Realistic or Modern The Lucky Willow (Accepting)

Quinton bit her lip in hesitation, looking away from Al for a moment before looking back at her in silence, trying to place her words carefully. "No, no. Something... quite different." At that moment she thought about Horus, and how he asked questions of her whereabouts after dark, by which she would lie and tell him she went for a walk in the Haven. She perked up, smiling at the guard with her sharp hazel eyes looking directly into the other's soft blue eyes. "Don't worry, it's nothing to be afraid about, if that is what you would assume." Instead of keeping on the subject, she rose from the bed and bowed her head to the guard before walking towards the door. "Would you like to take a walk with me? I'm taking a stroll by the nearest lake." Since she would be stuck with Alphonsine, she only figured that it would be best to attempt to get over her fear. So far she had done well since Al sat down, not noticing her height until she thought of it now. For a moment she closed her eyes and took a deep breath to compose herself before looking back at Al once more with a continued cheerful smile.

Al smiled, mentally noting the hesitation. Probably sleep talking or something embarassing.

"If you vish to take a valk, zen ve vill valk. Let me tell Lapis vere ve are going."

Al stood up and made her way to the door. The weather was fairly decent, so her current outfit would probably suffice. As she came up Lapis' room, she knocked on it.

"Lapis? I am heading out to ze lake in ze city vith Quinton."

L was just about to shout 'wait a minute I'll go with you' until she remembered that she had to take care of her new tenant. She slightly lost her temper and kicked the door hard, fortunately her door was made of iron as the Lucky Willow already had changed it so many time that they'd just decided it was better to make it more robust. "Alright!" she shouted bitterly without opening the door.

@Spawnling

Quinton followed suit, taking normal steps close to Al, yet still keeping a small distance between them. Once they were are the other guard's doorway, the dragon stood patiently with a smile on her light pink lips. Though in order to kill time she glanced around the area, watching the crystal chandeliers above as they illuminated the hallway. The glisten of the object mesmerized her to the point where she almost felt tempted to transform and steal the crystals. But, because she was in the presence of two bodyguards, she shook her head as if to shake her thoughts, and stopped looking at the wonderful object. Quinton huffed lightly, releasing a small puff of smoke which smelled like campfire smoke.

After listening to Al converse, and the other seemingly frustrated creature respond, she nodded her head once and looked over to Alphonsine. After a beat, she began walking towards the exit, taking average strides as she went. Her gate was slow yet steady, beckoning anyone that she felt comfortable to be around to walk with her. Before she exited through the double doors, she stopped and spoke to Alphonsine in a moderately projected tone.
"Take your time, Al, I'll be walking quite slowly today." With a smile, she then turned back around and pushed open the doors, stepping into the morning breeze. The sun tickled her cheeks, which were covered in skin colored scales. Although undetectable far away, if you were to look at her while in close proximity you would be able to see a glimmer of light bounce of the scales. Quinton walked slowly through the city and in to the Lucky Willow's forest, protected by magical creatures of all kinds.

Al yelped as the heavy iron door suddenly shook, followed by the irritated "ALRIGHT!" The German did a double take as Quinton began to leave.

"Um...b-bye?"

The Jabberwocky hurried after the dragon. Had she upset Lapis? Sure, the knight had a temper, but it was rarely just...explosive like that. The new tenant must've been odder than she realized. She should do something nice for her when they return. She easily caught up to Quinton, and the pair strolled through the city. Al was silent for most of it, keeping an eye on everything and anything around them. She looked back to Quinton when she was sure the pair was fairly safe. No one was tailing them, no one had given them even really a suspicious glance. They had reached the edge of the forest, which bordered the town. It was a wildlife reserve, and the subject of a thousand different tales from those within the city. According to rumors, creatures and monsters roamed it freely.

This was partly true, but humans didn't need to know that. The rumors kept an equal number of people away as it did attract others.

"...zo, you like ze valks in forests?"

As kind and caring as Al was, she was a terrible conversation starter.

Django wandered around in his room still reading his manga, but eventually he grew weary of his current activity. "Boy oh boy am I bored. Meep," he said quietly in the air. "You know I wonder if I should go out? But then I'd have to L go with me..." he said to me as I was typing. "Ohhh well..." He just stayed in his room deciding to juggle his steel balls.

l feeling frustrated banged on Django's door before opening it and saying "Come on, do you really just want to stay in this room and talk to a non-existing person all day?" L was slightly annoyed as she didn't like being trapped in one place all day. That's how she got pulled away from her last tenant since she threw a fit almost destroying everything he owned.

@YoungX

Django had got out of his bed from the sound of the door being banged on. "Ohh boy... I guess she really is bored out of her mind," he whispered to me as I was typing. "Ok ok. I'll get out. Just didn't want to bother you thats all. Now then, I suppose I'll go look around this wonderful place," he said all giddy as he got up to open the door.

@JessieCarrie

"Good." L walked outside her room and stopped tdiso wait on Django. As people working here passed by her they gave her a disapproving look but as soon as her eyes met theirs they immediately looked away as if she was a gangster. Scoffing at all the gazes she met she just shook her head and looked back at Django's door. She didn't really care what other people thought of her but because of her reputation not many people dared to approach her.

@YoungX

"Now thennnnn any exquisite locations ma'am?" He said with a child-like voice, but at the same time had some seriousness to it. He decided to keep juggling his steel balls, Bonnie and Clyde, as he looked at L.

(Since this is the main page of the thread here is where you rp. At the top there is a page called Out of Character Chat, there you can ask questions. The Character Sign-up is where you make your character sheet. Hope it helps :) )

@Princass

L looked at Django with a very serious gaze "Do not EVER call me ma'am. It's L, understand?" She then looked away while thinking of where they could go "And well, we do have a bar?" She said looking at Django to see if he was interested. Although she didn't drink on the job she always found it amusing to see other people drunk.

@YoungX

He stopped juggling his steel balls and looked at her and made a salute, "Yes, L-san," and then thought about going to a bar. "Hmm... me drinking? Totally a bad idea," he said to me as I typed. He had a smile on his face and asked her, "Do you have any place where I could... "hunt" some prey?" Django decided he wanted to have some fun and what he wanted was to kill something like a strong monster.

@JessieCarrie

"The only way I'm letting you go out and get yourself into danger is if you beat me in a battle. And you do not want to even try, trust me." L said and smiled confidently. She didn't even know whether Django knew what her true form was and she didn't intend to show him at least not indoors.

@YoungX

"Ohh... What a pity then. I was hoping to fight something that'll entertain me," he sighed for a bit. "Well maybe someday I'll just have to fight you then," he said in a tone that seemed like a joke, but he was serious about it. He giggled for a bit and then said, "Then I suppose we'll head on to that bar then," looking a bit bored now.

@JessieCarrie

"Sure, just remember that you might wanna choose a day where you don't need to look your best afterwards." She said actually laughing. As soon as she caught herself in the act she quickly stopped and cleared her throat. As her expression returned to her usual serious one she said "Uhmm, this way." as she began walking towards the bar.

@YoungX

"All righty then. I'll look forward to that day then," he said giggling once more and following L. He decided to take out his yoyo, Jo-Jo, and play around with it. While he was doing that he did some twirls and attempted some very cool tricks with the yo-yo such as creating air currents.

@JessieCarrie

"Quite talented there aren't ya?" L said looking at the yo-yo tricks Django did. When they arrived at the bar she sat down at bar desk.

@YoungX

He smiled at the compliment and replied, "Thank you very much. Of course this ain't no normal yoyo either. It's one of my weapons," he said fiddling around with it as he sat down on one of the bar seats. "Now then... I guess I'll take a glass of milk." Django wasn't really a drinker, so he didn't want to get drunk. "But can I get drunk? Even I don't know," he said to me as I was typing.

@JessieCarrie

"Who?" L was about to ask who he was talking to when she remembered that he spoke to some non-existent creator. Sighing she looked at the bartender as she said "Some water."

L actually loved to drink but every time she did she became well.. very affectionate. And her being affectionate plus her manipulation powers never turned out great.

@YoungX

Emile stepped out of the garnished helicopter, her small manicured hands, placed on the drivers hand, as he helped her out. She stumbled in her heels, looking at the bland apartments, nothing to what she was used to. She dismissed it, taking a small, meek step forward. "Bernard?" She looked at her butler with intent. He got her bags, and placed them on her arms, they fell down to her elbow crease. She began walking, a solemn wave was given to Bernard. She was excited.

She knocked on the door, curious as to who would answer. She smiled with intent, her blue eyes gleaming. She let the wind brush through her polished hair. It blew back in the breeze, but fell back in to a perfect place. She was indeed ready.

Django received some milk and began drinking it, and had a big smile on his face after gulping it all. "AHHHH. That is some wonderful milk if I do say so myself," he said wiping off some milk on his face with a napkin. He turned to L and said, "Well thank you very much for taking me here. Now I know where to get some milk. In any case, it won't be long before I go accepting jobs. I gotta pay the underworld soon," he said with a sigh on his face. He then proceeded to read some manga, the latest Shonen Jump to be specific.

@JessieCarrie

L nodded as Django mentioned searching for jobs "Sure, as long as I can be with you at all times." She loved going out into the city and pretending to be a normal human even though she didn't have a single drop of human blood in her veins. L would usually sit down on a park bench and study the human behavior and try to act it out, although it didn't always go as she'd planned. The first time she encountered a couple kissing she thought it was a way to greet other humans so when a salesman came up to ask her to buy some knock-off earrings she kissed him and then walked away. Then when she mentioned it to Al later on Al had shaken her head and explained to her what it actually meant.

@YoungX @Spawnling (Mentioned)

"Well that is fine by me," he said feeling ecstatic after drinking that nice cold milk. "The underworld don't give no craps about where I get my money from, so it's no biggie what kind I jobs I take. I'm sure your up for it anyways," he decided to stand up from his seat. Perhaps it was time for him to start doing some work. The next expected pay-date is within two weeks, and Django hadn't really worked in a while. "You know what? Let's go take a job right now. My contract date is like two weeks, so let's say you and me have some fun with this jazz?" He said after he did some breakdancing since he was bored. "This is a good chance to do something in this RP," he said to me as I was typing.
