The One From an Alien Planet

[Kiyoko Tomoe]

Ren lightly pets Cortana's head, slowly falling back asleep, Kotori having already fallen back asleep. "Good night." He hugs them both softly, now asleep himself.

Cortana smiled and quickly fell back asleep, adjusting him in her arms.

 

[Kiyoko Tomoe]

Kotori woke up, silently slipping outside. She stared up at the sky, which was still covered in clouds. The sky suddenly turned a bloody red, Kotori immediately knowing what it meant. She closed her eyes, and everything else, was unknown. The sky returned to normal, and Ren woke up soon after, looking back and forth to see there's no Kotori, though he passed it off as her just in the bathroom or something.

Cortana could sense something going on, and her eyes snapped open, glowing in an intense teal as she stared at the wall. She could sense something as her tattoo's pulsed.

 

[Kiyoko Tomoe]

Ren hugged Cortana gently, kissing her on the cheek to try and calm her down and comfort her. "What's wrong...? Did you have a bad dream or something?"

 

[IceQueen]

Cortana was unresponsive, her eyes locked on an non existent object. She narrowed her eyes almost as if she was trying to make something out.

 

[Kiyoko Tomoe]

Ren looks over where she's looking for a moment, confused. He just kept staring as well, trying to figure out whatever it is Cortana could possibly be seeing where just an empty wall's at.

 

[IceQueen]

Cortana eventually snapped out of it, the glow in her eyes gradually residing.

 

[Kiyoko Tomoe]

Ren looks at Cortana. "So, what were you looking at? See anything interesting?"

 

[IceQueen]

Cortana shook her head. She didn't want to concern him with her thoughts.

 

[Kiyoko Tomoe]

Ren hugged her again before standing up. "Well, if you didn't see anything or don't want to tell, then that's fine with me." He walks towards the bathroom, knocking on the door then waiting for a bit to see if Kotori's in there.

 

[IceQueen]

Cortana nodded, rubbing her eye a bit as she looked around. "Sorry." She mumbled.

 

[Kiyoko Tomoe]

He knocked one more time before entering, seeing that Kotori wasn't there. He already knew she wasn't in her room, as her door was opened, and he knew she wasn't in his room as she never entered his room without permission, as the two of them trusted each other enough to even be in the bathtub together and not feel scared that the other may do something dirty. "Hey, have you seen Kotori? She doesn't seem to be here."

 

[IceQueen]

Cortana sucked in a breath. "No, I think she is fine though. She is a strong woman." She said, looking down. She gulped down her saliva as she walked towards the door.

 

[Kiyoko Tomoe]

Ren walks towards her, scratching his head. "Yeah, she is. She probably went to her favorite place to go when she wants to be alone, but... I am worried for her. She is my little sister, after all."

 

[IceQueen]

Cortana sighed. She kissed his forehead. "She will be fine."

 

[Kiyoko Tomoe]

"You're right, she will be fine. I just hope she doesn't get sick with how cold it is out there."

 

[IceQueen]

Cortana nodded, her eyes pulsing once as she looked at a wall for a second before looking back at him, and placing a kiss on his lips.

 

[Kiyoko Tomoe]

Ren was surprised by her sudden kiss,not knowing what to do. He just stands there, eventually hugging her gently and accepting the kiss.

 

[IceQueen]

Cortana smiled and wrapped her arms around him tightly.

 

[Kiyoko Tomoe]

Ren slowly pulled back from the kiss after a while, having enjoyed it while it were there. "Well, how about we go see what it's like outside for a moment?"

 

[IceQueen]

Cortana thought about it, but nodded, walking towards the door.

 

[Kiyoko Tomoe]

(Sorry it's late. Life's been a real bitch, and damn does it like to slap. Well, not as bad as when I was hit by a car though, that's for sure.)


Ren opened the door, slowly but without hesitation, fear, suspense, or anything. He simply decided to go a little slowly with opening the door, and slowly is how he went. He was unknowingly holding Cortana's hand, like the two of them were a couple about to go on a date.

(Ouch, ok, happy you are back~)


Cortana walked outside with him, looking at the sky as she stood with him. She looked at everything, the city oddly beautiful at this time, but she felt a bit nervous.

 

[Kiyoko Tomoe]

(Ehh... Getting hit by a car didn't really hurt so much as it did screw over my ability to freely move for a few months. Actually happened back in July, I believe...? Yeah, recovered in mid-August. This time, it was my laziness screwing me over with school and shit.)


Ren held Cortana's hand a little tighter, keeping himself calm, in hopes of allowing for her to feel calm as well. He couldn't help but get this slight feeling of nervousness himself for some reason.
