbled.

"Sure Kat. I'm putting some veggies in it to..." Sage said as she started to pull things from the fridge. She watched him scoop steak and rice into his bowl before she let a hopeless sigh. Leaning down, Sage pulled out a cutting board and put it down on the counter before looking for a knife. She listened to Kat tell her about his morning endeavours about Kai's mess. The boy must had felt cramped in his office and moved out to the living room. "Thanks for that." Sage said to Kat as she pulled out a pan. Putting it down on the burner, she started to let it heat up before returning to the cutting board to cut up some ham and veggies.

She sighed again as she hear Smore's demolish his food in his bowl. "You know... we'll have to put that cat on a diet soon if we keep letting him eat like we do..." Sage pointed out. As much as she liked spoiling Smores like Kat... they really did need to watch out for their pet's health. A fat cat could lead to an early death. Neither one of them really wanted that... Sage purposely didn't ask anything more about the mission... as she would read the material herself after she finished making breakfast.

"Coco or Tea this morning?" Sage asked Kat when the hot water came to a boil and their kettle made a very loud whistling sound.

She wasn't positive, but she was pretty sure she heard a 'thump' from their bedroom. Which meant Kai attempted, but failed, to get up from the bed. She laughed lightly at the mental image, Kai was the cutest when he wasn't functioning. With that thought, Sage poured the first cup of coffee and served it on Kai's spot on the table. Kai was king... and always got served first. What a spoiled brat. "Do you know when he came to bed last night?" Sage asked Kat.

Kat made a face when Sage said she was adding veggies too. Sometimes Kat was worse then any child but of course he would happily eat whatever Sage cooked she was amazing. "Smores isn't fat, he's happy and me and him are gonna do exercises," Kat said and by that he meant he was going to run around with a laser pointer and have poor smores chase him about the apartment. Kat picked up smores when he was done and rubbed his tummy "Besides it's all fluff ain't it?" Kat cooed to the cat. When sage asked him tea or cocoa kat laughed "Cocoa!" he cheered. "KAi didn't come in till waaaay after I did," he told sage putting Smores down and sitting in his spot.

The bluenett waddled half asleep out of the bedroom tripping on his own feet and almost hitting the ground in his oh so gracefull morning prance. "Morning!" Kat greeted and got a grumble in reply Kai sat down and sipped his coffee he wouldn't say much til the cup was gone and the second one poured. Kai reached for the mission letter and read it as if it was the morning paper. His hair was a mess its style lightly longer then sages left more room for tangles and odd cowlicks.

When Kat made a face about veggies, she was about to chastise Kat about getting a balanced diet. But before she could, he was already defending Smore's weight. Sage watched Kat as he picked up smores to show the cat off to her. She couldn't help but laugh because more's belted out a loud meow when Kat started to rub him down. Really the cat was so ready to fight all the time... till they feed him. Ever since then he turned into a lazy docile house cat. After Kat claimed the two of them would exercise, she layed off the subject of keeping their 'happy' cat healthy.

"If you have any preferences for an omelette Kai, now is the time to speak up." She told him while breaking three eggs into the pan. It sizzled and the smell of eggs was almost instantly filling the room. Sage reached for spices, pulling them out of the cupboard above her. "Kat can you pull out our cups?" Sage asked Kat as she reached for the cutting board full of the goods soon the fill the eggs. Eggs cooked fast, so she hadn't had the time to serve her tea or his cocoa.

Kai just waved his hand anything was good. Before Sage Kai didn't eat breakfast even now she occasionally had to force him he would live off coffee if Sage wasn't there to yell at him. Putting down the mission he went into a state of thought checklisting things in his head but ultimately giving up and face planting the table he was just not ready to get up yet.

KAt hopped up to help Sage "Oh it smells soooo good already," Kat said cheerfully dancing around Sage to grab the glasses Sage might be tall for a girl but both boys were over six foot even if by just an inch. He put her tea bag in her cup and poured water over it "I can make drinks chief," Kat said smiling still he then made his cocoa after watching sage everyday he had the drinks down pat. setting them on the table he got the coffee pot to refresh the drained cup in front of the overworked king of the house.

"How... in the name of hell and heaven do you have... so much energy?" Kai asked Kat almost cursing the peppy boy.

Kat let out a chuckle "Cause I let mr sandman meet me every night instead of drinking coffee well into the late hours of the day to keep myself awake," he had to dodge a flying slipper with a laugh. He put the pot back amazingly he didn't spill any and he brought Kai back his slipper "You know it's true," Kat told him.

Kat dance around Sage as he pulled cups from the bored, adding tea and cocoa into their perspective cups. It was one less thing she had to do... so she didn't mind kat making the drinks. It was not like they took any kind of extra know how to make better. Kat was capable of doing everything in the kitchen Sage did. Hell Kat wasn't that bad of a cook either. In fact one time she was really sick and so Kat had to take over cooking for a couple of days. However cooking was Sage's stress relief and something she enjoyed almost as much as sex. Almost.

Her happy train of thought was broken when disaster struck her kitchen.

"Don't throw your shoes into the kitchen!" Sage immediately yelled at Kai when a sloppily aimed slipped made its way past Kat and onto her counter. You don't mess with Sage's kitchen. "I'm cooking! What is it made it into the food?" She asked him with a huff. Kat removed the slipper and started to bring it back to Kai before Sage could get a hold of the offending accessory. She let out a soft growl before putting and omelette on a plate the started a second one.

Kat chuckled Sage was so territorial of her kitchen and protective of their food. Kat was of course grateful for it. Kat was an orphan before Kai and he knew what an empty belly felt like it wasn't nice. "Be softer on Kai Sage he's all sleepy," Kat told her trying to stop the two from going at it. Of course he was destined to fail. Kai was already in a bad mood.

"I wouldn't have hit the food," Kai growled "I was aiming for Kat's big head," he ran his hand through his hair. The yelling was too loud he was developing a headache. Though since Kat refilled his coffee he decided to take a drink of it. It was hot and wonderful. Kat giggled and sat down. "Whats so funny?" Kai asked the boy glaring daggers at him.

"You and Sage! you guys bicker like a married couple with me as the kid!" Kat said happily.

"If we treat you like I childe... its because you are a child you hyper mess," Kai said not really able to argue he and Sage would bicker or yell or cross heairs then be fine an hour or so later in most occasions. "I won;'t throw my shoes... in the kitchen," Kai said adding the last part because throwing his slippers was a normal morning act against either Kat or the poor sod at the door.

Sage bristled up when Kai growled at her, she was going to argue back, but it really was too early in the morning to get into it. She still wished he hadn't thrown it in the first place. She knew Kat's hyperactivity could get on anyones nerves as much as cheer you up. She loved Kat and Kai with the ferocity of any lover, Kai's cranky temper included.

Kai and her both fight with their hearts, that was why most argument they got into could occasionally come to death threats. Sage couldn't think of any time Kai and her actually hurt each other. There were a few times where Sage or Kai had grabbed each other's shirts or shoved... but as far as she knew, they never actually came down to blows. Sage had a feeling it had something to do with the fact she was a girl. But even if they did fight... they usually made up in minutes to hours after they got their points across. Kat however never got into fights. It was mesh between not caring and not standing up against Sage and Kai. However, as soft spoken in fights Kat was, he did manage to get his point across somehow.

She let a very big exasperated sigh as she pulled a second omelet out of the pan and put it on the plate. She started the third one before grabbing the two done and walking them over to the table. As she did so, she heard Kai apologize. He didn't exactly say he was sorry, but he was telling her so in his own way. "Good... The veggies are a bit thin because Kat doesn't like them... but needs them anyway." She told him before smiling at Kat. She reached to ruffle his hair playfully before going to finish cooking her omelette. They would either eat then, or wait for her to sit down. Really it depend on the day or what they were doing.

Kat smiled when Kai and Sage seemed to stop the fight this time it barely even started.KAt then giggled when Sage mentioned the thin veggies sometimes he knew Sage spoiled him when she ruffled his hair he just laughed "Thank you Sage!" he said he would wait on her before starting to eat he did sip on his cocoa. Out of this group Kat was the one that held on to the most to his childish self he refused to grow up.

KAi smiled lightly he was waking up loosing the grumpy edge. "Thank you Sage," he said when she served the food "MAke sure you both have a good lunch too... you'll need the energy."

"Oh does that mean we can have sweets for lunch?" Kat asked hopfull.

"That is not a lunch Kat," Kai sighed and the boy was only smiling chances were he'd get half his way and sage would make dessert. "Sage talk sence into him," Kai waved his hand in a motion meaning he was not going to try anymore.

"I'll cook something calorie heavy for lunch. Some kind of pasta." Sage told Kai with thought. Though he was completely right, she would make something sweet to go with it. Maybe a chocolate layered cake. Small portions though because if she made a large one, Kat would eat it when she wasn't looking and fill up on it. She was already thinking of the sweets that she could cook for Kat.

She chuckled to herself before flipping the last omelette onto the plate. Quickly she turned the heat off and took the pan to the sink. She filled it up with water to make sure the cleaning later would be easier. Dried cheese was a pain to get off, but eggs were relatively easy to clean. After she was finished she grabbed her plate and fork before walking around the table and sat down across from Kat and next to Kai.

When she sat down, Sage leaned forward to take the blue folder from in front of Kai. With her other hand she picked up her fork and started to cut herself off a piece to take a bite as she read. "Aren't Ravener poisonous?" Sage asked a bit mindlessly as she finished her first bite.

"Yeah," Kai said "Its why its such a problem, but you and Kat will be fine," Kai said beginning to eat as well. KAi had so much faith in Kat and Sage it was almost criminal. He would never once entertained the thought of failing. He knew off the bat KAt would be a fighter even as kids Kat had a strong sence of loyalty and a drive to improve. Childish he was always looked down on, till Kai took up for him and proved to everyone his strength.

"Oh I love pasta!" Kat said happily he was not hard to please when it came to food but he loved the fun noodles with pastas. He was now eating too "Wow it tastes good!" he praised sage with a smile. Even with the veggies Sage cooked good foods. Kat smiled looking at Smores "he's begging Sage," Kat smiled he'd feed Smores right off his plate if he didn't think Sage would yell at him. "We should get him a can of tuna... it's good for cats,"

"We should bring some anti-venom with us..." Sage said slowly. She didn't really look at Smore's or Kat when he said the cat was begging. She just yawned and kept reading. "Smore's had breakfast... a big one if I recall... now eat yours." Sage said. They needed the energy as Kai pointed out earlier. Fighting used a lot of energy and required to make sure they ate a lot and healthily. Setting down her fork, Sage picked up her tea before taking a long sip of it.

She then made a face, "It's at a light house...." She said softly. Light house meant ocean. Ocean meant endless span of water with violent waves known to take down even the strongest of swimmers. Not they were going IN the ocean.. just the large building on a cliff next to the ocean. She could deal with that... but the sound of waves crashing on the side of the rock, calming to many, was extremely unnerving to Sage. Sage was Aquaphobic... Kai and Kat didn't know up till Sage almost drowned on a mission. Needless to say they were peeved. Emma of course knew and told them to give her slack.

Kai looked at Sage "You will be fine Kat is with you," He told her the odd act of affection Kai reached to her and took her hand. "The light house is sturdy and you won't need to go into the water for anything," He assured her he wouldn;'t keep her from missions around water because he knew it wouldn;'t help her out for him to start sheltering her. Even if he did when she found out she'd be very angry at him he knew it.

"I never been in a light house before is it like a normal house?" KAt asked looking at the two.

"No KAt it's a tower with a light on the top that warns ships that theres a cliff there at night, or during storms," he told Kat. "Its old and I beleive they want to fix it up and reactivate it but can't with the pest problem. Thats you two's job,"

"Gotcha boss," Kat laughed saluting Kai. "We;ll have it done in no time flat,"

"We'll leave after lunch." Sage told them. Even though they didn't have to leave till tomorrow morning, the mission itself seemed easy. They just had to go mow down some Ravener. Sage's fingers tightened around Kai's thankfully. She knew he was trying to reassure her, but really at the moment she wasn't really scared. She was just not thrilled.

After breakfast the three of them went through their normal morning routine of getting ready. Kai pretty much had his own bathroom and closet. Sage and Kat shared Sage's closet and bathroom, not that Kai didn't use that too. Sage really loved to dress in a nice pair of black pants and button up white shirts. She liked white the best, but Kai occasionally got her to wear other colors.

When they done, Sage grabbed her P.I. and shoulder bag before helping Kai carry his mess of papers to the Main Base. After they helped Kai to his in work office, Sage and Kat left to go receive their official briefing with commander Maui was one of the 5 commanders just below the council. He mostly gives out missions and is in charge of the Amity. The man seem stressed all the time, but he was always up for a good joke. He was a blond haired beauty almost in his 50s. He retired from the field after he was gravely injured from fighting a rank S demon by himself. Needless to say he earned the rank he had.

Sadly these briefings were never any less or more informative than the summoning they got. The briefing were really only to ask questions, clarifications or complications. If everything was all clear to go, Kat and Sage were given their gate number and their Seers. Seers were retired Amity and their family that lived outside the Veil. They provided safe houses for Amity all over the world.

"Ok!" Kat said happily. He was as always exited. As soon as he was done eating he put the plate in the sink and went off to get ready unlike Sage and Kai he really wasn't too big on how he looked he brushed his hair though the mop always looked like a mess no matter what he did to it. Dressing he wore a comfortable tee and jeans. "You guys alreays dress up why not have a casual day?" Kat asked

"You are casual enough for us both," Kai replied he had set his plate in the sink after eating as well Kai spent a while on his hair alone beofre dressing in the most outrageously high fashioned clothing he had and considering he had no shortage of fine beautiful colorful clothing. The jacket was tailored to form fit and it was a dark navy with silver trimming. The undershirt was silk white with blue marbling and the pants were like the jacket and form fit his long slender legs. On anyone but Kai this outfit would look like a clown but the man somehow pulled it off.

Kat grabbed his bag he kept everything in it putting it on before helpping Sage carry the rather massive load of papers. Kai carried a stack as well his case had some things in it as well but with Kai it was hard to tell what was in it. "Thanks for the help," he told Sage and Kat.

Kat waved and smiled as he and sage went to the briefing he had a smile on as always and he ran up to greet the comander "Kat and Sage are here," he annonced

Commander Maui looked up from his desk when Kat walked in announcing himself. Sage didn't feel the need to echo her name since Kat already did that for her. His office was a bit messy, but really Sage had only seen a few messes that rival Kai's. This mess looked well organized. Purely just messy because there was a lot or papers and folders about. Maui looked tried like normal, but if he looked any other way, Sage may not be able to recognize him.

"Good. Do you guys need anything before you leave?" Maui asked the two of them. He turned in his chair, putting his papers down onto his desk in a neat stack. He took off a pair of thin framed glasses before picking up a bigger version of the PI. He started to type a few things into the machine as Sage reached into her bag for the same thing.

"We need some anti-poison.. just as a precaution." Sage said with a smile, "We don't need the briefing. We are ready and set." Sage told Maui.

Commander Maui nodded before adding a few things into his device before holding it up for Kat and Sat. Sage leaned over and touched her PI to his to share all and any information they needed to get to their destination. The only thing not provided in the Summons.

Sage and Kat had a very good track record. All Amity had 'records' as a team. It was to make sure Amity were not put in situations that could become critical. An example as some Amity hated other species because of past experience. To keep from Bais, those teams usually never got missions involved said species. Destructive teams were never put on jobs that had a high likelihood of local damage. Things like that.

Sage and Kat's records had them down as a well adapt team. Though best suited for undercover work and quite kills.. they occasionally got missions such as this one which required purely just man power.

"Ready Kat?" Sage asked the boy after taking a quick gander at her PI's new information.

Kat looked at Sage he let her do most of the work like this Kat just followed orders and stuff. He noted the mess but really it was not as bad as Kai;s the boys floor was unseeable through the chaos. Kat of course was a person who analyzed everything the orginization said somthing for the commanders personality same as Kai's chaos did for him. "Yeah I am ready!" KAt told sage with a grin "More then ready," he was ready to get out. Of course they wouldn't go yet.

They still had time too even with Sage saying after lunch. KAt adjusted his bag and rocked on his heals Kai made him wear shoes but he desperately wanted to let his feet free. "Sage... on the mission can i not wear shoes?" he asked her not like he was gonna step on a poisonous bug. Even though they were everywhere in this mission.

Sage said a simple goodbye to the commander before leaving the room. She closed the door behind her with a soft click after Kat was out. Kat looked at her before asking a question. She kind of foresaw the question, whoever he could avoid the shoes... he could. "Kat we need to get you some flip flops.." Sage said with a sigh. "Or maybe those barefeet shoes..." Sage said again.

She soon started to walked to the entrance of the Main Base. The both had a few hours before it was even lunch time. Sage thought it was about due time that they actually went grocery shopping anyway. "Come on Kat, we are getting groceries." Sage declared. They would go buy what they needed then go make lunch. Then bring it to the Main Base and eat with Kai.

"And yes... when we get to the lighthouse you can take off your shoes.. but only once we are inside." Sage said leaving the building. She forgot she didn't answer his question. Really he proububly wouldn't pester her and even if she told him no, he'd take them off anyway if he thought he could.

Kat only laughed when Sage said flip flops he often broke those on purpose, but of course nobody knew that they just though he was hard on shoes. Kat walked with Sage they had so much time to kill. The boy began to hop just to make walking more fun. When Sage said his name he snapped out of it. "Yay food shopping," Kat said. It was a rare occation the triad didn't have money so he never wondered about his next meal however if they forgot to go shopping Sage would get grouchy because of lack of cookable food.

"What are we going for? everything or just enough?" KAt asked, he often carried alot of the grocceries because he was a bit more physically strong then Sage. "Wonder if we should get diet cat food," he chuckled Smores would probably not like anything diet. Then again the cat would eat anything. "oh oh oh we should get stuff to make like snack foods!"
